Don't delay the new Ysgol Pendref SchoolYsgol Heulfre merged with neighbouring Ysgol Gwaenynog to form Ysgol Pendref in 2012 and we were promised a new building by 2019, with feasibility works beginning in 2014. Denbighshire County Council have now back tracked on their promises, saying the costs are too high and that the school must wait for the next round of schools funding. This is despite the dates being a condition to the merger. It now looks likely that the new school will not be ready until 2024 if the Council gets it's way. This will have a major impact on our childrens education and ultimatley their futures. With more homes due to be built in the area, class sizes growing and cuts to schools budgets this delay cannot be allowed to happen and the Council must be held to account for their promises. The old site is not fit for purpose in any way. As a parent, I cannot stand by and do nothing. We all need to stand together and fight for our children and their futures before it's too late. Please visit the link below for more information but please don't forget to sign before you leave. http://m.denbighshirefreepress.co.uk/mobile/mnews/172401/new-ysgol-pendref-building-in-denbigh-could-be-put-back-to-2024.aspx27 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Megan Belgrau

Catmose College - hot weather uniform policyIt is both unfair and unsafe to expect students to wear the prescribed uniform which includes black blazers, ties and tights, in spells of hot weather. The relaxing of these items is In order to promote health and wellbeing and to maximise concentration levels amongst students. This is practiced within all major uniformed associations such as military and emergency services. Guidance should also be observed by NHS England http://www.nhs.uk/Livewell/Summerhealth/Pages/Heatwave.aspx After a short and frank discussion this morning with the Headteacher on this issue, my suggestions were met with a degree of negativity. Whilst a decision was made to relax the uniform with an impending high of 29 degrees C, comments were made to suggest there have been no complaints from either Parents or Students, one which I aim to prove is not the case. Therefore, I would like to call on all Parents and Guardians who have children at this school to support this petition and ensure a fair and safe policy is adopted. Contrary to comments posted on social media by the school, yesterday is believed to be the first time the uniform was officially relaxed through a notification to all staff from the Head Teacher, bizarrely this was after pressure on FB and my face to face conversation with the Head. I am not in search of glory, but it needs to be made clear this was down to pressure, which this petition further enhances. Thank you all in advance😉362 of 400 SignaturesCreated by Stewart King

Closing schools during extrem hot weather.High temp causes children to become lethargic. It also causes head aches, dizzesness, confusion, loss of appetite, a feeling of sickness, cramps, higher BP and pulse, Heat exhaustion can lead to full blown heat stroke. What is the point of making our children ill when they can't learn anything due to feeling so bad due to the heat. We need to put our children's health first. Our weather is changing due to climate change every year. It's going from one extrem to another. From bitter cold to torrential rain. Now we are starting to get hit by the heat for weeks on end.14 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Sonia Dove

Consultation regarding the future of Drayton Green Primary SchoolAs parents/carers of children at Drayton Green Primary School we are writing to you to express our dismay and concern over the forthcoming strike action on 20/21 June and potential further dates. Whilst we appreciate the complexities of the situation and the difficulties both sides face, we don't understand why it appears that the governors are not communicating with the school community. Â The school community would like the Governing Body to hold an information meeting before the end of the academic year so that we can understand your concerns, what investigations are taking place and what outcomes you hope to achieve. Â The school community need reassurance that their concerns matter and that the Governing Body will listen to them. Â By not sharing any information to date, many are making the assumption that there is nothing to discuss as decisions regarding academy status for the school have already been made. We are also asking that this petition is recognised as a formal complaint for allowing the situation to reach a point where our children are now being denied schooling. Yours sincerely Drayton Green Primary School Parents & Carers2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Rachael Sadegh

Keep paper planners in Diss High SchoolTo make sure poorer students who cant access the internet or people that cant access the internet due to living in a rural area which is a common issue in Norfolk. Also many students use their planners as a way of staying organised. sending messages straight to parents cuts out the student which breaks Diss High Schools core value of respect to everyone in school also sending messages straight to parents makes students less independent37 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Kieran Murphy

Studio Spaces for Illustration and Graphic designAt the moment the current course size that will occupy this room in september is not legally allowed to use the studio room 350 as a group. This goes against the point of providing a studio and is very detrimental to the course and the students education. Unless the studio is remodelled or more studio space allocated there is no way the course can function with this many students.186 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Isaac Mount

Save Easton Garford SchoolPeterborough Diocese Educational Trust (PDET) have just informed us that they want to close our village school. This has just been communicated a number of weeks before the end of term. Their proposal is to bus our little ones to the other side of Stamford! The educational welfare of our children is more important than being 'financially viable'. We cannot be forced in to a new school selection just because PDET have chosen to announce this so late.272 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Ian Scrivens

Student Loan Interest RateIt has been about 5 years now since course fees rose to £9000 and so Students who are leaving university now with degrees have debts of around £40,000 ( £50,000 plus if they've done a 4-year course such as an Integrated Masters degree which are especially common in science) Students will barely be paying off the interest when they work as this will be £200 to £300 per month. Presumably their debt will grow further if they are unable to pay back even the interest because they are in low-paid jobs.85 of 100 SignaturesCreated by jane harding
