• Reverse the cut in overseas aid
The cut may seem like a small difference in percentage, but it means (for example) a 50% reduction in aid for medical work in Yemen; 40% cut in medical work in Somalia. This is literally a death sentence for thousands in the poorest, most hard-hit parts of the world; whilst for many more it means suffering serious diseases that are curable with basic drugs and medical attention. As one of the world's 5 or 6 wealthiest countries, can we really not afford to maintain the 7% of GDP in aid that the government had previously pledged? This is not what "Global Britain" should be about.

  • Government should grant amnesty to refugees and asylum seekers
Referencing the present situation (the pandemic) too many people have died and more are languishing and many are becoming increasingly worried what their status will be, so many are destitute.

  • Gambling Advertising
During lockdown I have been horrified by the number of adverts for online gambling sites. The type of adverts are so cynical, suggesting you would be part of a family or a group of good friends if you just go online and waste your money. I can imagine a lot of bored people taking the chance and finding they're in debt. Gambling is a problem in the UK as it is.

  • Adult and child mental health support Cornwall
Our mental health has a detrimental effect on all aspects of lives I believe Cornwall needs more support for the adults and children who need access to these services! I think a standard a 3 year waiting list for CAMHS is to long and having a very negative effect on young people if you do not access mental health services at the point needed it leads to self harm, depression, anxiety, anti social behaviour; drink/drugs and unfortunately suicide😓 coronavirus has only added to the very limited resources Cornwall is receiving . This cannot be accepted anymore Cornwall deserves more, everyone does. Mental health matters

  • do not cut aid to Yemen
Britain has drastically cut its aid to Yemen, which has been devastated by conflict for six years, saying the pandemic created "a difficult financial context for us all". The UK government said it would provide "at least" £87m ($120m) this year, down from £164m pledged last year. Aid officials have condemned the cut. The UN chief, António Guterres, said reducing aid was a "death sentence".

  • Impose a Covid windfall tax.
After 10 years of forced Austerity cuts to bail out the greedy Bankers it's about time the top 5% and the big online companies stepped up to the plate to get Britain's damaged economy on the road to recovery without we the people footing the bill as of 2010 until present day. It's time for real change and a fairer economy, not a rigged economy to benefit the already rich.

  • Don't cut humanitarian aid to Yemen
Children are already starving in Yemen; a country which has been suffering civil war since 2015. The UK proposes to cut humanitarian aid to Yemen while continuing to export arms to countries involved in the civil war. The UN has warned that 4000,000 under fives are at risk from dying in the coming weeks. While other G7 countries are continuing with their aid programmes the UK, which is hosting the G7 summit later in the year, is turning away from a country in total crisis. The UK is essentially abandoning millions to war and starvation.

  • Refuse incinerator plant
The increased road traffic, but more importantly the emissions to come from this plant. As a country we are supposedly going green, why build this large refuse system so close to a large housing development and a large school. It seems to me that Corby is being used as a dumping ground.

  • Amnesty for undocumented immigrants whom lived her for over 10 years
Undocumented Migrants are suffering in silence, with no access to adequate Financial support, or any help. The current pandemic has created a more hostile environment for undocumented migrants. The Government should grant an immediate Amnesty to the Undocumented Migrants with no criminal record, to enable them to live their lives as decent human beings and help the Country economically. Since the migrants are already in the UK, it would not only be cost effective but would make sense to keep them in the UK and grant them citizenship so that they are granted their basic human rights.

  • Boycott government's tutoring scheme
It is a huge waste of public money, paying a third party at exorbitant rates when schools are well placed to select tutors for themselves. This is an example of cronyism at its worst.
