New police station for Sutton-in-AshfieldAs residents of Sutton-in-Ashfield and surrounding areas, we want a properly funded and resourced police station with more officers on the streets. Due to Conservative cuts and mismanagement by the Ashfield Independent led administration, crimes in Sutton have risen 22% and we have lost 34 police officers in the area. This has had a severe impact on the area locally and has left local people having to wait longer for responses and has led to increased levels of anti-social behaviour. We have also seen drugs and burglary related problems develop in surrounding areas such as Stanton Hill, Teversal and Skegby. This is only possible through a new police station for Sutton-in-Ashfield which is properly staffed and resourced. Local people are fed up with the rising levels of crime in Sutton and surrounding areas. Everyone should feel safe in their community and the best way to do that is to introduce a new police station in Sutton.47 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Daniel Shearer

Stop the Stamp ExpiryPeople have better things to do with their time than round up all their existing old stamps, complete a form and submit them for new style stamps. Many people will have bulk bought in order to protect themselves from future price rises, on the understanding that they would be valid forever. Now Royal Mail is moving the goal posts by making them expire and has wasted a vast sum of money organising an exchange system and producing publicity; this at a time when the organisation is making a loss. People should not be forced to waste time exchanging their stamps, making sure they have submitted them all and then being in a situation where they find some after the expiry date and they are worthless.40 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Toby Harling

Ban the sale of all fireworks that are not low-noiseFirework noise distresses animals, both domestic and livestock. It can also be upsetting for humans. In many communities, autumn fireworks can be heard nightly for a week or more. Let's make only low-noise fireworks available to buy. Alternatively, or as well, restrict firework sales to public bodies for use at safe municipal displays.3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Vicki Harris

Sunak go to COP27COP27 at Sharm al Sheikh is potentially the last chance for the world's nations to come together to massively reduce CO2 emissions in the coming years, and therefore to prevent the coming climate catastrophe that we are already seeing in floods, droughts, heat waves making human life impossible. UK has taken a lead in this at last year's Glasgow summit, please sustain the UK's leading role in the struggle against catastrophic climate change.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Robert Tollemache

NHS to prioritise carer needsDear Steve, I am a carer for my father who has terminal lymphoma. At every touch point within the NHS the objective of avoiding hospital admissions when possible is highlighted. I am also keen to avoid this as on the last two admissions to our local hospital Arrowe Park, Wirral, he came out in a worse condition than when he came in - a story for another time. With this in mind I was highly disappointed with the treatment I received whilst trying to get an out of hours prescription for migraine medication I desperately needed. This medication would have cured my migraine within an hour. I used NHS 111 - the front line staff were excellent, as were the clinicians. However the GP service was unacceptable. The first contact prescribed the wrong drugs and the second was unable to handle the fact that I was raising my voice due to extreme pain, sleep deprivation and frustration. When she accused me of harassment I had to hang up to protect myself from exploding. I deal with frustrated people on regularly as a mental health advocate. I have the skill set to manage their behaviour. This woman did not in any way shape or form. Finally the last GP I spoke to revealed that the first "doctor" i spoke to was actually a nurse and that as a nurse he did not count her as one of his colleagues!!! Out dated beyond belief. As it was I had a migraine from 11pm Friday until 6pm Sunday. My symptoms are very severe. I can't move out of a dark room. I can't keep fluids or food down and I am at high risk of not being able to keep down the medication to manage my own illness, bipolar disorder. If this happened my own risk of hospital admission is very high. If the first doctor had prescribed the correct drugs as discussed I would have been fine by Saturday 10am not Sunday evening. This failure cost me £250 in additional care and meant I lost valuable "me" time. It would have been avoided if my needs had been prioritised in allocation of GP out of hours time. Each 111 staff member and clinician understood that because I was ill, the person I was caring for was vulnerable and at risk of hospital admission. Luckily I have the means to employ extra support. Many carers do not have this luxury. If you could raise this issue as a matter of urgency I would be extremely grateful. Many thanks Briony Davies15 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Bri Davies

The Prime Minister MUST attend COP27 UN Climate SummitWe have all seen the effects of increasing temperatures here in the UK. Our weather is more volatile, as evidenced by the increasing number of floods, droughts, storms and heatwaves we are suffering. This is replicated all over the world and people are dying from the inaction, when there is overwhelming evidence of the man-made nature of the threat. We can mitigate it and adapt to the consequences, but we must act now. We need our Prime Minister to lead the UK negotiating team at COP27 and ensure the UK meets the commitments it made in The Paris Agreement.7 of 100 SignaturesCreated by John Leitch
