• Boycott Russia 2018
Because FIFA under Sepp Blatter has been unethical, corrupt and evidence points to the 2018 and 2022 world cup bids as being decided by the buying of votes.Quatar would not have been voted for based on logic and evidence as it is too hot to host a world cup

  • remove PLC status from companies who keep breaking the law
Too many companies commit fraud or theft, create pollution or corruption or sell produce based on lies. They get away with it constantly. Hiding behind a trick of the paperwork to never be held accountable as individuals because we treat companies themselves with the rights of an individual in court. This means, usually, a company can be punished for breaking the law but individuals cannot. THIS IS IMMORAL AND WRONG. Removing the Limited Liability from the company will force many of these corporates to think twice before putting profit before people

  • Replace the Human Rights Act with a UK bill of rights.
The EU Human Rights which the British government helped create has become a joke and we have lost control of the UK's criminal system, unable to deport people who actively want to harm British citizens back to their home countries. We need a bill of rights that protects the British people from harm.

  • Thomas Cook Should Give Their £3.5 Million to The Shepherd Family
Is is right that Thomas Cook receives £3. 5 million pounds from the hotel where Christi and Bobby Shepherd died… While the parents who could have also died along with their children only receive a fraction of that money in compensation for their children's deaths? Thomas Cook is a multi-national company with gross sales in the billions of pounds in 2014. We think Thomas Cook should do the decent thing and give the money to the Shepherd family. No amount of money can make up for the loss of two children.. But the people who suffered the biggest loss should receive the largest share. Thomas Cook, give that money to the Shepherd family now. Do the right thing.

  • Legalise Marijuana
This is important because as adults, we should have certain controls over our lives. It seems completely ridiculous that drugs such as alcohol and tobacco are not only legal but sold as a commercial product, yet marijuana is treated as an obscene drugs. It can be argued that marijuana can lead to mental illness but not only has this not been supported by research, but this seems like a hypocritical argument considering that alcohol can lead to numerous illnesses and is one of the leading causes of death in the UK. Not only that, between the years 2011-12, the Office for National Statistics found that alcohol accounted for 63% of violent crimes in Scotland, and 40% of all violent crime throughout England and Wales. Similarly, the risks associated with tobacco such as lung cancer are commonly known, yet both it and alcohol can be legally purchased by anyone over the age of 18 in the UK. We live in a culture where binge drinking seems socially acceptable but smoking marijuana can result in a criminal record. The UK is being left behind by countries who are realising that the war on drugs has failed. Trying to use scare tactics such as prison sentences for the mere possession of a naturally growing substance is ludicrous. Perhaps later down the line, other drugs will become decriminalized but I think it is high time that marijuana is not only decriminalized, but fully legalised. We only need to look to Portugal to realise the effect that decriminalisation and legalisation have on drug use and society overall. A war on marijuana use is not only a war on drugs, it's a war on our basic human rights and our freedoms as human beings. While it is possible (and in fact occurs more often than it should) to die from consuming too much alcohol, the possibility of overdosing on marijuana are inconceivably small. When do we ever hear news updates of somebody dying from a cannabis overdose? Never. For those of you worried about the societal impact of the legalisation of this substance, one only need to look to Colorado to see that legalisation has a vast array of benefits. While this was a fairly recent move and it is still early days, things definitely look positive in areas such as crime rate.

  • Free the "Hound of Hounslow"
Financial institutions around the world employ the same techniques in market trading as Navinder Sarao. They should be prosecuted as well, and first before prosecuting an individual like Navinder Sarao. In addition, due to the length of time the extradition proceedings are likely to take and the difficulty of the US being able to convince a judge that they do have a case, keeping him in prison is cruel and inhuman. He must be freed on minimum bail and surrender his passport instead.

  • Legal high regulations
Every year hundreds of people die as a result of the readily available legal highs, many believe that as the substance is legal, it is safe. It's quite the opposite in fact. The exact ingredients will never be known, and we are unaware of the effects of theses substances. However, despite this, the council still proceed to licence shops selling legal highs. No age restrictions are in place. A child as young as 5 could purchase these lethal drugs, all at the owners discretion. I for one am not going to sit back and watch more and more children become another death statistic. By making it illegal to purchase these substances under the age of 18, we can start minimising casualties. Tight sentences and fines should be implemented to anyone found selling legal highs without a license or to anyone with out verification of age. The fight back starts now.

  • Saving Iraqi Heritage
We would like your support to stop the destruction and trade of Iraqi antiquities. Iraqi artefacts are of critical importance, not only for the region but the heritage of the whole world because they are more than 5,000 years old. This illicit trade in stolen artefacts could be worth 7-10 billion dollars worldwide and is possibly second to the arms and drugs trade. In Iraq, the artefacts are going through neighbouring countries such as Turkey and Jordan and then passing through transit countries that act as markets, final destinations might include US, UK and Switzerland. We are asking the UK government to:- 1 - implement the UN Council Resolution 2199 of 2015. and have recently asked the Iraqi government to:- 1 - set up a database of artefacts (demolished and remaining) and all sites. 2 – register all sites and have a trained police force to protect them. However, the Iraqi Authorities are lacking the expertise and resources to do this as ISIS occupies some of the sites so are not under the control of the Iraqi government. If there is no demand for these ancient antiquities then there will be no supply. Now we would like your support to condemn this destruction of our heritage and add your names and signature to our list of supporters.

  • Justice for murdered child
The victim deserves justice to be brought against her murderer (no matter who that is). Allowing the Metropolitan Police to hide crucial information prevents this and sets a precedence that protecting a murderer is acceptable. This petition aims to do the right thing by Joyce and her remaining family and looks to prevent such cover ups from being made in the future.

  • Criminalise the sale of laughing gas to anyone under the age of 18
Children are putting themselves at risk be inhaling nitrous oxide, already 17 people of died as a result of its consumption. This is due to this product being so readily available, affordable and unregulated. My concern is that very young innocent children will loose their lives from its use. Criminal gangs are now making fake cylinders as they see a market opportunity, this is only going to end in more deaths will youths having no idea of what they are inhaling.

  • Criminalise manifesto lies made by politicians
The people of this country would have more faith in our political system if politicians were held to account in this way. The distinction between parties would become clearer. We would achieve genuine, much needed, political reform. It would minimise those individuals using our political system for their own financial gain thus reducing corruption.
