Energy Expropriation?Following the extortionate increases in energy costs, it is clear that those who took government advice and invested in solar/wind power, to assist in the transition to ‘green’ energy are being forced into losses by a disproportionate difference in the unit charge for energy by energy company and homeowner. Having been told my solar would “pay for itself” it is clear that it will not. The increases made by energy companies has not been seen as a comparable increase for homeowners. As governments and energy companies around the World profess to be interested in reducing carbon and waste of energy, it would seem only right that those ‘investing’ in the efforts to improve the Planet should be suitably and effectively recompensed for their involvement. Fairness and a willingness to assure a like for like remittance for each and every unit of energy, transferred to ‘the grid’, should be automatically due. It is imperative that society can feel protected, and supported in their efforts to contribute to the future of our environment. Any suggestion of malpractice or discrimination can only serve to undermine government efforts to provide a better climate, for us all.7 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Andrew Whaley-Coates

Make all classified unnumbered and unclassified roads a 20mph speed limitDue to the increasing number of electric cars that are quiet, pedestrians, wildlife and domestic pets cannot hear them. For safety reasons, I think all residential roads (not A and B roads) should be a maximum speed of 20mph11 of 100 SignaturesCreated by CarolineJane Tipping

UK Government: Find the missing child migrantsDear Mr Jenrick There are currently between 150 and 200 missing child migrants in this country. These are children directly under the responsibility of the state. They are missing from hotels and accommodation where they've been placed by the Home Office. They either do not have adult family members in this country to look for them or, these adults are detained, without recourse to funds, advocacy, local intelligence or any form of enablement and support to do so. If this number of British children had gone missing from government care in the last year, there would be a national outcry and you would no doubt be thinking carefully about your position. How can we treat children from other nations any differently once they are within the UK? What does this say about us as a nation? Please confirm that you will make finding these children, who are now highly vulnerable to modern slavery and abuse, the number one priority of your time in office. Please confirm that plans to find these children will shortly be debated in parliament and then acted upon. Children often go missing but most are found again with a short time. There are currently between 150 and 200 child migrants missing within the UK without language skills, without local knowledge, often without parents able to look for them. They are highly vulnerable to human trafficking, modern slavery, and other forms of abuse. We wouldn't stand for this if they were British children. How can we stand for any children at risk like this within our shores?9 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Rosalie Faithfull

The Government must keep triple lock on state pensionsThe triple lock was part of the Conservative Manifesto and was set aside for April this year due to exceptional circumstances. That was unacceptable, the lock was to deal with exceptional circumstances. The Pensions were increased by 3.2% the rate of inflation, but pay increased by 8%. The rate of inflation has since increased dramatically making the 3.2% a cut in real terms. Pensioners should be receiving an increase to match inflation, they are the most vulnerable in that they are on a fixed income and have no way of increasing the amount they receive by doing overtime. Please see sense and also carry out your manifesto pledge that was so rudely set aside last time. The triple lock affects us all. You may not be a pensioner yet but any increases now will be waiting for you when you do retire. We have one of the least generous state pensions in the OECD, coming 26th out of 36 countries (ref Pensions: International comparisons - commons library research) This is shocking for what should be considered a first-world country. Ensure our old age people get a fair deal as the manifesto promised.4 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Paul Ross

STOP THE BEDROOM TAXWe have a serious cost of living crisis, the poor cannot afford to even pay for food & heating, yet they are paying a bedroom tax, to keep a roof over their heads. They are going to food banks in this rich country. Yet £60 To £80 Per Month, could feed these people. Plus help them to keep warm during the winter months. The bedroom tax needs to be abolished. It’s dead money to pay out, for people who are struggling to afford to live. We have a serious cost of living crisis, a recession. This is just adding to the stress and or mental health, plus disabled people who seriously cannot afford to pay their bedroom tax, but who have to pay, to keep a roof over their heads. It’s a very cruel tax, especially as we are all suffering from a cost of living crisis problem.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Christine Maguire

NHS Coil Removal Waiting Times Are As Long As A YearSince the summer I have been making contact with my local GP to book an appointment to have my current coil (expiring in November) replaced. I was made aware by female family/friends that I should make contact with my GP as far in advance as possible as the waiting list for the coil is extremely long. After calling my GP in the summer I was told that I had made contact too early and I should call again one/two months in advance to book in. I followed these instructions and was eventually added to the coil waiting list in September. After chasing up my case in October and then again in early November I was informed by the administrator in charge of the 'Coil waiting list' on both occasions that she could still not offer me an appointment as there are still no slots available. I raised my concern about the fact my coil is now expiring in a matter of weeks and as a result I wouldn't be protected from getting pregnant unless my husband and I use condoms. The clinician advised that there is nothing she could do about getting me an appointment any earlier as the waiting list is very long and there are only two practitioners who take appointments for the coil. I asked if she could give me any sort of time frame as to how long I would have to continue with my expired coil and she couldn't give me an answer. In an attempt to be proactive, I made contact with my local Sexual Health Clinic to enquire if I could make an appointment with them to have my coil removed. They informed me that this is not a service they offer anymore and I needed to make an appointment with my GP. I have since researched the 'NHS coil waiting list' and found that it can be as long as 6 months to a year women have to wait to have their coil removed. More clinicians in GP practice need to become qualified to take appointments relating to the coil. The 'NHS coil waiting list' is an issue directly related to female empowerment. The current system within the NHS is completely ineffective and has personally left me feeling completely out of control of my own body. Choosing the correct method of contraception is an extremely important issue that every woman in the UK goes through at some point during their life. As a married woman in my late 20's, I am settled with a long term partner but not yet ready to start a family. The coil is the correct method of contraception for me at this stage of my life, however I am unable to access it. Furthermore I have a coil that will be expiring imminently and I am unable to book an appointment to have it removed in time, and there is absolutely no time scale that can be provided by my GP as to when I will get an appointment. Women in the UK should not have to wait for this ridiculous amount of time to gain access to contraception. Not only is the process of trying to get an appointment for the coil emotionally draining and exasperating, it is unbelievable that we are in 2022 and women in this country are left to feel completely out of control in matters to do with their own body.74 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Sarah Parker

No child should have to pay to attend school or college in HertfordshireI am asking all local parents to support this cause. As if it is agreed then this will help every parent to either purchase more food or be able to use the electricity and gas more. Therefore, improving the quality of every child's life.
