Do you think that British citizens living in EU countries and worldwide should be able to vote in the UK's EU referendum? There are at least 3 million Brits living in EU countries but many of them will not be able to vote! The results of the referendum will affect all of us, no matter where we live. Do you know that British citizens who have lived abroad for more than 15 years lose their right to vote in UK elections? David Cameron has promised in this Parliament to give UK citizens living abroad a lifetime right to vote in UK elections, but he has said that this will not happen before the EU referendum. If Britain did leave the EU, what would happen to people who live in EU countries? Would they become illegal immigrants in their EU homes? Would they lose their rights in those countries? What if they all came back to Britain? Where would they live? What would they do? A lot of ex-pat Brits are old. How would they cope, and how would the UK cope with them? Isn't it unfair and a bit crazy that they cannot vote in a referendum that will affect every part of their lives?

Many people don’t know that North Lanarkshire Council do not regard Shotts as a Town. The Council prefer to divide our community into two neighbourhood centers of Stane and Dykehead. In 2013 Councillor Cochrane and Councillor Cefferty put a motion to North Lanarkshire council that Shotts be recognized as a Town. This was defeated, Shotts is still not regarded as a Town. Our community cannot apply for Town Centre regeneration as to quote North Lanarkshire Council, “Shotts is not a Town”

Because it's a village pub we are a close knit village young and old a like this would tear the heart from the village. We have two lady ladies as present who have made a fantastic change in such a short time. Greene King have sold the lease behind everyone's back after they promised it would remain a proper pub as its a prime site we already have one Chinese restaurant the last thing we need is a Thai less than 100 yards d own the road.

This will have a negative effect on local businesses, and would undo some of the success of the newly redeveloped New Brighton....

The traditional single-storey building at 1 – 6 Canonmills Bridge has found a place in the hearts of locals and visitors to the area, serving as an attractive and popular hub for social life around a busy junction. The proposed redevelopment would loom, large and awkward, amongst the lovely older properties around the junction and bridge, destroying the harmonious character of the area. The current structure allows views of a corner turret, the greenery in the valley of the Water of Leith, plenty of sky and an interesting skyline. The City of Edinburgh Council Guidance on Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas February 2014 states that demolition will only be acceptable in a conservation area if the new development preserves or enhances the area – in the eyes of signatories, this is blatantly not the case in this instance. WE URGE THE COUNCIL PLANNING SUB-COMMITTEE TO RECOGNISE THE VALUE OF THE EXISTING BUILDING TO THE COMMUNITY AND REFUSE PERMISSION TO DEMOLISH IT. Note, if permission to demolish is refused, the redevelopment, as approved, will not be able to proceed.

We, the undersigned, recognise the need for good sports facilities for schools but oppose this development because it will risk the destruction of a precious natural landscape, threaten wildlife and remove a valued area of recreational space from the local community.

Kate is a Chartered Surveyor and young mother of two from Wilmslow. One day she was pushing her daughter (in a pram) along a one-way residential street when suddenly she was shunted by a van which had veered on to the pavement, ‘clipping’ both her and the pram. Luckily she and her baby weren't hurt but she was very shaken. She asked others if this had happened to them and received a number of responses advising of "near misses” and “problem areas” where accidents could happen if improvements weren't made. Overall there was a strong consensus that road safety needed to be addressed and improved in Wilmslow. Incidents such as these are not necessarily picked up in accident reports and therefore the risks to the most vulnerable road users are routinely underestimated. Cheshire East Council have been presented in the past with a petition of 150+ signatures and countless letters, yet there is still no visible action on this issue. This is why we're asking to introduce a 20mph limit where people live, as has been done successfully in many villages, towns and neighbouring areas. We are also petitioning for improved pedestrian crossings at the following locations: a) Hawthorn Street at the junction with Altrincham Rd b) Hawthorn Street close to Pepperberry Day Nursery (where the pavement stops) c) Chapel Lane Shops (junctions with South Oak Lane/Buckingham road and Bourne St/Nursery Lane) d) Knutsford Rd close to the junction of Church Rd/Upcast Lane. Please sign this petition to bring the speed limit down NOW and to improve some of the more dangerous roads and pedestrian crossings. For maximum impact, please share this request with family, friends and other Wilmslow residents. Why a 20mph limit? • Safer – “A pedestrian hit at 20mph has nearly 100% chance of survival. Less congestion for motorists: with switching to walking and cycling there would be fewer cars on the road, and by driving more slowly vehicles can pack in more closely together thereby improving traffic flow. • Popular – 80% of the public and 75% of drivers support 20 mph as a speed limit on residential streets. Thousands of people are making journeys to Europe at great risk to their lives, to flee from war and danger. They have left everything behind - homes, jobs, almost all possessions, many bringing babies and children with them. Britain has a proud and noble history of admitting refugees - the kinder-transports before the last war saved many children, we admitted fleeing Kenyan Asians , we admitted Vietnamese boat people. Most of us have never faced anything like the loss, danger and fear the migrants are driven by. They go in over-crowded boats knowing they may drown, but take the risk , because what they leave behind is so terrible. We should in decency and compassion admit a fair and generous number of migrants to the UK and take the lead in encouraging all of Europe to do the same. I was on a ferry near the Greek island of Samos and about 50 migrants were brought on board. As we left the boat , next to me was a man holding the hand of a toddler, and we smiled at each other. I have a grandson about the same age. There was nothing I could do to help them then, but this country can and should help. Imagine if it was you or your family?

Following the 2015 General Election and the success of the SNP, it is vital that all the elected MPs take a part in the voting to get the voice across for our wildlife.

Nunhead Reservoir has one of the best views in South London. It has been a much loved picnicking spot, place to relax and hang out with friends for many years, and deserves to be officially opened so that everybody can enjoy it. London is being sold off piece by piece to private owners for private interests, let's not let them take this much loved green space along with it.

York has few benefits for residents. The new art gallery should be free and this will stimulate greater attendance, so revenue will still be gathered.
