We truly believe that a skatepark in the village will give children, teens and parents a place to gather and bond over a passion or potential interest in skating or bmx. Currently, we have 3 play parks and none of them are suitable for the needs of older children. They are for younger children yet as older children have no where else to go, the equipment is taken over by older kids. My 2 year old often will not play as ‘big kids’ are on the play equipment. We need a space in the village that is designed to entertain our older children. They need an outlet that is designed for them and there needs; Somewhere they can learn new skills and challenge themselves. A skate park is exactly that. It caters for skate, bmx & rollerblading. All of which are sports that help develop balance, determination, stamina and resilience. It also encourage team spirit and a sense of belonging. If you pull off a trick you have been working on for some time, the whole park is elated! We are guilty in cottingham of caring only about our elders but it is our children who need more of a place in the community. Let’s give them what they need, want and deserve. I want to see my children thrive and have fun in my village, not in someone else’s.

It’s important because we want our children to have a Welsh education but you are throwing obstacles in our way making us doubt choosing our schools.£130.20 for a child upfront is a lot of money, some people have 2/3/4 children and are still being made to pay this cost per child. It’s a 30 minute walk and the route is not a safe one for young children to get to school safely.

Whatever one's view of the debacle that has occurred during our presence in Afghanistan, it is the least we should be doing to help those to saftey whose lives are now enadangered We should not just abandon them to the fate of the Taliban for aiding the UK forces and other allies

On the 1st January 2021 the UK was downgraded to Part 2 Listed Status for pet travel into the EU requiring getting a single travel Animal Health Certificate (AHC) from a vet at a typical cost of £190 (60 pages long!) so as to demonstrate that the animal does not have rabies. The ridiculous paradox is that, unlike mainland Europe, the Uk is free of rabies and the AHC is even needed for travel to Northern and Southern Ireland who are also rabies free! On a personal level I am registered as disabled and travel to Europe several times a year and will have to pay a extra £190 per trip for my assistance dog! There appears to be little pressure from the vets to address this injustice as it is a licence for them to print money

The great Ouse network is a beautiful area but the price increase will make it the most expensive river network in the uk which is totally unacceptable given the lack of present upkeep
