• Gloucester Recycling is Rubbish
Waste collection is an area that affects all of us, not just the day to day cleanliness of our city but also our impact on the environment. This failure by Gloucester City Council, and their Contractor Amey, has a wide ranging impact on us as residents. Our environment is unnecessarily impacted by the recycling we sort being placed into landfill due to ineffeciencies and the services we need are degraded by the shortfall in funding due to recycling not being able to be sold. £300,000 is a large part of our council's budget which, with the continued defunding of our local councils from central government, we can not afford. We are chastised if our bins are put out with the lid open but the lack of scrutiny or diligence in the Council's handling of Amey and their contract is frankly mind boggling, it's time for change. • Release the 1921 Census early/
It is already 97 years since the 1921 census. The 1931 census data for England was destroyed and no census took place in 1941. This is invaluable data and for many researchers release in 2021 will be too late.

  • Re placement Gates
Gates have been erected at Maudland Road thru to Seymore Road, South Shore, Blackpool, it is understood the gates were for the security of the rear of St Heliers Road. The placement of the gates has restricted access to and from Bancroft park and the South Shore area as well as easier access to bus routes on Lytham Road and the main gate of Blackpool Gateway Academy. These inconveniences have had a detrimental effect on the residents of St Heliers Road, Saville Road, Maudland Road, Baron Road, Stansfield Street and Central Drive and beyond. The problems cover a range of issues, namely lowered security, health issues, traffic problems and the general wellbeing of the community. Repositioning the access to this walk way will allow access to Bancroft park and South Shore and improve the wellbeing of many of the residents.

  • Freeze cuts to youth facilities in London.
This is fundamental because in a country where youth crime is at such a high rate, youth facilities provide vital refuge from Britain's gang scene for youth. Despite this, their budgets are being dwindled. This needs to stop!

  • LETS BRING AN ICESKATING RINK TO NORWICH, UK
An iceskating rink would be a perfect idea for local residents and a tourist attraction. The local icerink from Norwich is in Peterbourough (1 hour 38 minutes.) This is inconvenient for those who wish to bond with family, spend time with community due to it being too far to travel.

  • Celebrate Religious Diversity
Christians are officially the most persecuted minority in the world at the moment, Jews have a long and painful history of persecution and Islamophobia is prevalent in our society. It would be wonderful for SE railway to start conversations amongst customers and colleagues by demonstrating how much all of these groups have in common. It would also combat religious illiteracy which is leading to intolerance in our society.

  • Gambling adverts on tv and everywhere on the internet
It's important because they are using techniques which give you a little and take a whole lot more back like a stereotypical drug dealer offering you a little try to get you to buy into it... I believe it's a scam and only destruction can come from it to the majority.

  • The Crimea Monument. Sheffield
The Crimea Monument is a listed war memorial, It was errected in memory of the men who fell in epic battles including The Charge of The Light Brigade, and according to The Victorian Society is in the top 10 of endangered buildings in the UK. The disgrace is that the memorial was removed for the Botanical Gardens when they were renovated on the understaning that it would be resited within 2 years. This never happened and this monument which was paid for by public donations has been left to gather dust out of sight of the public. Repeated requests to Sheffield Council have been met with disinterest. It seems that Sheffield does not respect its war dead. We call on Sheffield Council to find a site and put this fine listed monument back on display so that the public can pay their respectsto Britain's war dead.
