Coventry Council are making the families of disabled children pay £600 a year for transport to and from school. This service used to be free, but now families are being forced to fork out. The wellbeing and education of disabled children is being put at risk. Disabled children should not be punished for going to school.

Personality disorders are often dismissed as behavioural problems that simply put pressure on to the NHS and cause professional people problems. The truth in fact, is that they are not a choice, they are very real illnesses that often see some of societies most vulnerable people shunned, discriminated against, fall into the criminal justice system, and ultimately lose their lives. There are many media stories in circulation around personality disorder patients, being denied treatment, losing their lives and being denied basic human rights. This is wrong in one of the wealthiest and developed countries in the world. We need change. We need a voice. We need compulsory training for all frontline, primary, secondary and tertiary service staff.

If you cannot pass the tests in your third attempt, like me, then this holds you back from becoming an outstanding teacher. 2 years is a lot of time and it holds students back from wanting to teach because if you cannot pass after 2 years then you have to wait for another 2 years. I would like unlimited chances to pass Literacy and numeracy skills test to be put back to action because the government is loosing so many highly skilled student teachers as they are unable to pass their qts tests. I am sure most PGCE students would agree with this.

Over the past forty years Radyr has grown from 900 houses to over 3000. Houses tend to have more than one car also. I have lived in Radyr for over 30 years and I have cerebral palsy affecting my mobility and I have a blue badge. I work in Station Road area and find it very hard to park down there socially and when I go to work. Sometimes I have no choice but to park in the Disabled Bay with my badge, which according to current regulations I am entitled to do. A complaint has been made against me to Cardiff Council about me parking there during work time. They are looking to impose a 3 hour limit on the space currently. I would like to be able to park outside my workplace or in other spaces but I am unable to due to train station commuters or people not following current restrictions. I fall on a regular basis and I am unable to walk long distances. I hate the fact that me parking there has upset people so much that they feel the need to complain about me. I would ideally like Cardiff County Council to reconsider putting a second space in for Blue Badge holders. Some may argue that businesses may be put off by a second space going into Station Road. The residents of. Radyr are living longer and there are more badges being issued. Areas like Whitchurch and Llandaff have more than one disabled space. It may encourage blue badge holders to shop locally. Thank you, Victoria

Care & Disability deserve a place alongside Health and Education as one of the great offices of state. The UN recently described the plight of people with disabilities in Britain as a “human catastrophe”.The Equality and Human Rights Commission says disabled people are second-class citizens. Hit by cuts and a punishing assessment system many people with disabilities are in the fight of their lives. They feel marginalised and humiliated. We need a new approach and the best place to start is at the top. A junior minister in the DWP is the wrong person in the wrong place. Ask party leaders to show their commitment by appointing a Cabinet Minister. Sign the petition.

This operation is a step change and it is available in the uk. It addresses the cause of spasticity/ in children with cerebral palsy. It could offer them the opportunity to walk, live a normal and pain free life.currently this is NO LONGER available on the NHS. The op costs 21k. Families through out the uk Are being made to raise this themselves or watch their children live in pain.

It is very important to raise more awareness about Epilepsy and how to help someone if they are having a seizure. There are over 40 types of seizure and a child/adult could start having seizures at anytime. I think it is so important for teachers to be tought how to recognise the different types of seizures and also knowing what to do in an emergancy situation. I think it should be compulsory training that all education setting should have to do.

As, Carers are the lowest paid in society and do it to look after their loved ones its putting an impact on Carers financially,which is forceing them to work or deter them from claiming Carers Allowance. Putting a strain on Social Services, Health providers and the NHS. As Caring for a relative on a low income is financially constraining with DWP rulings affecting other income. A review needs to be looked into classing Carers Allowance as a income.

At the moment only a few establishments in the UK have disabled changing places, ie a toilet with a hoist and disabled changing bed. Companies do not realise that a disabled toilet on it's own does not cater for the needs of people who can't stand unaided or weightbear. As a consequence, many disabled people and their carers find their choice of leisure/social activities limited by the lack of a disabled toilet which they can use without being lifted and/or suffering the degradation of being changed on the floor in a disabled toilet. Even family orientated venues like Center Parcs do not offer disabled changing places. This is an issue that daily impacts on my 20 year old daughter's life, and therefore also on ours and her carers'. My daughter either waits for the toilet until we get home, which can take anything from half an hour to an hour, depending on where we are. Or, despite my urging her not to, she will go without a drink. Disabled people are being deprived of a basic human right that most of us take for granted.
