We all know that the UK is in the midst of a housing crisis and that there is an acute need for more homes. However, we don’t think this problem will be solved by allowing more small and poorly-designed homes to be built. The UK currently builds the smallest homes in western Europe, which means that many of them are not fit for purpose when fully occupied. A lack of space and the poor design of a home can impact health, well-being, family relationships and even a child’s educational achievement. Adequate space (including storage space) is essential for a home to be comfortable and sustainable in the long term. In 2015 the UK Government introduced the Nationally Described Space Standard. This specified, amongst other things, a minimum floor area for each size of household. It meant that a flat for one person would be of a minimum of 37m2 and a two-storey, 3-bedroomed house for 4 people a minimum of 84m2. However, the Space Standard was not made mandatory and the Government has since proposed relaxing this minimum standard. To have to pay by phone only is discriminatory to anyone who a. Does not own a smartphone b. Does not do transactions through their smartphone for security reasons c: Does not want to be forced to pay a 'booking fee' for technology to buy a ticket which they didn't want in the first place! d. Is not a criminal and has no reason to have their parking actions tracked. These meters are also a disaster for our struggling town and city centres if they prevent customers' parking or impede parking for personal caring duties.

Bramham estate in Leeds wants to sell off Red Flagged Green Belt by exploiting a section of the national planning guidelines referred to as 'very special circumstances'. This allows development on Greenbelt if the profits can be used to fund repairs to listed buildings, improve land elsewhere etc. Which would be fine if this were to benefit the surrounding populace. In this case it does not, as visiting Bramham is severely restricted. Bramham has proposed an open day a year to allow visitors should the plans be approved. So Nick Lane Fox would be using the money for home improvements only he would benefit from. We do not believe Nick Lane Fox and the Bramham estate should be allowed to get away with exploiting this loophole. Which will only cause misery to residents in surrounding villages of Scarcroft, East Keswick, Bardsey and Collingham. Collingham who have recently lost land to another development of many houses. We believe this is a test case of sorts and that should it be approved will open the floodgates to similar developments all over the country. Further to Note: The proposed site for build is located on flood plains that have been seen to flood very regularly and already affect existing properties in recent years many times. Amenities within the area are already stretched to breaking point with schools been full and waiting times at the surgery getting longer. The A58 is stretched to capacity at busy times of the day and the further pressure of 140 house with at least two cars each will only add to the mayhem in mornings and evenings.

This petition is on behalf of all those who live on Warsash Road/Warsash village who would like a safe place to cross the main road. The pelican crossing needs to be installed on the Warsash road/ near Greenaway Lane/Saxon Close towards Warsash Village. This is a busy road, where it is always hard to cross safely without having to either wait for a completely clear road or waiting for somebody to "flash" their headlamps for you to cross. The road has had some nasty accidents over the years involving pedestrians and collisions with vehicles. With a crossing, this will be preventable and the number of accidents on the road will reduce greatly. Over the last couple of years, I have spoken to lots of residents in the area. All agree that there should have been a green man crossing installed a long time ago. A crossing would benefit us all: children and youngsters would feel safe and confident enough to cross the road, and so would parents, those without their own means of transport and the elderly. Having lived here all my life, I know how unsafe I used to feel crossing the road as a child. So, if like me, you would like a safe place to cross the busy Warsash road, please sign the petition! Because of Westminster Council cuts the Stowe Youth Club, 258 Harrow Road, London W2 5ES is being forced to close almost all its services for local young people and lay off its dedicated and experienced staff. The Stowe Centre is a vital facility in Westbourne Ward and neighbouring areas. It is a place where historically young people from the Warwick, Brindley and Amberley Estates and beyond have come for many years to get a break from tough home lives, to take part in activities or just simply have some space. It was once the home to the one of London’s most famous youth football training grounds, known for producing stars like 1980’s Liverpool legend John Barnes. It was also the home of The Cut magazine, written and produced by local young people and created the hit YouTube series Chicken Shop Date as well as a host of other exciting projects. So as from 1st April the Stowe Centre will only be able to provide a replacement one night a week session for 11-19 year olds. This will be nothing near to what use to be provided and is a massive blow to the community and life choices of the young people in the area.

This has to be stopped to stop the loss of life and disruption caused by the terrorists weaponising vehicles. New Vehicle construction regulations are needed which will: (a) Compel all vehicles to be equipped with sensors (Warning sensors) triggered when the presence of people or objects with which a vehicle may collide. (b) Compel all vehicles to be equipped with sensors (Collision Sensors) that will detect if a vehicle has actually collided with a person or object. (c) When Warning Sensors are triggered a vehicle alarm system with responses at graduated levels must be automatically operated. (d) When Collision Sensors are triggered the vehicle must be automatically brought to a halt the duration of which will be automatically graduated in time depending on severity. This will not only prevent Weaponising but also all failure to stop events. This should apply to all new vehicles(Warning sensors) sold in the UK no later than 1st January 2023 and all vehicles on the road by no later than 2025 with a government sponsored car modification scheme. Last night, among hours of coverage, the BBC took ten minutes to retrace the Westminster terrorist's steps in detail over the bridge. This unnecessary reporting reflects how extreme the coverage has been across both TV and newspapers. This hysterical and over-the-top coverage is exactly what terrorists want. It encourages fear and over-reaction. If media agencies can agree to restraint - to report the facts in a concise and unemotional way - then this will be a powerful message to terrorists that no one, not even the media, is going to be swayed by their actions.

These men have already served their country, and still selflessly ran to give aid in the face of danger. Their actions deserve recognition. The George Cross is awarded for "acts of the greatest heroism or of the most conspicuous courage in circumstances of extreme danger."

This policeman gave his life to stop terror it will be a sign we honour his sacrifice and that terror has no place in our lives and proof we are not afraid.
