Restore the Village of Summerseat LancsAccess for all in and out of the village vehicles is one small road that runs passed the primary school. Children's safety is a major concern as there is no footpath on this road to the school, a bus service manages to run a small service that does not reach all residents in particular our Senior Citizens. The road is impassable when it does arrive, as it is for all other essential services such as Ambulance, Police and Fire. The dreadful state of repair of the one main road will become a further problem at the first sign of snow. The village again experienced a further flood to the road and several residents properties again were affected. Incidents involving speeding, discourteous drivers have been reported, it is a matter of time before a serious accident could occur. Please show your support and sign.649 of 800 SignaturesCreated by Denny McAllister

Altering the rights of tennants in temporary accommodationIt is important as the shortage in housing means that people are having to remain in temporary accommodation longer however they are not getting the same treatment and entitled to the same rights as those in short term or long term tennancies, for example repairs are substandard and they are suffering with a lack of standard thermal comfort.4 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Anita Shaw

abolish Work Capability Assessments as inhumane and degradingIt impacts on the mental health and wellbeing of so many claimants who have long term illness, disabilities or mental health issues. Article 3 of the Human Rights Act states that it is illegal to subject people to inhumane or degrading treatment. Althoughno causal link between Work capability assessments, deaths and suicides can be categorically proven , there is evidence of hundreds of deaths for people subject to benefit sanctions made after these assessments . Endthis inhumane practice now! Call upon the PM to abolish these degradinginhumane assessments now53 of 100 SignaturesCreated by karen ward

Rural Safe School Routes RSSR (Glenavy)This area has become increasingly populated with young families and children. Our children are forced to walk, cross and attempt to make school Transportation in a highly dangerous and om some of the most dangerous pedestrian areas in N.I. There are cars speeding up to 80mph on these roads, and the village doesn't contain one safe passage way for a child. Children are walking and crossing on blind bend's, nonpaved roads and blind spots upro a horrendous 8 times per day with out so much as a pedestrian crossing yet still expected to reach there school transportation in the village Main Street safely. This is particularly unfair for disadvantaged families who have no transportation, are disabled or have disabled children. I wish to raise awareness around my child making it to school everyday alive and that ofnorhers or a safer alternative put in place.as a temporary measure immediately.139 of 200 SignaturesCreated by DEBORAH MCGARRITY

UK Citizens for the Rights and Dignity of all US CitizensIn the current post-Brexit climate of uncertainty the UK Government will be seeking opportunities for beneficial trade deals with the US under Trump. This threatens to condone Trump's racist, Islamophobic and sexist policies in the eyes of the world. Diplomatic relations between the UK and US must be used to check Trump's maverick disregard for the equal rights and dignity of all US citizens and, at the same time, send a clear message in the UK (and throughout the world) that sexism and racism will not be tolerated by advanced democratic nations. Trump may have been voted in, but votes do not trump human rights.6 of 100 SignaturesCreated by kate Dunton

Keep Elections HonestIt has become increasingly obvious that those seeking political office or power and the media cannot be relied upon to fairly and accurately represent the facts to win their arguments. This polarised exaggeration has now reached the stage where it becomes increasingly impossible for people to make an informed choice on issues essential to the wellbeing and future of our society. I propose that new legislation be introduce to limit the malicious use of false statements to further agenda’s in public office or debate, while it is a fundamental principal that free speech is an essential aspect of modern society checks and balances must be borough in to address the increasing tendencies to exaggerate or make up facts to win elections. Malice the desire to harm someone; ill will. Law wrongful intention, especially as increasing the guilt of certain offences. I propose the definition be expanded to include the desire to harm another argument, wilfully putting forward false facts or failing to check facts pertinent to a proposition would become a crime and there should be consequence’s for wilfully doing so, the use of these strategies to win an election should also be sufficient grounds to declare the election void and any results invalid. In our modern age it is quite reasonable to insist large media campaigns perform with integrity and that the current trend for excessive false statement’s be challenged. Please do not respond with anything implying The Seven principles of public life (that were first set out in 1995 by Lord Nolan, the founding Chairman of the Committee on Standards in Public Life) cover this, as they obviously are not working and are not being enforced. Any basis of ethical standards expected of holders of public office MUST be backed with legislation or are meaningless plattitudes brough up to avoid the serious underlying issues threatening our democracy.4 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Cliff Askey

Save the Mad Hatter's Tea RoomThe Mad Hatters Tea Room at Derby's Alvaston Park is due to close. Derby City Council has decided not to renew its lease because the authority wants to take it "in house". This will effect greatly the people of Alvaston who use this facility and of course undo a great deal of work carried out by our volunteers at the 'Alvaston Park Friends' in particular who have worked tirelessly to get our fantastic park to green flag standard, we need to fight this and keep the Mad hatter cafe under private management. We're worried that if the council take over the lease there will be a drop in quality and the prices will go up. Given all the cuts that are happening in Derby right now (toilets closing, the water feature and more) we're worried that the council could end up closing the cafe.2,254 of 3,000 SignaturesCreated by Brian Farthing

Amazon: Provide fair pay and conditions for your staffTo prevent the undermining of living standards and conditions of workers in the UK From the BBC: "Amazon delivery drivers regularly work "illegal" hours and receive less than the minimum wage, it has been claimed. Drivers for agencies contracted by the internet giant told an undercover reporter they were expected to deliver up to 200 parcels a day. Some admitted breaking speed limits to stay on schedule, while others said time was not allowed for toilet breaks." The government tells us that employment figures are doing well, but don't explain that many jobs are zero hours with low and minimum pay rates. This situation undermines workers ability to plan and budget and in many cases causes hardship. The situation with Amazon is at the hard end of this, causing social and financial hardship. The law needs to be changed so that people work for Amazon, thus gaining employee rights, with adequate breaks, holidays and decent pay.2,022 of 3,000 SignaturesCreated by Dianne Jackson
