It is a much valued and popular focus in the shopping centre, for both food and outlet bargains. If the store closes it will mean a very long journey for many locals to access their nearest M&S at Torbay.

Scalpcliff Hill is a Designated Nature Reserve and area of Ancient Woodland with the trees and habitat supporting a number of protected species. The area has been further designated a Site of Biological Importance (SBI) within Staffordshire. The Nature Reserve is a designated Nature Reserve and the wildlife and habitat protected and preserved for future generations to enjoy.

This is a profitable, long-standing, socially important resource for the local community. It provides a good range of products and services, owns it's own lease, and is a much-loved part of a vibrant city with great staff who always make people welcome. There seems to be no economic or social case for its closure.

This is important because closing the toilets is another way to penalise the vulnerable in our communities. For example people with long term health conditions who need to use the toilets regularly will be prevented from entering Burton or Uttoxeter. Closure would also affect families with young children, the elderly, pregnant women and those with disabilities. This could have a negative impact on the confidence of those people affected and more widely to Burton's economy if people feel they can not enter Burton because of the lack of toilets.

Much has already been done to ensure more sustainability in our daily activities, however, there is so much more that can be improved still! Whether a landfill is filled with general household rubbish like food waste and un-recyclable plastics, it is forgotten that this also includes excess clothing produced by a vast fashion retail industry. An estimated 300,000 tons of clothes are sent to landfills in the UK annually! Imagine how many refugees, homeless people and people living in poverty all over the world could benefit from more clothing being donated to charities! With the added bonus of reducing carbon emissions where the clothes would have been burned! Let's follow France's example and make our retail industry more eco-friendly and sustainable!

Through many years and many generations Atherton community centre has been the home of countless football teams of all ages. But recent changes and requirements mean that to be able to enter the league, local football teams must provide somewhere for players to get changed. This means that local Atherton teams are having to travel miles away, to a playing field with changing facilities, to play home games. Taking home games away from Atherton deprives Atherton of its sense of community. As a community we are prepared to fundraise as much as we can for the cost of new changing rooms, but we wish the council would cooperate and help us by at least giving us planning permission. But they have been avoiding giving us an answer. Atherton community centre has been the home of football for Atherton for many years, myself and many other residents would hate to see there be no football teams left in our local area due to the minor requirement of teams having somewhere to get changed. I’m hoping that we can bring back local football to the community of Atherton.

There are plans to develop 1 Creekside into 8 storey block flats. The area is directly across the road from the Birdsnest, currently an MOT garage and open space. Any future residents and the loud music of a long established, well recognised music venue are bound to conflict.

Well, this is the dream of many foreign nationals, who apply for U.K.: - Work Permits and Visas, - Asylum or Refuge Status, - Residency and - Citizenship. Do we treat these people as we’d hope to be treated? Our Goverment can Recreate a UK Immigration Policy which our grandchildren will not look upon with shame, but with pride, as they live within the consequences of our choices.

Under proposals to re-lay the setts in Brighton Place, this main thoroughfare will be closed for 60 weeks and buses re-routed away from Portobello High Street. A consultation carried out by Portobello Community Council showed that more local people support an asphalt (tarmac) road surface. The Council initially agreed to this but then changed their mind, after the adoption of a new policy on setted streets and campaigning by heritage bodies. The setts, when properly laid, look lovely but they just can't cope with the demands of 21st century traffic, including double decker buses and heavy goods vehicles. The 60 week closure will cause great inconvenience to local residents and visitors to Edinburgh"s Seaside. Local traders fear that it could put some of them out of business. An asphalt road surface could be constructed in a fraction of the time at a fraction of the cost - at least half a million pounds less. That money could be better spent - fixing some of Edinburgh's thousands of potholes, for example. Let's look at this again, with a community-led design that delivers a road that works for everyone, that balances heritage with practicality and that doesn't take 60 weeks to complete.

Highland Council Pension Fund currently holds £5.4 million of shares in US arms company, General Dynamics, manufacturer and supplier of the MK-82 1000-lb and MK-84 2000-lb bombs that were used with such devastating effect by Israel against the people of Gaza during ‘Operation Protective Edge’ in 2014. Because of their ‘wide area effect’, the use of these weapons was condemned by the UN Human Rights Council as violating ‘the prohibition of indiscriminate attacks’; more thn 2,000 people, including at least 500 children, were killed as a consequence of the bombing of one of the world’s most densely populated areas. Highland Council Pensions Fund acquisitions are subject to explicit 'social, environmental and ethical considerations'. It is the duty of public institutions to uphold international law and human rights norms, and it is completely unacceptable that, through its pension fund, Highland Council should finance their ongoing violation! It’s time for Highland Council to examine its conscience, put its principles into practice and follow its own guidelines on ethical investment by divesting itself of its shares in General Dynamics.

The car park is at the main entrance to the stadium.its full of pot holes and uneven .We need it fixed for our older and disabled fans to walk on , and for car parking.
