Save our care homes: the elderly need our help!It might be your parents or a relative that this could happen to. These are very elderly people and some confused or with Alzheimer’s and being moved would greatly affect their health and wellbeing. If Reform want to win the next General Election they are going about it the wrong way by targeting the elderly and care homes. If they need to save money look at other ways.1,460 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Jean Myers

Stop Kings Academy Binfield’s Proposed Admissions Policy ChangeWe believe this proposal is unfair and discriminatory. It goes against the principles of fairness set out in the School Admissions Code (2021), which requires admissions to be reasonable, clear, objective, and procedurally fair. It may also breach the Equality Act 2010, as it disadvantages certain groups within the Binfield and Warfield communities. Every child deserves a fair chance to attend their local secondary school. Take Action Please sign and share this petition to help protect fair access to Kings Academy Binfield for all local families. If you haven’t already, send your consultation response by 24 November 2025 to: [email protected] Together, we can make sure local schools remain for local children.885 of 1,000 SignaturesCreated by Carla Aitchison

Greenwich S.O.S. Save Our ShopsSince the Low Traffic Neighbourhood was put in place in Blackheath Westcombe back in November 2024 businesses have started to struggle. Now, a year later, and the Council has decided to make the scheme permanent despite its negligible improvements to air quality, despite its displacement of traffic onto boundary roads and despite the high levels of inconvenience that it has caused both residents and businesses. Many businesses in both Westcombe Park and Blackheath Standard are recording a drop in trade of up to 30% and some will not be able to stay open for much longer. We believe that we make a really valuable contribution to our community, making it unique and interesting in a way that only such a large proportion of independent businesses can do. We urge the Council to listen to us, support us and accept our demands in order to keep this area vibrant. We need a cast iron guarantee that 2 hours free parking will remain on the roads where all of our shops are situated. We need the Car Park on Old Dover Road to remain. We need the LTN scrapped in its entirety. Or at the very least, the hours of operation to reflect the hours of business i.e. from 7.00 until 9.00 in the mornings and from 5.00 until 7.00 in the evenings. Plus the cameras removed from Langton Way and St Johns Park. And a permit system linked to individual shops that allow deliveries to be made without penalty.683 of 800 SignaturesCreated by Timothy Waters

Fundamentally Reform The Outdated Criminal Justice System.CJS Reform is important if governments of all colours are to meet their primary duty: "To keep its citizens safe and secure". There is little point in having crackdowns on knife crime if the CJS is unable and not equipped to deal with it. Once charged with an offence some defendants and victims are waiting over two years for a trial date. Case papers go missing, witnesses memories fade, and victims become dejected. We need police, CPS, courts, magistrates/judges, prisons, etc to work in sync with each other to prevent victims of crime, and offenders falling through the very large cracks in the 'service'.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Allan Sneller

Make Bath a 20mph CityMost people already personally know someone killed or injured in a road crash. 20mph is not a silver bullet- it is a basic plank of road safety just like people wearing seatbelts in cars. It is proven to reduce the frequency and severity of crashes. Speed limits need to be judged not only in the context of what is safe, but also what makes for a liveable city in terms of noise, air pollution, ease of crossing roads, pleasantness of being on the pavements and so on. The remaining 30mph roads are largely single carriageways with homes and businesses each side, schools on or very near them and often in busy pedestrian areas. For example: - In busy pedestrian areas, adjacent to schools and student halls along the Lower Bristol Road (A36) - Along Bear Flat High Street (Wellsway A367) - In Southern Bath directly outside the following schools: • St Philip’s Primary School • St Martin’s Primary School • Threeways School • Monkton Combe Prep School • Ralph Allen School • Prior Park College • St Gregory’s College • Bath Community Academy site And on directly adjacent roads that are busy routes to the following schools: • Beechen Cliff • Oldfield Park Infants • Roundhill Primary School You can view a map here to view what is left to do to create a 20mph city. We will look back on 30mph in urban areas just like indoor smoking, and be shocked at how long we tolerated the prioritising of speed over safety. Enough is enough.310 of 400 SignaturesCreated by Guy Hodgson

Create Faye’s Law: Stop mislabelling and missed diagnoses by requiring full patient history review.Faye Cunningham died aged 27 after years of symptoms were repeatedly dismissed, mislabelled and not properly investigated. Abnormal results, safeguarding concerns and warning signs were missed across multiple services. Her death was preventable. Faye’s Law would help protect vulnerable patients, reduce diagnostic errors, and ensure people are treated based on evidence — not assumptions. No family should have to discover too late that a full medical history was never properly considered. Disclaimer This campaign reflects the lived experience and understanding of Faye’s family, based on available medical records and evidence. It highlights systemic issues and calls for policy reform in the public interest. It does not assign blame to individual clinicians.41 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Michelle Louiza Oakes

Resurrect (Wales) Autism Bill 2019!❤️ Why is This Bill Essential? Facts and Stories from the Frontline The campaign to reintroduce and pass the Autism (Wales) Bill is not about adding another layer of bureaucracy; it is about saving and transforming lives by enforcing consistency and accountability in our public services. The Head: Why the Law Must Change The Welsh Government currently relies on a Code of Practice for Autism services. Unlike a Bill, a Code of Practice does not fully enforce public services to meet the specific needs of autistic people, often leaving adherence as discretionary rather than mandatory. The facts show this discretionary approach is failing: Crisis in Waiting Times: Diagnosis is the gateway to support. Yet, in Wales, thousands of children and young people are waiting for an ASD or ADHD assessment. In June 2023, 67.4% of children and young people waiting for an assessment had already been waiting for 26 weeks or longer. For adults seeking an autism diagnosis through the Integrated Autism Services (IAS), the average wait in late 2022-23 was 95.1 weeks (nearly two years). A "Needs-Led" Failure: The original purpose of the Autism Bill was to ensure a clear and consistent pathway to diagnosis and guarantee that local authorities and the NHS take necessary action to provide timely support. The current system leaves many autistic people and their families receiving "very little if any support" while they wait for assessment. The Mental Health Catastrophe: Autistic adults in Wales are six times more likely to report low life satisfaction and eight times more likely to report feeling chronically lonely compared to the general population. About 80% of autistic people are diagnosed with at least one mental illness in their lifetime, compared to 26% of the general population. When the system provides temporary, ill-informed responses, it exacerbates this crisis. A legally binding Bill would require the Welsh Government to publish an Autism Strategy and issue statutory guidance to the NHS and local authorities, placing mandatory duties on them to act and be held to account. The Heart: A Personal Plea for Change If I were talking to a friend, I would explain it simply: "This campaign is personal, and it’s urgent. I’ve just been through a harrowing family emergency where I had to fight to reinstate my elderly, disabled mother's care package while simultaneously trying to get crisis mental health support for my older sister. I watched as she was fobbed off with sleeping tablets after repeating distressing symptoms of a mental breakdown. She is facing years of waiting for an ASD assessment, despite the strong likelihood of a diagnosis that could finally unlock appropriate, specialist support." "This isn’t an isolated incident. I was diagnosed in 2018, and even with that diagnosis, the system is not a crisis service. The current Code of Practice means that when the system fails people like my sister—or those facing life-threatening mental health crises—there is no clear legal duty to step in and provide proper, specialist care. "We saw what happened with the original Bill: the government promised the Code would be enough, but my meeting with Mark Drakeford MS and his subsequent letter to the Minister prove that the promises have not been delivered in practice. "We need your voice to put the power of law behind this. We need a Bill that forces every health board and council to stop the two-year waits, provide mandatory autism training for staff, and offer specialist, lifelong support. It’s the difference between a life of isolation and crisis, and a life with dignity and support." Join us because this Bill is the only way to ensure the rights, safety, and well-being of all autistic people in Wales are protected by law, not just by hope.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Spencer Grennan

No SeaLink in Pegwell Bay.Although these plans seem to enhance the country's need for green energy, their completion will bring about devastation for the marshland environment they plan to build their ten story converter station on, damaging a habitat used by a variety of bird species already under threat of extinction. It will cause disturbance to the nature and serene beauty of the area in particular the old Hoverport site in Pegwell bay which will be disturbed by drilling and trenching an undersea cable onto the site and used as a staging area for the massive amounts of hardcore and building materials used in the construction of the converter station, which will be the largest in Europe if it gets completed. This scheme seems to be the worst possible option for the environment but it seems to be the cheapest option for the shareholders of a private company which will maximise their profit at the expense of OUR natural resources and wildlife which is in desperate need of our care and protection. The net effect of this scheme will be the opposite of green energy as it will cause so much environmental devastation. We must not be hoodwinked by this private profiteering company to let them destroy so much natural habitat.10 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Gerald Prior

End tax breaks for oil and gas giants and support workers insteadRight now, the government is propping up the declining oil and gas industry by giving oil and gas producing companies massive tax breaks - to the tune of £2.7 billion every year. Meanwhile these same companies have paid billions of pounds to their shareholders, all whilst laying off large sections of the workforce. This scandal has to end. This financial support could and should be redirected to create jobs and support workers instead. Part of the additional revenue created by ending these tax breaks could fund a targeted jobs guarantee for those currently working in high-carbon industries like oil and gas, that ensures they can find equivalent alternative employment or funded retraining. It’s time for the government to take real action – end tax breaks for fossil fuel companies, and back workers instead.39,089 of 40,000 SignaturesCreated by Carla Denyer
