Where there is a caring role, very often the family experience severe financial hardship and this is exacerbated if the carer cannot claim carers allowance. Many carers have to give up work, training or education to look after the person they care for and are unable to claim any money in recognition of their caring role if the person they care for is on ESA and does not qualify for Personal Independence Payment (PIP). An example of this is a 25 year old carer who had to drop out of university 4 years ago when his father died suddenly and his mother had a breakdown. She is unable to look after herself without his help yet he is unable to claim carers allowance as she is on ESA and has been refused PIP and he is unable to work because of his caring responsibilities. Consequently, they suffer extreme poverty and are in debt which has resulted in potential eviction from their home. Another example is a 17 year old who had to move from his father's house to another county to care for his mother who suffers extreme anxiety which means she is unable to leave the house on her own, answer the phone or the front door so relies heavily on her son. As he is only 17 and unable to work or engage in training or eduaction due to his caring role the family are unable to claim child benefit for him or carers allowance as the mother is on ESA and has been refused PIP. There are many more such examples and I feel strongly this needs to change so that those who suffer some of the wprst financial hardship are not made to suffer further.

Rather, rawhide is the by-product of the “Leather Industry” If you use an online search engine to look at how rawhide chews are made, you can see the process including all of the chemicals, dyes and glue that are used, yet these are still considered safe to give to our dogs! Look a little further and you will find 1000's of stories of dogs choking on these treats or becoming seriously ill as their body is affected by the poisonous chemicals, too many of these cases have resulted in the death of a dog. There are many alternatives to rawhide so there is absolutely no reason for this toxic product to be on sale in the UK as a treat for dogs.

This is essential the safety of the local community. This is a 20 mph zone in which drivers regularly go over 60 mph. Accidents on that stretch of Old Oak Common Lane are frequent but many go unreported as drivers know they've broken the law. There have been fatalities, buses losing their roofs, regular replacement of railings and bollards, a recent accident which took down the local internet and phone service. Crossing the road to the bus stop is dangerous and a particular risk for elderly people and young children.

Holme View is a specialist dementia care home, the staff are trained in dementia care and the home received a good grading in all areas after their latest inspection, July 2016. The residents are settled and happy and they receive a good quality of service with value for money. Change would be detrimental to their mental wellbeing. It's a very worrying time for family members, not knowing where our loved ones may end up and thinking that they will have to go through the upheaval of moving. My sister has only just settled there after months, she could not cope with another change. Understandably cuts have to be made these days but surely not with regard to people who are so vulnerable.

Mental Health services are not only being cut but actually being closed down . As a long term sufferer of mental health conditions both as a client and as a volunteer the situation is untenable . I for one just had my P.I.P reduced and mobility taken away. I know of GENUINE people also, that have had this happen. When I called to make a mandatory appeal, TWICE I was told, the decision was made BEFORE any of my medical evidence, Occupational therapy report had even been received . The government wants to save money - yet within the space of a month , I had to go to TWO different assessments. People are taking their own lives because of these decisions . Why should they be allowed to play with peoples lives ??

Exeter Council are handing out fines to people who beg for food or money from strangers. It’s an attempt to sweep homelessness and begging out of the area, but it could mean people sleeping on the streets over winter face fines they can’t afford. These people need support, like shelters and access to food and advice, not fines for asking for money. Fining them will not solve the problem of homelessness, it will divide us even further. Edit: In an effort to be transparent please read the following: It has been brought to my attention that this new public spaces protection order(PSPO) is not set to be decided until the end of February, if we can stop it from happening in the first place that would be amazing. Also, the PSPO specifically targets 'aggressive' begging, which is described as begging near a cash point or approaching people directly. The idea of fining those who already have so little, that they are forced to sleep out in the cold or ask for food and money is a cruel and heartless act. This is attacking vulnerable people and does not resolving the issues homeless people face. Other campaigns have successfully stopped other councils from imposing similar fines. New developments are mostly aimed at younger families and couples, and retirement developments are for purchase. Small scale local social housing for older folk would allow them to stay in their communities and keep their local support network. Please support this petition.

People are homeless for a wide range of reasons; many are vulnerable, experiencing mental illness or the impact of traumatic life events and most have no financial security. Any one of us with the right combination of unfortunate circumstances could find ourselves in a position of being homeless and of needing to resort to asking passersby for money or food. Please encourage our local Northamptonshire councils to find more effective and compassionate ways of dealing with the issues related to begging than imposing fines that homeless people are unlikely to be able to pay. There are plans for 15,000 new houses to be built in Didcot as part of the "Didcot Garden Town" project. This is more than those planned for Bicester Garden Town, recently described as a "dog's breakfast" with ecologically important flower rich meadows being lost to housing. Proposals for Didcot have been announced that are WORSE than first feared. They include building technical office space and accommodation over roughly half of the Ladygrove recreation ground and play park. The remnants would be developed such that there would be no substantial level open green space for casual sports or recreation. A new road cutting across the play park and flats on the play park, opposite the Willowbrook and behind the football club with no additional parking serve to top of this awful proposal. The current morning congestion around the primary school would be intolerable. Our facilities, green spaces and paths integral to our local parkrun are threatened. This is important because a 74 year old gentleman was left to rot and decompose in a tent, on the bank of the River Severn in Worcester over the summer of 2016. Cardon Banfield came over with the Windrush community and was let down by the state in his final days. In a report by Worcester City Council, it was found that lessons can be learned from the death of Cardon. Councillor Lynn Denham stated that we should learn these lessons - and the undersigned believe we can only do that with a Safeguarding Adults Review. The Worcester City Council-funded CCP service (which the taxpayer pays £240,000 a year for) should have found Cardon's body. Help get Justice for Cardon, hold the right people accountable and stop another tent death happening on our streets again.
