Fusion Lifestyle has a contract with Lewisham Council to provide leisure services at Glassmill Leisure Centre, as well as a number of other leisure centres in the Borough. However, as many Lewisham residents are aware, the standards of service at Glassmill at extremely poor, and are falling. Recently, swim school classes have been cancelled with increasing regularity - at the same time that Fusion has amended its terms and conditions so that refunds are no longer provided. This means that Fusion Lifestyle is keeping the money that Lewisham residents pay for swimming lessons, rather than providing the service for which they receive the funds. We believe that this is a breach of our consumer rights, as laid out in the 2015 Consumer Rights Act. Despite repeated complaints to Fusion, we have received no sign of (a) either a shift in policy or (b) any action to ensure that the cancellations at the swim school are being dealt with. In addition, we have concerns regarding the health and safety, child protection and safeguarding policies at Glassmill; despite repeated requests to view these policies and to understand how they are being implemented, we have received no response. Glassmill Leisure Centre was opened in 2013 and was supposed to provide a place for the residents of Lewisham, both adults and children, to participate in sport, health and fitness activities. We believe it is falling well short of the stated aims of the Council to "prevent ill health and promote independence; and also to support communities and families to become healthier and more resilient". The people of Lewisham deserve better than to be ripped off by Fusion Lifestyle - join us in the fight!

The UK is in an obesity crisis. Yet only 1 in 7 people have gym memberships. One of the biggest impediments to this is price. 20% of a gym membership goes to VAT, discouraging the public from improving their health and well being. Not to mention saving the NHS millions and millions of pounds by reducing obesity related healthcare. Make gyms cheaper and the population healthier by removing VAT on gym membership.

It is extremely important to me, as it once again proves that HM Government has treated veterans with contempt and a total disregard by basically stealing from both of their pension pots.

Somerset County Council have just cut fee paying seats on school transport from West Pennard / North Wootton to The Blue School. This causes great difficulty for many families who now have to all make alternate arrangements to get their children to school each day. Also, in 2018 the public transport provider First Bus cancelled a service which had been transporting at least 30 children to and from Shepton Mallet to Wells. The remaining public bus service to school is much later and is often delayed in the morning, making children late for school. It also now sees them waiting over an hour in Wells for their bus home.

So motorists that are leaving the junction at the bottom of Cockpit Hill are able to have visability of approaching traffic from the left ( Lead Lane). As at the moment this is totally blind.

At a vulnerable time families, especially the poorest, are pushed into 'death poverty'. It is not necessary as body disposal is not their responsibility. Funeral firms should be regulated and should provide a nationally standard statement to potential customers, making them aware they are not responsible for funerals. Local authorities should oversee this and provide statutory information about responsibilities for funerals. 'Many families left behind end up in debt as a result of funerals' according to the Independent. The average price for a cremation now stands at £3,596 and £4,561 for a burial. Prices are increasing at four times the rate of inflation. With unregulated operators, and local authorities keeping quiet about this, there is no compulsion for full disclosure to let families know they need not incur 'funeral poverty'.

The presenters provide vital ‘feel good’ their delivery of the show is second to none. The local travel and news is integral to the area. It has huge benefits to the people in Sussex and no one else is capable of filling in Jack, Nicola, Tom and Brians footsteps. Their passion, knowledge and humour they provide for our county is need not a want, its a public service!

The Post Office Is a Centralised Hub That Closing Can Only lead to jobs Being Lost and hardship for Business. The public will also suffer and is not able to provide the service as Efficiently. The Elderly and Children will find it difficult as the service will inevitably lead to longer queuing time.

The Town badly needs the post office for business needs and to serve the local people especially the elderly. the proposed alternative would not meet demand and we believe is only a stepping stone to closing once the majority of business and the public find alternatives-it is the centre of town and is always busy

It will encourage people to use the services easily rather than not use them due to the financial concerns. When I was unemployed way back in 2004 I campaigned to make access to benefit office freephone. I was appalled that when people have no money and are needy they have to pay to call unemployment services. I am not sure but I believe they now have a freephone telephone number for job centres.

Nuclear warheads are regularly transported in convoys on public roads to and from the atomic weapon factories at Aldermaston and Burghfield, and RNAD Coulport on Loch Long, where the weapons are stored and loaded onto Trident submarines. A nuclear warhead contains radioactive material and high explosive and this poses serious questions about public safety. The Civil Contingencies Act 2004 requires Category 1 Responders (including Local Authorities) to conduct a risk assessment of potential threats and to keep the public informed. According to the Ministry of Defence (MoD) document, Local Authority and Emergency Services Information (LAESI) Edition 10, if there was a serious accident the MoD would look after the nuclear weapon, but Local Authorities, Emergency Services and the Health Service would be responsible for potentially contaminated casualties, evacuating people nearby and advising many more to stay indoors. We want Cumbria County Council to openly review how prepared the civil authorities are and inform the public about their findings. Then the people of Cumbria can decide whether this transport poses an unacceptable risk.

The majority of sporting venues throughout the world recognise their greatest champions. I know Wimbledon is different in that it sticks with tradition and would never rename the courts. I however believe this would be a way showing support and appreciation for what Andy has brought to British tennis over the past decade or so.
