Student transport assistanceA lot of parents cannot afford to pay daily bus fayre for their children to attend school or college on top of school meals and uniforms and normal daily bills and spends. Children have to attend school and we encourage college in order to progress education for our future economy. Currently children that live more than 3 miles away receive massively reduced bus fayre, yet those that live less than this are expected to pay full bis fayre. This is personal to me as my daughter has started college and there will ne times when we cannot take her and as the cold dark nights creep in there will be time when she has to walk home alone, in the dark for a 49 minute journey. We live 2.5 miles which might not sound much but 49 minutes in the cold and dark is plenty. Ironically enough, any children 5 mins around the corner from us are able to get the bus for 50p a day, £1.90 a day cheaper than my daughter all because she lives 5 minutes closer. So a 54 minute walk warrents travel assistace yet a 49 minute walk does not. How is it that students are given student discount on an array if items because it is deemed they need the discount, yet traveling to school and college safely is not paramount. I am not saying it should be free, all I am is saying is that all students should receive a consession when it comes to travel. Ultimately we want our children to be safe and get to school or college on time without the worry or a massive hole in the wallet.3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Stephen Cook

Stop honouring slaversWe need to move forward from honouring people just because they had money. Slavery caused the deaths and misery for thousands of human beings. We live a cosmopolitan world City, we need to lead the world in to showing we don’t honour slavers.30 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Roy Tonkin

Extend the theory testTrying to book my driving test since the online booking became available. However after many hours of waiting online to book, I find out that the online booking system has been closed, meaning I can't book. I have tried since only to have the same problem and to be 250700 in the queue. After waiting all day to try and book, I find that the online booking system has been taken offline again. For this reason I feel that it is only fair to extend the theory test certificateion for another six months, because test centres was closed for nearly 6 months, also the online booking system keeps closing, meaning that you can't even book a test. After hearing that Mot's are expected I only feel that it's fair to extend the theory test.5 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Melissa Baker

Traffic Speeds on Clifton GroveWe have lost two cats and several more have died due to reckless speed entering and departing Clifton Grove. Children play in the street due to not having gardens. It is only a matter of time before a child is injured or killed in this very narrow cul-de-sac.81 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Deby Yates-Hill

Special Educational need provision in ScotlandThe life chances and potential of special needs children should not be adversely impacted by budget cuts, it is the responsibility of all of us to ensure these children are provided with an education fit for their needs and to make sure these policies are written putting the children's needs before the financial concerns of local authorities.1,080 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Mark Henry-Rowan

Provision of full-time Reception places by 21st September1) Enable parents to work - the current timetable is unworkable for full-time working parents. 2) Help settle the children better - the current timetable will require parents to share childcare, placing children in environments they are unfamiliar with. This will add to the stress of starting at a new a school. The school created the timetable to help children settle better. However, it is believed the opposite will be true if parents are seeking out childcare from unfamiliar providers.7 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Alex Collinson

Conjugal visits in the UKIt is important because it would maintain family ties, bonds and connections giving the prisoner a reason to believe that the chances of returning to an ordinary family life is possible after their release from prison. They also provide an incentive to comply with the various rules and regulations while they are incarcerated.433 of 500 SignaturesCreated by Mya Winters

Protection for unmarried couplesSo many couples live together long term and have children, they live together as husband and wife, We may call it common law. So a common law wife/husband in real terms has no law at all to protect them, even thogh the term common law suggests it does. Not many couple are aware of this until they split up. Couples who are not married need to be aware of this and need to have the law to protect them as though they are married, So many couples get ripped off because there is no law out there that truly protects them. Not many have legal agreements in place as they are not advised to do so. Its time for this to be brought upto date and have equal protection for all. if someone gives their whole live over to a relationship and the other person walks out after 19 years, leaving the person without any legal protection is simply wrong. 15 years or even 10 years is considered a lifetime, especially if they have had children together. Its time we were given the same rights as a married couples and all the same responsibilities after they split up, they live together as man and wife so therefore should have the same rights. A lot of people also suffer violence and abuse, this needs to be taken into account because many people also suffer from long term abuse and violence within their relationship. Many people just get use to it and think its normal, but it is not normal. Again a partner can simply walk away and not have any responsibility because there is no law in place. There simply needs to be a law in place to protect these couples who have given their lives to a relationship, we are treated as a married couple, we live together as a married couple, so we need the law to protect us. THE LAW NEEDS TO BE UPDATED, WE ALL NEED EQUAL RIGHTS IN MODERN TIMES!12 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Deborah Harper

Right of Refugees to apply for asylum ‘safely’Refugees are legally entitled to apply for asylum in this country. Yet it is made nigh on impossible for them to do so without taking enormous risk. This has led to tragic loss of life which has included children. These desperate people are forced to take risks they should never have to take. We have no right to consider ourselves a civilised country if we allow this to continue. If we do not take action to change this we lose our humanity. Allow those in social housing with a disability a support animalMy child is 11 and ASD & ADHD - she had at least five violent melt downs daily- we all suffer, her especially. She will smash her head on walls, pull her hair out and she will attack me (her mum) , and the rest of her family. WE have been staying with my mum through a lot of lockdown and have noticed that the influence of her dog (Loki) is massively calming for her. He can sense when she is upset or angry or about to blow her top and he will go to her and snuggle with her and calm her down. In turn this makes the lives of the whole family more enjoyable. I am in social housing by circumstance, I had my own house and myself and my ex had well paying jobs when we had our children (I won't go into it|) but I never expected to end up in social housing ..however when being in social housing a lot of the time means that you get placed in a small fat with NO outside play areas it really does make life hard, throw additional needs into the mix and it is sometimes untenable. Allow these children to have the support animals that can benefit the whole family or just stop placing them into flats with no play areas and into houses with gardens where this would't be a problem.64 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Kiya Ottaway
