The war in Syria has been going on too long and too many innocent people have been killed and are still being killed each and every day, and it is us who are killing them. Allowing our government to send RAF planes to drop bombs on innocent people is nauseating. Why are we involved? do we think this is helping the people of Syria? If we want to help the people of Syria, then allow more asylum seekers into the UK, that would be helping. How can you think it is right to bomb a country to smithereens , kill its people and then say no to allowing them a safe haven when they reach our shores. What hypocrisy! So far the 250,000 people who have been killed and maimed up to four times that number, according to the UN’s most senior humanitarian official, about 12,000 of that are Children We should not be apart of this war, and should stop all bombing of the innocent men, women and children. Our aim is to keep this building open for the community. We need to reach out the people of Wilnecote and beyond and show the council that there is a big need for the building to stay open for the community groups that already use it and all those that could use it in the future. The Tamworth Herald recently covered the story and published the following: A whole host of groups in Wilnecote have rallied together in a bid to keep a beloved building where it currently is – at "the heart of the community". Earlier this year Staffordshire County Council revealed that the Wilnecote Community Centre was being sold and the site had been earmarked for a 'flexicare development scheme'. It was agreed that community groups currently using the centre could continue to do so until the end of the year. But now, members of groups including the 1st Wilnecote Guides and Attitude Performing Arts, which regularly use the building, have united to "save" the centre from being redeveloped – and keep it open to the community. Protesters have launched a community organisation called The Wilnecote Arts Centre Ltd and are hoping to raise enough money to purchase the building and retain it for use by local social and community groups. It is not yet known how much money the organisation would have to raise to secure the red-brick building. Christine Harris, a guide leader with the 1st Wilnecote Guides, said: "This building is and always has been a community hub. It's the only hub left in the area. If it goes and is redeveloped we are going to have more isolation in the area and could have more anti-social behaviour because nobody will have anywhere to go." "The amount of people who have joined together over this shows that there's a desperate need for it to stay as it is," added Wilnecote resident Christine. The centre, in Tinkers Green Road, is also currently used by a social group for senior members in the community, by the Wilnecote Residents Association and by a social group for adult learners with disabilities. Michala Hitchcock, an Attitude Performing Arts principal who has been involved in the organisation being established, said the centre "brings people together". "What we're trying to do is get as many local people being able to do activities that enhance the community as possible," she said. "We should be increasing participation in activities and improving people's quality of life and they are the kind of opportunities this building offers people." A county council spokesman said the council will work with everyone interested in the future use of the building. "This building formerly housed Tamworth Day Centre and Wilnecote Youth Centre and it has been included in a flexicare development programme because of the need for this type of facility in the area," he said. "After the youth service moved out, it was agreed that local community groups would use that part of the building rather than it remain empty. This agreement will last until the end of 2015. "A community group has lodged an interest in the future use of the building and the county council will continue to work with all interested parties throughout this process. An announcement on the building's future use will be made in the autumn." Cllr Ian Parry, deputy leader and cabinet member for finance, added: "In Staffordshire we want to ensure that we get the maximum benefits for communities and maximum value for taxpayers of every single county council owned building. As part of this, we have created a partnership to review sites, including those no longer in use, following a review of youth services in 2014."

We want to protect our greenbelt so that future generations can enjoy the benefits of our unspoilt countryside. They are planning on destroying 55 metres of hedgerow and trees without any consideration to the wildlife inhabiting it. A road will be installed through the field. We believe this is for future development. We don't feel the notification procedure was carried through adequately (as in ...very few knew until it was passed) We feel the water company Sutton and East surrey water have badly mismanaged their company and purely led for maximum profit rather than the benefit for the community and our future countryside. Only a decade ago they sold off a large area of their site for housing. They claimed that the reservoir/soakaway lagoon were redundandt and no longer required. Now they say their site is cramped and need an external location for a new lagoon. What next?

The centre is situated in a densely populated, high-need area of the city, which would benefit immeasurably from the restoration of a hub for community life. We believe that given the opportunity, and the necessary backing and resources from the council, local residents will rise to the challenge so that the centre can be run by and for the local community, empowering people in difficult times.

Why should the NHS pay for this? Smoking is a choice that people make. My mum has asthma which is a life threatening condition and had to pay for her prescription. This makes me so angry that they are even considering this. The NHS is already in so much debt so why offer this?

It is a draconian outdated privileged system which maintains a revolting class system within this country. Only people worthy of such a second chamber, people who have done immense good for others not the outdated hereditary system.

The recent sale of 191-201, Archway Road, London N6 5BN to Investland/ Archway Apartments is threatening the livelihood of a long-standing group of small businesses, entrepreneurs, sole traders and craftsmen, who provide a wide range of services to the local North London community. The proposed development seeks to completely demolish the independent work-units currently used by this diverse collection of small businesses in order to build a new block of luxury flats, also housing a supermarket. The impact of yet another major supermarket would not only destroy the livelihood of the many small independent grocery businesses in the Archway road area, but would also create a major increase in traffic congestion in what is already an overly congested area. A wide range of small independent businesses currently operate from these premises, including highly experienced health and fitness professionals, a media production company, carpenters and joiners, therapists, a painter, and a tailor and clothing designer. Some of these businesses have been providing valuable services to the local Highgate community for decades, and face eviction if these proposals were to go ahead. The proposed new development plans would also mean the eviction of the residential tenants currently living in the block, some of whom have lived here for over thirty years. A report published in 2015 by Sussex Innovation, the business incubation network owned by the University of Sussex, found that two thirds (63%) of small business owners in London and the South East are considering leaving central London due to the lack of affordable business premises in the capital. This is not just a local Highgate issue, but is in fact representative of a growing problem effecting small businesses across the country, where short-sighted and profit-focused property developers are destroying the very heart and soul of local communities in Great Britain. The UK is the only country in the EU who recruit 16 year old children, and a study by human rights groups ForcesWatch and Child Soldiers International in 2013 found that soldiers who enlisted at 16 and completed training are twice as likely to die in Afghanistan as those who enlisted aged 18 or above. Sanitised war game entertainment is the biggest insult to the harrowing experience of those who fight. As it stands, only the father's name and 'rank or profession' is needed on a marriage certificate. We believe this is archaic; a father's name and profession was important when marriage was seen as the passing of a possession (the woman) from one man (the father) to another (the husband). This is no longer the case. If the information is necessary for public record, then the mother's name and profession should be included too. Mothers play as vital a part in their children's upbringing as men do (and sometimes more...) and this should be reflected in modern marriage certificates. Ideally a person would be able to include information for only one parent if they so wish. Having to include a parent with whom one does not have a good relationship on something as significant as a marriage certificate can be unnecessarily upsetting.

North West Ambulance Service Patient Transport Service (PTS) is the largest provider of non-emergency patient transport in the United Kingdom - in 2013/14 they carried out approximately 1.2 million patient journeys. Bids have now been placed for the contract which is to be awarded by the clinical commissioning group on December 4th 2015. I believe that the only provider able to give high quality standards of patient care within the community is North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust. The Trust has modernised its operations which has resulted in an improved patient experience, they offer the highest quality standards by acting as a bureau/broker for patients who need transport. The Trust recognises the diverse needs of the patients and offers a specialised service for haemodialysis and cancer patients.

This is Liverpool's gateway street. It is in the city's World Heritage Site Buffer Zone and is recognized internationally as an extremely important part of Liverpool with great architectural, historical and cultural significance. Listed buildings that would be negatively affected if the scheme goes ahead, include the following: the Anglican cathedral tower (Grade I) and St. Luke’s Church (Grade II*) to the south, and St. George’s Hall (Grade I) and plateau, the Cenotaph (Grade I) Lime Street Station (Grade II) and the Walker Art Gallery (Grade II*), Picton Library (Grade II*) and County Sessions House (Grade II*) to the north. In addition, the Futurist cinema is one of the earliest in the country and Liverpool's first purpose built cinema. Liverpool's World Heritage Site is already in jeopardy and this could push it off the list, flying in the face of international treaties and agreements. The proposals from Neptune Developments, recently approved by Liverpool City Council, involve the demolition of a large site and the replacement of a historic row of buildings with a shopping centre and student accommodation of poor design. The proposed replacement buildings are eleven storeys high, well over what is permitted in this part of the World Heritage Site Buffer Zone. Currently the probate services industry handles in excess of £1 billion of assets every year. Yet there is no regulatory body to watch over the companies that provide probate services. In fact, anyone who is reading this could quite legitimately become a provider of probate services and handle £100,000's of assets left to others in the wills of deceased people, including cash, savings and property without being answerable to any authority. Because of this incredible lack of regulation, many companies who offer complete probate service packages can quite literally do as they please with the assets of a deceased person whilst working under the guise of the probate process, often taking literally years to complete fairly basic cases. Many companies in this industry use delaying tactics to ensure interest is earned on estate assets, without passing it on to beneficiaries. There are many reported cases of companies over-charging, lying and deceiving customers, often to cover up mis-handling of cases. Many firms have deals with high street banks which give them automatic access to the bank's deceased customers' personal details and account information and work to convince relatives or executors of the deceased that the probate process is a very difficult system to negotiate. These companies often use leaflets placed at Registry Offices which falsely appear to be provided by charities officially endorsed by Local Governments. The probate industry must be regulated by an official body who can effectively ensure that the companies which deal with the financial assets and properties left to beneficiaries pass the assets over to them speedily, accurately and without causing any undue extra stress on bereaved people. What other industry could handle such high value personal financial assets without coming under regulation in the UK? None, so it is imperative that the Probate Services Industry is brought into line to eradicate the deep-seated 'cowboy' companies, some of whom are currently the largest providers of these services in the UK.
