Refugees Welcome in BolsoverAylan, the toddler who drowned fleeing Syria, was just three years old. His town was under attack by Isis. His five year old brother and his mum also died trying to reach safety. Yet our prime minister has just said ‘we won't take any more refugees’. He thinks that most of us don't care. But 38 Degrees members do care. We don't want Britain to be the kind of country that turns its back as people drown in their desperation to flee places like Syria. So let's stand up for Britain's long tradition of helping refugees fleeing war. Let's show the Prime Minister that we, the people of the UK, are proud to do our part and provide refuge to people in their hour of need. Recall UK Parliament and debate the refugee and humanitarian crisisPeople are dying in their thousands, The UK Govt is bringing shame on us all. Nigel Farage seems to be running the country as UKIP's shadow is more important to David Cameron than children's lives.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Don Wantto

For AylanWhen a three year old boy washes up on shore because he was trying to flee a country which is smashed by war, humanity must act, all of us, not because of race, religion, borders or anything else but for the safety of children like Aylan http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-3413321014 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Jason Ridgway-Taylor

Let's match Germany's commitment to offer refuge to Syrians fleeing their countryYesterday a dead child's body was washed up on the beach in Turkey, 71 people died of asphyxiation in a van in Austria, hundreds of migrants are fleeing their war torn countries to seek a new life. Thousands of people are running for their lives, let's proudly give them somewhere to run.9 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Susan Secher

Refugees Welcome HereI cannot sit back and watch the images of the suffering occuring in Europe at the moment, and listen to David Cameron time and time again bluring the boundaries between the issues of migration and the refugees crisis. Not in my name, morally we need to do our part in welcoming these people into our country.35 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Daniel Brant

Take 10,000 refugees from Syria. The refugee crisis is the worst humanitarian disaster to affect Europe and its neighbours since WW2. We must act now to protect those who are fleeing a war-zone which was of the West's making.51 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Patrick Greenough

We'll take Syrians into our homesSyrian refugees are leaving their beloved country due to the civil war and pressure from Assad and ISIS. Syrian nationals are experiencing persecution and genocide , depending on race and faith. In World War Two Britain offered sanctuary to thousands of Jews fleeing persecution. Once again we should open our country and our homes to these people. This is a global humanitarian crisis. These are not economic migrants: they are refugees of a crisis of which Britain is partly responsible. We owe it to these people, as fellow humans , to extend sanctuary as relief from their suffering. It is purely by chance that they were born in Syria and we in the UK. Were the situation to be reversed we would hope the same from them.31 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Alice Johnston

Refugees WelcomeThe Great British People and the real UK stand for World Peace and International Friendship. David Cameron has sponsored terrorists and a fascist regime in Kiev. If there is one person who needs removal from the UK it is David Cameron.4 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Eva and Paul Bright
