• Force Mortgage 'Early Repayment Charges' to reflect cost to bank
Banks are keen to make money in hidden ways that are unavoidable. These excessive charges impact families and people who maybe have no other choice but to repay a mortgage.

  • Child maintenance service should cap pension contributions
It is ludicrous that non resident parents are currently legally allowed in the UK to pay as much money as they want into a private pension for themselves to use later in life, so that by doing this it reduces their gross income so that the child maintenance payments calculated for them to pay to their child/children growing up is a lot less. This will have a huge impact on a lot of children growing up in single parent families and is simy wrong. Please sign this petition for this to be looked at and changed. Thankyou

  • Put baby changing areas in ALL male toilets
This is important as Dads are growing in their influence in a family and yet so many facilities are STILL slacking for them to appropriately be there for their families.

  • Wetherspoons Dog Ban
Wetherspoons clearly are living in the past by banning dogs, the best pubs allow dogs in the bar without any issues. For example nearly all pubs and eating establishments in the lake district allow dogs. The lakes are one of the biggest tourist areas in the UK with many families enjoying the countyside and pubs where dogs are made very welcome. In my experience most children love dogs and most dog owners are responsible loving people. Do Wetherspoons realise that by banning dogs they are in fact banning the dog owners. More than 1 in 4 households in the UK have a dog so I urge them to rethink this decision!

  • Improve access to Exeter St.Thomas Railway Station
I am Mason Bell, I am running this petition because the only access to the station is up flights of stairs. These stairs are steep and on one side there are 3 sections of steps to climb. This makes access very difficult for people with disabilities, parents with children in buggies and heavy luggage. I myself am unable to access the station as the stairs are too steep for me. I see lots of people struggle up the steps to the station and a lift or stairlift will make access and easier and be more likely to improve usage of the station.

  • Indian flood
People are trapped in their own homes because of the water rising. It has got to point that people can’t even have food to eat, kids have been starving for the whole day, because the waters are to high to get food. Many people have even lost their homes because of the water eroding the foundations away from the walls. Many people are missing because of the flooding and rock slides. The water has reached up to the second level of the house and people are left with inches away from death, left with no hope.

  • Correct disabled facilities
Having to change anyone with a server disability on a cold and dirty floor is unacceptable. It causes stress and danger for all involved, not to mention its completely undignified! Everyone has the right to be changed in a safe environment, and with the correct equipment, so I am trying to get facilities such as a hoist room in and around Northamptonshire for those people who rely on such equipment to be changed safely.

  • Let my wife remain with me in the UK
My mother, who lives alone, needs us both here in the UK as she is fighting cancer. I am British and my wife is from Mexico. We meet all the visa requirements but we failed to complete the new A2 English test that was brought in in 2016. My wife speaks excellent English, but with all of the stress of my mothers illness, we overlooked this new addition. It appears that my wife cannot take the test as the Home Office have retained her passport. The passport is required for ID for the secure test. If the Home Office sends the English college a certified copy of the passport and explains the situation, the college would let her take the test. We would therefore be able to resubmit the application without her having to go back to Mexico and losing her job at this critical time.

  • Stop seizing migrant children from parents.
The psychological damage caused by this inhumane and cruel policy as revealed in the Observer newspaper on Sunday 5th August 2018 is irreparable and shames the United Kingdom. The hypocrisy of criticising the Trump administration for its immigration policy is breathtaking. It is shameful to be treating some of the most vulnerable and needy people in the world in this way. https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2018/aug/05/child-separation-migrant-parents-uk-hostile-environment-trump
