Save 4 Plymouth GP PracticesThese four practices set to be closed are all in the worst off areas of the city. These changes will certainly widen the already huge health inequalities in the city. NHS England say that small practices are "unsustainable" and that there is nothing that can be done to keep them open. This is wrong and based on a "market" view of healthcare. Instead NHSE must work with communities and providers to find innovative ways to keep GP surgeries viable in the areas of greatest need. The decision has been made without the without proper consultation, important decisions such as this should take patients and communities voices into account.975 of 1,000 SignaturesCreated by Richard Ayres

Save our "Around Poplar Children's Centre"Why we need to save "Around Poplar Children's Centre" - The centre is the hub, bringing together hundreds of parents and providing invaluable services to people of diverse social and economic backgrounds. - The centre has created a friendly, supportive, welcoming environment for parents who can share their concerns, worries and seek guidance from experienced staff - The centre provides not only children play sessions, but vital services such as health assessments, midwifery and psychotherapy, advice on domestic abuse, getting back to work, as well as important workshops on introducing healthy eating and sleeping habits to the youngest members of Tower Hamlet’s community - It is an indispensable resource, helping new mothers beat post-natal depression, loneliness and isolation. - Keeping this centre open will save money by reducing many GP visits. - At this time of unprecedented development and population growth on the isle of dogs, there has never been a greater demand for this facility for new parents in the area. - In fact it is so busy that several times I have been unable to get in because it was so busy. - The staff in the centre, their knowledge and dedication to childcare, supporting parents in bringing up healthy, confident children is second to none As a new mum, with a premature baby girl, the first six weeks were stressful. Then I discovered the Poplar Children Centre, and the caring, knowledgeable and supportive staff who are always on hand with crucial advice and who have made such a difference for me. My baby is now coming up for 14 months old and we visit the centre 3 times a week. We both love the social activities with other babies and mums. The centre has been key in our physical and emotional well being. Meeting other mums at the centre has been an enormous support too, and I have a great sense of belonging to this community of friends. The centre provides facilities that money can’t buy and it is hard to imagine a better alternative.270 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Petra Meinlova

Pedestrian Hazards in AldeburghWith the high proportion of elderly and/or infirm residents, added to the increasing population of mothers with baby carriages, the condition of the pavements in the Leiston Road and Victoria Road areas are extremely poor and liable to cause trips, falls and damage to persons and personal property. In particular the pavement on the east side of Leiston Road from The Drift to Mariners Way and on the south side of Victoria Road from the entrance to Kings field to the junction with Park Road, at the library, are main routes to both the supermarkets, and the town centre for residents of the Plantation estate, especially the supported bungalows.3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by MICHAEL FISHLOCK

Stop companies making millions on social housingPeople who have paid their rent, paid their bills never caused any issues being forced out of their homes by greedy companies making millions by buying social housing then re renting them back to local councils who then use them to house homeless people. So effectively making people homeless to house the homeless302 of 400 SignaturesCreated by Tony Roberts

Regulation in the gaming industryIt is important because far to often now games are getting released half finished or broken at launch, and in some cases a complete fabrication of the advertising prior to release.22 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Craig Snedden

Free Parking for Carers to the elderly and disabledCarers have very little time to make their visits, they earn very little and often have to pay parking fines (as well as petrol costs) for a long journey to half hour job. And not least, their clients suffer if the care is rushed. This lack of parking facility causes a lot of stress to both carer and client.113 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Hulya Salahi

Dangerous Crossing at Taylor Wimpey Bourne ViewAs you can see on the site plan:- https://www.taylorwimpey.co.uk/find-your-home/england/oxfordshire/hook-norton/bourne-view Bourne Lane takes a sharp turn at the North end leading to Sibford Road (and Hook Norton Primary School). It is a blind corner and very dangerous, especially in dark/wet/icy conditions. At present (Novemeber 2016) there are no road markings for drivers, and the pavement you have provided is too narrow. The pavement is also overgrown and cut off by bollards making the small crossing area impossible to use. Pedestrians are currently putting themselves at risk to get across the road. This is the route many residence use to walk our children to/from school and concerns are growing as the days become darker and the weather takes a turn into winter. We would like this issue resolved before an accident occurs. Prevention rather than cure. The residence would be happy to walk a Manager of the site through the area of note and discuss the solution to this serious matter. We look forward to your swift response.109 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Nina Frere

Support Disabled object to benefit changes for support group claimants. These plans stem from REFORM and the Green Paper https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/work-health-and-disability-improving-lives/work-health-and-disability-green-paper-improving-lives You can further object to these plans here https://consultations.dh.gov.uk/workandhealth/consult/ The consultation ends February 2017.It is not clear what the Government's timetable for rolling out these changes are.I have heard reports that some disabled people are already being assigned to work coaches. The government has announced plans to employ a further 500 advisors( to work as work coaches).Trials are intended to go ahead next year when a certain number of claimants of the support group will be asked to attend work coach sessions. We have information that charities are being invited to work for the DWP.The mental health charity MIND have expressed an interest. http://mentalhealthresistance.org/ The government proposes to reduce the benefits of the severely disabled and to subject them to a punitive regime whereby they are forced to aim towards finding work whether they are able to or not. They will be forced to be subject to conditionality whereby they get paid benefits on condition that they attend work coach sessions ,if they do attend their benefits will be cut to JSA levels and governments propose that they can then be subject to sanctions like many unemployed people who are not ill suffer under already. This will affect seriously ill and disabled people, some of whom already are being found wrongly fit for work and have committed suicide. This is inhumane and violent treatment and abuse of incapacitated people. We cannot allow this nor allow the government to dress these proposals up as support for the disabled or any form of empowerment. It is designed to reduce the welfare budget by 12 billion and is part of government strategy to dismantle the welfare state. It is extreme far right policy not Conservatism. Please object to this and get all your friends to object to it. I am one of those affected by these changes, I am physically and mentally disabled having many chronic illnesses like diabetes and hypothyroidism and a mental illness and a spinal misalignment, I am also currently being investigated for possible uterine cancer. I cannot survive on JSA or work and any employer would consider me unemployable. Here is a link to a short video where Charlotte Pickles unveils the plans to attack disabled people and cut their financial support. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6p6iBqsuiyk4,416 of 5,000 SignaturesCreated by Katie Nikiforou

Save Derby Central Library From ClosingThe people of Derby can't always afford a computer, nor they do not all like to read books online. Also it is a great location where the library is placed anyway, and always good friendly staff at the library. The Derby Telegraph says: "The Derby Central Library could close in a shake-up of plans for the city's libraries... Derby City Council is hoping to save £648,000 by changing the way libraries are run. It has drawn up a series of options on how to go about it and one, which it is understood is the preferred option, is to close the Central Library and replace it with Riverside Library."3,379 of 4,000 SignaturesCreated by Rob Fisher

UN FINDINGS - GRAVE VIOLATIONS OF INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS & DISCRIMINATION BY UK GOVAs per the UN Findings, Grave Violations is serious and it appears Ministers / MPs think they can merely dismiss. Large numbers of people have been seriously affected by policies and measures, cuts and 'austerity'. Lives have been lost and many more are extremely suffering, distressed at how they will keep a roof over head or put food on the table and so on. It has also been observed that there is a great unfairness in that Corporations and the rich have tax cuts, banks were previously bailed out, MPs claim expenses for second homes and there is a trait of 'Government mates' deals by Conservative Government. It is also observed in such matters that management consultants are employed unnecessarily, that charge the public purse excessive amounts for template reports on how councils can make cuts - yet this was exposed recently by BBC 2 under 'Who's Spending Britain's Billions'. Plus there are unknown expenditures on systems with pretend aim to save monies, that cost more (on the face of things). What this reflects is the constant attacks on the poor or sick and disabled or low income families should have been avoided. Had the focus been on retrieving unpaid taxes by tax 'dodgers' and we believe HMRC had stated £34 Billion uncollected tax as a total, you can see there was a great imbalance when discriminating with those policies that the UN deems to have breached Human Rights and Discriminated against protected groups.1,432 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by T R

Save Foxley Lane Women's Service from being closed downFoxley Lane Women's Service is an extremely valuable service that acts as an alternative to an acute clinical admission that Gresham 1 provides. Foxley Lane provides weekly therapeutic timetable of activities that supports recovery from mental health crisis. This unparalleled service provides support, assessment, treatment and care for women in crisis from staff that are dedicated and passionate about the care they give. With the closure of this service; women in crisis the alternatives will be admission to an acute ward on Gresham 1 at the Bethlem Royal Hospital. Gresham 1 can be noisy, threatening and scary with many patients struggling with an acute episode of psychosis. For women trying to recovery from a mental health crisis, Gresham 1 can cause further distress and for many women being discharged from Gresham they can and do leave more damaged than when they were admitted. A another alternative being offered is home treatment which for many wouldn’t be an option as it can be home life that caused the relapse into crisis in the first place Unfortunately, due primarily to lack of funding and changes to mental health services in Croydon, the Croydon CCG have made the decision to decommission Foxley Lane. This follows Croydon Health recently going into special measures due to poor finances. Many of the service users that have had been a patient at Foxley recognise that the treatment and care provided is the best environment for women in crisis to recover. Many have stated that Foxley Lane has saved their lives. Fitment of Vehicle Daytime REAR LIGHTSDue to shorter daylight hours in Scandinavia, vehicles there have been fitted with Front Daytime Running Lights. These have recently been introduced on all new vehicles sold in the European Union vehicles. Unfortunately, REAR TAIL Lights ARE NOT SIMULTANEOUSLY ACTIVATED! This leads to vehicles being driven in darkness without tail lights, their drivers believing that their tail lights are lit because they see their Front Daytime Running Lights illuminated. I have recently e-mailed Ms. Dianne Abbott, my constituency MP and the Shadow Home Secretary abotu this matter, but I am still awaiting her response.6 of 100 SignaturesCreated by PAUL SINGER
