Stop politicians misleading voters with fictional figures. It's a well known fact that the British population is a big target of social manipulation. From the newspapers to social networking. We are told how to think by what we view. Obviously not everybody believes in everything our media sources tell us. But when politicians give us figures to bolster their laws and regulations, that is when it too can get lost in translation. FOR EXAMPLE: The TTIP (transatlantic trade and investment partnership) has predicted an additional £10bn being added to the UK economy, with the EU reaping dividend of some £100bn if the agreement is sealed within 12 months. These statistics are a complete fallacy. There is no truth, no mathematical procedure, nor evidence to suggest that this trade deal will bring in such figures. In fact IBtimes, recently posted that A report commissioned by the Left political grouping in the European Parliament, released in March, echoed these views. The report found that "estimated gains from TTIP are very small"; that it will likely have minimal impact on EU unemployment and that any impact on EU exports (a maximum 10% increase) will take place over a number of decades, rather than immediately. The Left group added that the most zealous projections around TTIP fail to include the social and environmental impact of the treaty. But these factors are more nebulous, whereas the figures are just wrong. It is dangerous for our governments to blatantly lie through their teeth with false statistics to benefit their own agendas. This needs to stop. Right now. With your help we can make sure that the Government provides factual statistics, backed up with a mathematical, and practical procedure as to how they got that result, when contributing to political debates.80 of 100 SignaturesCreated by James Bonner

Traffic calming in WoodmansterneLetter sent to MP: I write to you requesting your urgent attention on the untenable traffic situation in Carshalton Road which is becoming virtually impossible to access my stables without fear of accident. We raised this issue in 2010, yet it was deemed not dangerous enough to warrant action given that nobody had been killed. This I found to be completely unacceptable and I have had no other option than taking this matter further again giving how significantly worse the situation has become. To ignore it, and literally wait for an accident to happen would be neglectful and irresponisble. I do not wish to have it on my conscience that I had not done all that I could to protect the safety of myself, my animals and others should a serious accident occur. I would therefore strongly urge you to challenge the previous response I received and argue that nobody should have to die unnecessarily on this road before action is taken. Cars and Lorries consistently exceed speed limits and do not adhere to legal Highway Code requirements by giving no consideration to riders, pedestrians, animals or other traffic. In the past month one of my horses, whilst being ridden by myself, was hit by a car yet the driver did not stop and just continued to drive. Fortunately my horse was fine but I fell and had significant bruising to my thigh and my GP told me that I was lucky not to have been seriously injured. Within the same week, I also witnessed on one occassion school children almost being knocked over, despite them wearing high visibility jackets and being carefully escorted by their school teacher. These are not an isolated incidents and in fact dangerous driving has now become the norm. Other tenants at my stables have been forced to relocate their animals as they can no longer tolerate the situation. They and myself, sadly now feel unable to take our horses out for a ride and enjoy the beautiful green belt that we are fortunate to have on our doorstep, for fear of being killed. My view is shared by many other residents, land owners and tenants on Carshalton Road and we all feel that we are being left vulnerable and in grave danger. I would be extremely grateful for a response and advice as to how we can resolve this dangerous situation. You and your colleagues would be more than welcome to visit my stables and witness the situation for yourselves should you require it. Looking forward to receiving your response. King regards, Miss Jacqueline Cooksey94 of 100 SignaturesCreated by clare stringer

Dredge the River TyneIf the continuing build up of sediment continues and annual rainfall increases it is only a matter of time till more major flooding takes place along the banks of the River Tyne and more subsidence occurs, if dredging could be done it would create jobs as well as create leisure opportunities on the river with a more free flowing river.89 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Aidan Cairns

Independence for the people of Scotland From Westminster RuleWe the undersigned are fed up with the lies and deceit that comes from Westminster. The empty and broken promises from before and after the referendum left many angry from both the Yes and No camps. We can not watch any more of our countries recourses being plundered when millions are being forced to use foodbanks. We will not allow any fracking or nuclear waste to destroy or land. The only way to get the powers that Scotland need to survive is to become a full independent nation with or without Westminster's permission.66 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Robbie Crossan

Discrimination hits disabledIt is important to me because I'm disabled and do my best to be independent. I feel it's difficult enough to plan going out independently without trying to scrape up enough shopping bags in case I should decide to buy something which in itself can eek away my enjoyment and energy for going out.14 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Stella Paterson

Taxing Bankers would make a better investment for the future of the working peeopleBy taxing bankers by 1% we can as a country make billions more for the future economy and for the future system. If the leading political parties follow this idea, the future system for the economy allows the government to put in more money into education , health care , employment and housing for the everyday working citizen. This further means that the government doesn't have to make those who can't afford their own living have to pay more taxes. Such taxes like the Robin Hood tax are great examples where this would work very well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qYtNwmXKIvM77 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Harry Smith

Stop Fracking In ScotlandI believe that fracking has highly potential health risks and can lead to contaminated water courses and soils. It can also lead to birth defects in children due to the chemical used in fracking up to 200 at the least.89 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Ricky Stewart

REFORM MEASURES AGAINST DISABLED PEOPLE AND PROVIDE THEM WITH ADQUATE HOUSINGThis is important as the government are targeting disabled people to get them into work and not providing adequate housing to those who need it. They intimidate the vulnerable and sick, bully those who speak out about their actions, and make foolish comments on what is a fair wage for a disabled person who is working. This has to stop! Sign this petition today and hopefully the government might actually listen to our outcry. It is important to realise that in today's society to work and live without benefits it would cost each person an average of £200.00 per week to pay rent, bills & for food when working. As claimants of benefits the average amount a single person gets is £75 per week with that a person has to pay top up council tax & rent which docks roughly £15 off their benefits per week, then they have to pay for food & bills leaving them with £0 money at the end of a week, for a couple this benefit works out at under £145.00 per fortnight. The government expects people on benefits to struggle even though they themselves haven't taken a pay cut and in fact asked for wages to be put up for all mp's a few weeks ago. How is this a fair system when even the working class are struggling to pay bills and government mp's are sitting pretty in their nice houses and estates. They say welfare claimants are a drain on this country but we are not the government need to realise, that the more pressure they insert on the general public the more angry they will get. Time for change is now! Time to change the government, time to change the changes they are making to this once beautiful Britain, it time to say enough is enough and we aren't going to take it anymore. Sign this petition today. Lets make them change.68 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Michael Gooch

A referendum should occur for 16 and 17 years olds having the right to voteWe have seen in the Scottish referendum that 16 and 17 year olds have voted on a rational basis and not as protest votes. I truly believe that if we are living in a so called "liberal democracy" or "representative democracy" then the voting in the general election must represent the whole population and therefore represent those of a younger age for the fairest outcome and the fairest election. The Scottish referendum had a ground breaking turn out of almost 85%. If we allow younger ages to become part of the electorate , then more of a fair change may come about.13 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Harry Smith
