TFL have made all travel for children under 11 free in London on buses, trams, underground and overground trains. In addition other train service providers, also provide free travel to those under 11. However almost all train lines in South London require children aged 5-10 to pay. Those people with young families who live in South London are the losers in this postcode lottery. The main train lines who still make children under 11 pay are run by Southern, Southeastern and Thameslink. This petition is addressed to David Brown the CEO of the Go-Ahead Group; and Alistair Gordon the UK CEO of Keolis Group; as these companies own Southern, Southeastern and Thameslink. Councillors should be allowed to use local democracy to refuse developments without the fear of developers overturning decisions through the appeal process and planning inspectorate. Our road systems are proven to be incapable of accepting more traffic, there are insufficient GP’s, school/nursery places and sports/recreational facilities. We also care about protecting our green and rural land (once we lose our countryside, we lose it forever). These issues all need addressing before any more houses are built. Our planning system should ensure local voices are heard and work to stop people's quality of life being affected by increasingly poor services. It is your Community. Do something about it. It is important because the existing practice is unfair, dishonest and discriminatory all of which are un-British. It often results in pensioners who have gone to live with their families in countries like Canada or Australia having to sponge on their children or return to a lonely life in the UK where, of course, they become a burden on the NHS. The exclusion of British pensioners in most countries from receiving their rightful pension is irrational. Pension freezing means that after twenty years a pensioner is getting less than half of his or her entitlement. Our Government claims to be fair and honest but it seems to be unfair and dishonest. If we all pay the same compulsory contributions we should all get the same pension.

Southwark Council is intending to de-designate one of the two existing pitches at the Rye Lane end of Moncrieff Place, (in front of the PeckhamPlex cinema). This would mean the loss of: an historic fully licensed street pitch, a long standing commercial outlet providing affordable goods for local shoppers for over 25 years, part of the infrastructure supporting small independent traders in the town centre, and the livelihood of a local trader and his family. Moncrieff Place stall holders are established licensed traders and have the full support of the Southwark Association of Street Traders (SAST) and the Rye Lane Traders Association (RLTA). They are fully supportive of improvements to Peckham town centre, but not when it means losing vital and valued retail space and the loss of a long standing Peckham business.

We are currently in a GP recruitment crisis, with applications for GP training schemes falling every year. The suggested plans to cut GP registrar pay will exacerbate this trend and put even more junior doctors off a career in general practice. This will worse the current severe shortage of appointments, leading to poor patient satisfaction and putting patients at risk. The government say they want to hire another 5000 GPs by 2020, but this massive pay cut will make this an impossible target. This is another ideological attack on the NHS and its workers.

I would like to put a formal complaint in about the three candidates Yvette Cooper, Liz Kendal and Andy Burnham for the derogatory comments that all three have made about Jeremy Corbyn in their own election campaigns. This contravenes number 3 and number 13 of the code of conduct of election candidates where they will not 'disparage or brief' against other candidates. I find this behaviour against Jeremy absolutely abhorrent. The general public have been inspired and motivated to take part in this election and have had their faith in politics renewed. The smear campaign against him by the other candidates as well as Tristram Hunt and Simon Danzuk MP's and Tony Blair and Gordon Brown has been disgusting and a slur on the Labour Party. Tom Jones is an icon of the Music Industry and a total Legend. The show will not be the same without him. He's the reason many of us watch it. How can you drop someone who has worked with such major stars as Elvis, the Beatles and the Rat Pack?! It's ridiculous to try and replace him and the show will suffer without his good looks, sex appeal and spectacular charm. BRING HIM BACK!

RNIB Scotland members all of whom are blind or partially sighted have had no say in this decision despite RNIB being "of" rather than "for" blind people and this strikes at the heart of our organisational democracy. Action for Blind People have no knowledge whatsoever of Scotland, have no presence in Scotland and we fear their takeover will put at risk the excellent services that RNIB Scotland already provide. We are also deeply concerned as blind and partially sighted people that our ability to influence decisions in Scotland will be diminished as it totally ignores the reality of devolution and the increasing focus on the Scottish Government and Scottish Parliament as the place to find advantage for blind and partially sighted people in Scotland. We were not consulted. We were not asked. We say STOP! NOW!

We want to tell the aviation industry to clean up their act. Most of you fly on aircraft. Did you know that the air you are supplied to breathe onboard on all aircraft, except the Boeing 787, comes from the engines? This air is provided unfiltered and is known to become contaminated with a complex cocktail of chemicals including organophosphates (many chemical weapons and pesticides are organophosphate based). This occurs when hazardous jet engine oils or hydraulic fluids contaminate the air supply. The High Court of Australia ruled in 2010 that inhaling these fumes is harmful yet aircraft have NO form of detection systems to warn when the air is contaminated, NO passenger is ever told when they are exposed and pilots have been totally incapacitated in flight from these exposures. Passengers and crews deserve a safe environment to fly or work in.
