Make Labour NEC respect Democracy and allow FAIR voting in the Leadership electionThe actions of the NEC are so undemocratic they do not belong in this country. All across society they have excluded members and supports with bitter choices. This cannot be allowed to go on in The Labour Party.429 of 500 SignaturesCreated by Mel Trowsdale

Suspend primary testing in Yr2 and Yr6 for 2017.We believe that the DfE is damaging the mental health of children through its excessive testing and is devaluing education by promoting rote learning of age-inappropriate grammatical concepts. If we do not suspend tests this year then we are setting our children up to fail by forcing them to be part of a system that does not consider them individuals, but instead data on a page to be analysed. We are creating children who are stifled and demotivated due to continuous and unnecessary teaching to the test. We are setting schools up to fail and leaving them open to academisation. • The focus on the EU referendum has meant little focus on education – we are about to face the same situation as in 2016 again with our children potentially labelled as failures due to tests which are inappropriate and demoralised teachers forced to teach a curriculum they feel is wrong. • The new tests have been developmentally inappropriate for the age groups involved. Children have been set up to fail. Thus supporting the Government’s plans for academising all schools. 47% of children ‘failed’ Yr 6 SATs this year. • English children are the most tested in Europe. • Mental health experts and teachers agree that excessive testing is harming our children. • Testing has become ‘high stakes’ due to pressure on teachers as tests are linked to performance related pay. • The testing structure in 2016 was filled with flaws including leaked papers. • The NAHT have called for a ‘complete overhaul’ of the current system, supported by a motion carried by 99.6% of delegates. • The NUT described the situation as a ‘car crash’. • 97% of teachers surveyed by the NUT agree or strongly agree that preparation for the SATs has had a negative impact on children’s access to a broad and balanced curriculum. • 90% of teachers surveyed think that changes to primary assessment this year have had a negative impact on children’s experience at school. Expressing the damage that the new system has done to pupils, teachers write of demoralisation, demotivation, and physical and mental distress – effects, they predict, will be lasting. We want teachers, unions and mental health experts to be able to work together with the Government to create a curriculum that encourages our children to develop inquiring minds and a love of learning. This takes time... We are very concerned that adequate time has not been taken in the current political climate to ensure another assessment ‘car crash’ does not take place in 2017.20,515 of 25,000 SignaturesCreated by LetTheKids BeKids

Please grant amnesty to illegal immigrants who are already in the UKUK has voted out of the EU and needs all hands to contribute to the national development. If illegal immigrants who are already in the United Kingdom are granted amnesty, they will play a major role in the development of the country. An amnesty could yield an additional millions of Pound Sterling a year of Income Tax and National Insurance receipts. Granting an amnesty to the illegal immigrants who are already in the country will bring them out of the shadows and into the real economy and they can contribute to the tax system. In the process of granting an amnesty, they will pay fines so the legalisation will not be dependant on a taxpayers’ money and it will be self-sustained, and also to have a proper criminal checks. The case of amnesty extends beyond economics. It is also a human thing to do. Regularising status to illegal immigrants avoid vulnerability exploitation and destitution as well as avoid creating a situation in which they are more likely to be pushed into the black economy. In extreme cases, illegal immigrants can slip into sexual exploitation and forced labour. The Prime Minister, Theresa May said , the government she leads will be driven not by the interests of the privileged few but promised to give more control over everyone's life in the country. Illegal immigrants really want to take up jobs to support themselves, their families and the national development but they are unable to do so as their lives are restricted in a multicultural country where the whole world look up to due to resident permit. Please grant amnesty to these illegal immigrants who are already in the country to live a normal life and to contribute substantially to the national economy.100,912 of 200,000 SignaturesCreated by Beatrice Amoako

Recognise the importance of the Labour Women's ConferenceIain McNicol General Secretary for Labour NEC has agreed that the leadership announcement conference will take place on 24th September 2016. He has done this knowing that it will overshadow the only yearly Labour Women's Conference which takes place on the same day and was planned well in advance of this leadership contest. He is undermining the importance of this conference to the moral and confidence Women members have in the Labour Party's ability to understand their needs and recognition of their achievements.163 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Samantha Harkins

Fair pay for allJust as it is important to know where our consumer goods come from, how they have been produced, the safety of these goods, their quality, the contents of our food, so is the fairness of staff pay. The recent economic crises have been driven by the scandals in the financial services, their remuneration has not been effectively criticised and curbed by the share holders and there is not enough transparency to allow a public debate about the fairness of pay in these service industries and in the general economy. What people earn should be transparent in order to allow public scrutiny over the fairness of pay. The same applies to other industries: supermarkets, multinationals, entertainment industries, like the BBC, sports and charities. The highest earners seem to believe in their entitlement to an ever larger slice of the national earnings, and even convince the public that this is reasonable. A public debate about fair pay is what is needed. Please note that the figures on income distribution published by the UK government exclude information from the financial services. That is why these services should be included in these new legal requirements. In the long run these data can be used to measure the relative fairness of companies, leading to league tables much like league tables for schools and universities, or leading to a Charter mark like Fair Trade or labelling of food items in the supermarket. This could also be rolled out internationally leading to fairer pay in the world.19 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Joseph Kerkvliet

RecyclingWe as a nation are not doing enough to solve the recycling problem. Individuals on a low income cannot often afford to do what is required. If the proposals were put in place it would help everyone recycle and improve the country's carbon footprint.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Paula Priest

Tell FC Barcelona not to take Qatar Airways as their sponsor and have them #swaptheshirtAbout 2.2 million people live in Qatar, about 1.4 million people are migrant workers, most of them are from South Asian countries. The biggest expat group are Indians whose numbers are about 500,000. There are about 400,000 people from Nepal working in the country. They are all subject to the Kafala system, which is widely acknowledged as a form of modern slavery. In March 2016 Amnesty International reported that some 132 workers building the Khalifa Stadium and The Aspire Zone are being actively exploited. They also report that at least 1,200 workers from India and Nepal alone have died in Qatar since 2010, based on figures released by the local embassies of both countries. Laborer Jaleshwar Prasad, 48, fell unconscious in May 2016 while performing steel work at Al Bayt stadium. Prasad is the third Indian employed on a World Cup site to die of a heart attack in the last six months. Qatar’s Supreme Committee says there have been no work-related fatalities on World Cup sites, but law firm DLA Piper, in a review for the government in 2013, found evidence of dozens of work-related deaths across Qatar among migrant labourers from South Asia. tomaszakrocki2003.wix.com/qatarairways11 of 100 SignaturesCreated by jamie kelsey

Save Fonseca’s seed flyPlans for a 236 hectare golf course at Coul Links near Dornoch in the Scottish Highlands could put one of Scotland’s rarest species at threat of global extinction. Fonseca’s seed fly is restricted globally to a short stretch of coast in northern Scotland. Its population is perilously small and is thought to be closely associated with Ragwort, Sow-thistle and the sand dune systems found in this area. The proposed golf course would destroy important habitat for this species and fragment the already fragile population. Stabilisation of the dunes and creation of fairways and greens will destroy the habitat for the species.3,672 of 4,000 SignaturesCreated by Paul Hetherington

LET US KEEP OUR CATSThis year me and my two daughters have faced being homeless, due to divorce and the order of the sale of our family home. My Mum died after battling cancer in March and my Dad passed away unexpectedly in his sleep less than 3 months later. We are currently in emergency council accommodation and are part of the bidding process for a property. Each landlord, whether social or private sector have different rules about allowing pets. Some allow pets, some don't. Our cats are not just our pets, they are part of our family. We have three rescue cats, Dave, Twizzell and PomPom, who found their forever home with us. Dave was abandoned in a car park, PomPom was badly treated and Twizzell was thrown into a river. Having our cats teaches the girls, love, caring and sensitivity to other living beings. To have to get rid of them only teaches them that life is dispensable. They have lost their grandparents, their home, to face losing the family pets that they love and care for will cause them more distress and emotional suffering. We have been through enough losses this year, and now face having to choose between a home or our cats. This surely is against our human rights?434 of 500 SignaturesCreated by Natalie Hegarty

Stop the Misleading Sun NewspaperThe Sun newspaper is part of News Corp - Rupert Murdoch's media corporation. As such it is not only highly biased but has often published inaccurate, misleading or false information. It has recently been censored on several counts by the press watchdog the IPSO and ordered to publish corrections. • It promoted racial hatred by falsely claiming 1 in 5 British Muslims support jihadis. • A piece about Unite - Britain's biggest trade union was found to have 10 separate inaccuracies in just 1 article. • It encouraged animosity between football fans by printing falsehood about Liverpool supporters at the Hillsborough disaster. • It's owner has a direct audience and influence within the Tory leadership. • It advocated the use of gunships to stop refugees. • It has even put words in the queen's mouth by saying she was pro Brexit. Despite all this it has faced no real consequences and continues to spread misinformation, for example: about anti-semitism within the Labour party. Whilst we believe in freedom of the press, the people deserve media outlets that report accurately on their world so they can make informed choices as citizens. Lies should have no place in UK media. The Sun is lying to people en masse. We believe that the Co-op as one of the most ethical shops on our streets should lead the way in holding the Sun to account.130 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Benjamin Jude
