Better support for people with Dementia in CeredigionThis is important for both people with dementia and their carers'. There are no good Emi / nursing facilities with Ceredigion. This restricts respite care available to carers' and means people with Dementia are having to be placed miles away from family and friends at a time when they need them most. Often it means relatives can't visit as often or even at all. Dementia is a growing problem and the lack of good support for carers and quality care puts even more stress on all concerned. This illness robs people of so much, and affects so many. It's hard enough to be with a loved one and watch helpless as the illness progresses, without having to worry about how they can be cared for and where.12 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Pauline Bett

Save Tynyrheol primary schoolI am a school governor of a school which is being closed, against the wishes of the community, children of three years of age are expected to get up early, travel in a bus and very possibly go without breakfast. These children will lose all the comradeship attained through living in a close community. The only community shop will close because parents will not be taking the children to school, and will no longer be customers. This is a disaster for a close community.20 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Clive Mitchell

Legalize Political ManifestosPrior to the last election ,the present Government made far reaching promises to protect NHS and ring fence the spending, even promising to increase it .They have renaged on all the promises outlined in their Manifesto, not only on this issue but many others too,we as the electorate should have right to take them to task .78 of 100 SignaturesCreated by George Buckley

No Mother and baby unit in WalesWhen mothers who are suffering need specialist perinatal mental health staff. Also the bonding and attachment with the mother is so important. The knock on effects of this illness is splitting families up and having huge effects on the next generation. The new report by MMHA says it will save the country money if the services was in place. Wales is 70 per cent lacking in support and families need help today. Ebola treatment volunteer medal/award.To volunteer to travel to an Ebola infected country, in order to treat patients infected with Ebola virus, takes a level of bravery which is beyond words, and is equally comparable with many military bravery medals. That high level of altruistic bravery cannot go unrecognized by the country at large.16 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Tim Peers

Rail Fares That Make SenseWe have a bewildering number of train tickets available, which can sometimes mean that for a long journey it is cheaper to buy 2 single fare tickets rather than one single fare ticket. Also, a return ticket can be cheaper than a single. It can even be cheaper to buy a ticket from one train company's ticket machine than from another train company's machine. Travelling to London Victoria can be cheaper than travelling to Clapham Junction (a shorter distance for me). Looking at a ticket machine screen can make your head spin, when all you want to do is get from A to B and be charged for the distance travelled. Legislation is needed to impose logic and fairness.79 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Edward Anderson

Devolve Benefits To ScotlandThe current direction of welfare spending and procedures is not in-line with the will of the Scottish people and the direction in which we want to take. With 100,000 disabled persons standing to lose their lifeline in coming months it is imperative that the Scottish Parliament is able to make decisions on their welfare made based on the needs of the people of Scotland.318 of 400 SignaturesCreated by Martin Keatings

Free Julian AssangeJulian Assange and Wikileaks provided a very important service to the whole world by exposing the extent to which the US National Security Agency (NSA) is invading everyone's privacy, among other things. He should not be forced to spend the rest of his life in the Ecuadorian embassy in London when there is a simple solution. Why have the Swedish prosecutors refused to see him over here, given that there are so many of his supporters who would be willing to pay their costs. He has not ben charged with any offence in Sweden - they merely want to question him over rape allegations.123 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Richard Turner

Stop abusing wildlife in reality TV programmesIt is cruel and unnecessary and promotes lack of respect for precious wildlife. It certainly makes for uncomfortable viewing. I recently wrote to viewer services at ITV and their response led me to reply: "I'm afraid that does not reassure me or my friends that those animals and insects are perfectly safe from harm during the tasks. If you were a small creature with a long tail and were forced to endure confined spaces with multiple other of your species and a large drama-driven 'celebrity', would you feel safe from harm? The snake felt sufficiently threatened to lash out in defence, and the small reptiles were trying to get away, clustering in corners and running to avoid the big body squashing into that small space. I think the producers know themselves this is wrong. Please come up with something that doesn't involve wild creatures. They are not here for anyone's warped entertainment. ............................ I was cringing at the cruelty of putting those poor creatures into an underwater tank to be trampled on and terrified, just because the producers think that's entertainment. Why can't the producers come up with tasks that don't involve putting wild and beautiful creatures in harm's way? .231 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Maria Bell

Withdrawal of diabetic retinopathy screening in Heywooddiabetes affects all ages, sex and ability/disability however when having the screening done everyone is rendered almost sightless for a few hours and therefore extremely vulnerable - if they have to travel to another town to get this screening it they would either have to have an escort and take several buses or an expensive taxi and some diabetics are old and disabled plus they may be alone therefore having the test done locally would suit all concerned67 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Debbie goldrick
