Due to government cuts Hospitals around North Derbyshire are being closed. Our standpoints should be taken into consideration due to the harmful effects which would occur if this beneficent petition were not to be signed. Factors such as travel would become problematic especially for the elderly relatives having to use public transport in rural areas such as Bakewell and surrounding villages. The staff would have to be relocated perhaps to a less convenient area which may extend their working day and affect their life/work balance and would cost more in travel. Overcrowding would be seen in the larger hospitals which would have a drastic impact on waiting times. These are just some of the multiple problems North Derbyshire would face in the shutting down of some of their many hospitals. To also show support it would be very beneficial if you would come to the meeting in the County Hall in Matlock at 7pm on the 24th of July.

NHS staff are vital in the UK. They save lives and shouldn't be penalised for it. There is no justification why they should be charged were they park their car using private car park companies in fines. It's disgusting to think it's actually happening. Needs to be resolved.

Affective touch is a powerful medium for conveying empathy between people, for example when acknowledging that a child is highly successful, anxious or upset. A large body of recent neurobiological and psychological research clearly demonstrates that affective touch activates a crucial nerve system in the skin of all mammals that defends against stress and promotes feelings of well-being. A lack of touch is linked to less ability to cope. Safe touch also promotes discussion about what is not safe or wanted by other people.

It is an iconic building donated to local authority in middle 1840's for the use of local community uses despite of this restriction the Ealing Council is leasing it out for 250 years. The building came to prominence in 1979 when the community rose up and confronted the National Front from holding the meeting at this building. In process over 800 people were arrested and 344 were charged; and Blair Peach died by the hands of Special Petrol Group. This was inspiration for anti-racist struggle in whole country and indeed internationally. Proposal had been sent to Ealing Council to maintain the building at no cost to them and Infact offering rent of £30,000 - but the Council had not stopped the sale.

The travel conditions are worse than the underground. We are squashed in like cattle taking up isles and all areas. We have the right to a seat for what we pay or to be able to at least stand comfortably.

This is important because: • Mountain Ash and neighbouring communities who use the Jobcentre Plus at Mountain Ash have a high level of digital exclusion. The Jobcentre Plus provides vital support for the local population to regularly access job opportunities • The distance between Aberdare and Mountain Ash does not take into account the distance some claimants already have to travel to attend the Mountain Ash office. • The extra cost of travel must be taken into account and assurance given that no claimant will be out of pocket if this closure goes ahead • Mountain Ash and its neighbouring communities are recognised as amongst the most deprived communities in Wales. This closure will be another blow to an already impoverished community. • Many claimants suffer from ill-health, often including mental ill-health, and require support as locally as possible. • This Tory Government decision to centralise facilities and take staff from local (and deprived) communities, flies in the face of the Welsh Government Strategy ‘Better Jobs, Closer to Home’. It is important that Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service continue to provide a specialist rescue capability operating from the strategic locations of Taunton, Yeovil and Glastonbury - that Firefighters based at those locations can maintain their skills and experience for the benefit of those living, working, visiting or passing through the geographical area of Somerset. A loss of this provision will be detrimental to this life safety in the Somerset community and can not adequately be provided from further afield locations outwith the County area. It is a strategically important capability that the County has had for many years and should continue to have provided by Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service.

Indigo operate a poorly run car park for the demand it gets, and feel it is appropriate to fine staff because they have to park in the "wrong" space. Help NHS staff do their jobs without worrying about paying thousands of pounds in parking fines and cancel any outstanding debt. We should value our NHS workers, not make them re-mortgage their house to pay fines for something they had no choice over. Why should they save someone's life then find they got a parking ticket?

In the local area, the second most deprived in Haringey, there is already a pronounced shortage of childcare provision for children under two with long waiting lists. It is crucial to support working parents between their child’s first and second birthday, and the Triangle Centre with its excellent staff and facilities is well placed to continue offering places to local children. Haringey Council has a responsibility to provide childcare options for working parents by keeping the Nurture Room open and services affordable for all local residents. The changes, if they go ahead, will have a profound adverse effect on many families and their young children, and call into question the long-term sustainability of this nursery at the heart of our local community.

This is important because everyone should have the same basic right to benefit from using public transport. Disabled people should not have to find going on buses difficult or even impossible. Trains already provide pre-booked assistance and announce the names of stations and what platform they will arrive at. I am simply requesting that First Group follows the basic steps I have laid out above so that they can help improve the quality of transport for all people, so that society as a whole can reap the rewards that come from the inclusion of minority groups such as the disabled. I am not asking for preferential treatment for disabled bus passengers, merely that we are enabled to use buses like everyone else. As it stands I, and many other disabled people find it difficult to use buses and either have to rely on the good will of drivers and/or the public or support from friends and family in order to travel. I do not want to make this a one issue cause by only talking about myself, but I will simply give it as an example, due to my visual impairment I cannot rely on sight to see what stop I am at while on the bus so if I am not told in advance I will miss the stop. The saving of £1.6 million would be counterproductive as cutting bus services in Cheshire East will have undesirable consequences and cause distress and inconvenience to many residents. We believe that the following groups would be more adversely affected; the elderly, disabled and infirm, the young and people on low incomes. Getting to work, shops, schools, colleges, doctors, banks, social events and hospital appointments would be made more inaccessible. We also believe that trade in towns and town markets will be affected. The stopping of evening services will have a negative affect on restaurants and pubs and other social groups. We are concerned that the withdrawal of bus services will result in more cars on the road and significant reduction in air quality. Many of the towns and villages are growing in size and as a result we should be given improved services not declining ones.

The proposed closure of the Millbrook Unit has serious implications for the health and wellbeing of thousands of Cheshire East residents across the entire borough and threatens to damage the lives and treatment of so many. Government and council funding cuts have left our local health services stretched to the max, with mental health provision now dangerously poor. The closure of the Millbrook Unit would mean patients and families having to drive over an hour to access the care and treatment they so desperately need and deserve in Chester or on the Wirral.
