• Mhairi Black: Stay in Parliament!
Parliament is rubbish - we all know that. And being a good MP is probably even more rubbish. But we need the good MPs to stay in Parliament, and make it less rubbish. And Mhairi Black of the SNP is one of them. I'm English, and don't want Scotland to leave the UK. I wouldn't vote the SNP. But I know a good opposition MP when I see one - who calls out the hypocrisy of the government, speaks up for those stepped on by the cuts and makes sure the Brexit deal we get from the EU is a good one. Parliament is full of boring old men, weird traditions, strange rituals and some seriously odd cosplay. One of the chambers isn't even elected, and the building itself is falling apart. That's why we need decent MPs like Mhairi Black to stay in office and strive to make it better - more representative, responsive and honest. Mhairi: Please don't leave!

  • Traffic Calm the A131 in Sudbury
County Council Elections take place in May. This petition is your opportunity to tell your future Suffolk County Councillor to roll up their sleeves and invest in Sudbury street life. Sudbury's Town, District and County Councillors are well aware of the need for traffic infrastructure modernisation, but other than speculating on a Western Bypass that may happen in a future decade the reality is little if any effort has been made to manage existing traffic beyond the bare minimum. Indeed many villages have better traffic calming measures compared to Sudbury's crumbling roads. The UK Government is beginning to publicly acknowledge the health dangers of emissions and County Council's Nationwide are adopting the 20's Plenty initiative. It's time for Sudbury to Move With The Times.... We recommend the 20's Plenty website for further information on Traffic Calming: http://www.20splenty.org

  • Requesting Home Office to revise the Settlment visa process and applicaiton
Settlement application are important step in many people life , but is far from being informed and manged process and it turned to be a nightmare to many British families and bring them apart. Mamy mistakes happen every day and the appeal process is very lengthy and can take 1 to 1.5 years Similar settlement processes in Australia or Canada could take same time but it is far less stressful and with less mistakes.

  • NO REFERENDUM 2 IN SCOTLAND
https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/public38/images/public-only.gif Scotland has many issues that require immediate concentrated attention to avoid disaster. SNP's obsession with separation has already led to a total neglect of the Administration's duty of care to this country. As education, poverty, fiscal policy and deficit, NHS and policing have reached totally unacceptable levels, it is time to tackle these matters and stop the failure to govern competently. A further divisive referendum is completely inappropriate.

  • Stand up for NHS funding in east Devon: Hugo Swire
Cuts and closures aren’t the only option. If the government gave the NHS the money it needs, it’d mean decisions could be made with patients in mind.

  • Die with Dignity in Scotland
Too many people reach the end of their lives, and sadly are in tremendous pain and have lost their dignity. The medical profession keeps these people alive against their will. This is inhuman. My father, mother and aunt all begged me to terminate their lives to end their suffering. That was over 40 years ago and nothing has changed. Please read this distressing link about Flora, who died recently in Fife. BEWARE IT IS GRAPHICALLY DISTURBING. www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/help-die-family-release-heartbreaking-9614060
