Give a mother and her children a second chance. DONT BREAK THIS BOND!The woman I am writing about has been living in the U.K. Since 1998 and has two sons who were both born here, whom she dotes on. She made a mistake which she regrets deeply and has nightmares about over 6 years later. However if anyone was ever a reformed character, she certainly is! She has made massive progress during her sentence, taking courses that enable her to work for the NHS, attending therapeutic programs, finding religion and being a central support figure for other prisoners. It would be significantly emotionally damaging, not only for her friends and family, but most of all for her two young sons. It is a human right to family life. If she were to be deported this would not only breach her right to a family life, it would also take that basic human right away from her two innocent children. No one on this earth is prefect. When given a second chance people can achieve great things. Even though they may have had the odds stacked against them. If you beleive people can change. If you beleive a child deserves a mother and if you appreciate human rights then please sign this petition. Thank you.69 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Gemma G

END ACID VIOLENCE IN THE U.K.National governments hold the responsibility to introduce and implement law and policies to protect our fundamental human rights in a cosmopolitan city like London. One of the reasons that acid attacks occur is due to cheap and easy availability of acid in the UK. The state has a due diligence obligation to prevent acid violence on our streets by enforcing tighter regulation of acid sales as well as enacting criminal laws to punish perpetrators. Prevention should start at schools by educating and working with youth to promote respectful relationships and gender equality. Research helps us to understand the causes and effects of acid violence to identify practical and feasible solutions to prevent such attacks whilst taking account of the impact this has on our trade and economy as a whole. We are asking for change in policies and laws that strike a fair and reasonable balance to protect the public whilst being considerate of the rights and duties of our traders, but ultimately our core aim is to punish the perpetrators of this callous act and promote a zero tolerance policy.23 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Sejal - Solicitor Senior Courts of England & Wales

Change the laws of next of kin statusUntil it happened to me I didn't realize after 28 years together the last 12 as my partners full time carer in that 12 years my partners family had no contact with us her mother then took legal advice to prove I wasn't legal next of kin. People who had not even asked how she was or did we need any help for 12 years were her next of kin I had to fight for a portion of her ashes too from my hospital bed where I Was seriously ill with a life threatening illness. As the law currently stands you have to be married or civil partners neither of which we could do because my partner had severe mental health issues, social anxiety syndrome and agoraphobia. I know for a fact a lot of people are in the very same position I am even if you are classed as next of kin on their medical records it means nothing if they die. Also if you split from your husband/wife and do not divorce they are still legally your next of kin and can demand all your possessions even if they were bought by someone else. Also you can end up homeless if the property is in the deceased persons name. Please sign and share this because you never know what is around the corner22 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Sally Roberts

Child support from absent parentsThis is important because a child's well being needs to come first. A child doesn't choose to be put here or choose to have an absent parent just toss them to the side. We need to teach the next generation that we stand up to our responsibilitys. It takes 2 people to create a child so therefore 2 people are responsible. It's important that the parent that has full time care is taken seriously, which at present we are not.15 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Nicci Shirley

Suspension of arms sales to Saudi ArabiaIn Yemen the epidemic of cholera is killing one child every 10 minutes and the death rate will increase. The war with Saudi Arabia prevents the deployment by external charities of medical and food supplies. The ban is intended to demonstrate that the British people hold Saudi Arabia responsible for the worsening situation. Britain shares this responsibility through arms deals and the situation brings discredit on our people on an historic scale. The people must express their horror of this situation.52 of 100 SignaturesCreated by David Mullen

state pension ageMost people now in their 40's have been affected by a state pension age rise from 66 to 67, but now, today, the government wants you to work until you are aged 68. This has been pushed forward years earlier than originally proposed. It was to be implemented in 2044 but will now be implemented between 2037-2039. This will have a direct impact on all UK taxpayers currently aged between 39 and 47 who were born between 06/04/1970 - 05/04/1978 - a total of 6 million people in the UK working population paying taxes and national insurance contributions. People within this bracket have already had their state pension age pushed forward 1 year by this government in it's current tenure which is punishment enough. You should be entitled to retire and enjoy the benefits of retirement at 67 without moving the goalposts. This opportunistic government has not only upped your age before you can claim back for your contributions - now it wants another year from you. I want to see the UK taxpayers protected by applying legislation that only allows one change to retirement age in a persons working age. 1 working career = 1 change not punishment. Please lets get this voted for and debated in Parliament.70 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Col Handley

Kurdistan IndependenceThe Kurds are indigenous nation who historically have always inhabited their own land, Kurdistan, Land of the Kurds, which stretches over the mountainous chain of the Zagros region and its plains, with a population of more than 40 million, who have retained their societal culture and have preserved their own languages and culture, are perhaps the only nation on earth who are still stateless. After the demise of the Ottoman Empire, the Kurds were divided among four newly invented states in the Middle East, Turkey, Iraq, Iran and Syria, forming entirely a different ethnic minority in each state while the Kurds were made to lose their own identity in the newly created arbitrary countries, these were compromising homogeneous national groups, their by denying the existence of other national groups within their own borders. The signing of the armistice agreement on 30 October 1918 which signaled the demise of the Ottomans has paved the way for the Treaty of Sevres on 10 August 1920, effectively allowing the allied powers in dividing the Ottoman Empire to implement the Sykes –Picot agreement of 1916 which created artificial countries in the Middle East by drawing a line in the sand and instead of delivering the Kurds from the Ottoman Empire, it marked the beginning of their oppression throughout the Middle EastSubsequent events and the new upheaval in the Middle East, including the falls of successive dictatorial regimes, the rise of radicalism and sectarianism, have added to the instability of the region, created new realities on the ground and have shown that old artificial borders are bound to fail. Our Kurdish leaders as well as the whole of the Kurdish nation have joined in, in demanding to have their own independent Kurdistan. The Kurds are the most freedom loving nations but also the most victimised nation throughout their modern history on this planet, who believe in liberty and democracy, therefore we ask you to support our petition to the British and European Parliaments to lend the Kurds full support in achieving their goals in having an independent state. With our sincere gratitude and regards On and behalf of PNKs Dr Khoshnaf Al-Kadi 2017-07-16, London87 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Khoshnaf Al-Kadi
