Since 2012, when the Conservatives came into power, funding to children and teenagers mental health care has drastically decreased. Now only 0.6% of NHS budget goes CAMHS, who give help to these people. This is not a beneficial way of spending the money as children and teenagers mental health is a growing problem. These cuts mean charities like Young Minds and Mind have to fill the gaps and help vulnerable kids who don't get the help they need from CAMHS.

It has been about 5 years now since course fees rose to £9000 and so Students who are leaving university now with degrees have debts of around £40,000 ( £50,000 plus if they've done a 4-year course such as an Integrated Masters degree which are especially common in science) Students will barely be paying off the interest when they work as this will be £200 to £300 per month. Presumably their debt will grow further if they are unable to pay back even the interest because they are in low-paid jobs.

Euston Road and Hampstead Road are two highly polluted areas in Central London not far from the Telecom Tower. 12 to15 mature large trees in St. James' Gardens and several more in front of Euston station, highly valuable in combatting pollution damage to our health caused by constant heavy traffic, are to be cut down to make way for a HS2 which is being built to knock 20 mins off a journey to the West Midlands. St. James' Gardens provides a very pleasant haven of tranquility in the midst of a busy, polluted area at the back of Euston Station and supports wildlife- young birds. Historic gravestones and a monument provide an impressive reminder of our history ( sailors intercepting slave ships) in the 19th century. I used to play there when I was a child on the swings, now replaced by a well-used sports pitch; a toddlers' playground also exists. HS2 has been passed by Parliament but is there really NO WAY that this company cannot preserve the scarce bit of beautiful nature that has existed in this area for so many years and gives respite to so many? Furthermore, Camden Council has, apparently of necessity, sold community green space to private developers. Again, in a built-up residential area, these green spaces are precious for adults and children alike : of course, it's the trees again which have to go to make way for the luxury flats. I can't tell you how much it means to me mentally and physically, to be in a beautiful, quiet space and, judging by the scarves which have carefully been tied round all the trees to be chopped; so do many others.

This is an international problem, which met with an international solution - and Britain must join the international condemnation of America's terrible, selfish decision. We do not want to live in a world dominated by bullies. We do not want to live in a Britain too scared to do anything America doesn't want. We demand leadership that makes us proud to be British. If Theresa May cannot condemn America's decision to condemn our planet, will she ever stand up for anything? British people stand up for others, and we stand up for what we believe in. We do not want a Prime Minister who licks the boots of the American president. Theresa May must show strong leadership and sign the international letter condemning Donald Trump and his abandonment of the Paris agreement.

‭‭This petition is to lower the speed limit from 60mph in this particular area and/or to install speed cameras. The stretch of road on the A361 from Knowle to Mullacott Cross has been the place of too many accidents and near misses for too long! Over the past 2 years there has been a fatality, countless accidents and in the last month alone there have been 3 serious accidents involving multiple vehicles, one of which needing assistance from the Devon Air Ambulance. The trans community have suffered a lot over generations, and one of the issues is the price and accessibility of binders. Binders are usually sourced online at a high price rate because of the shipping and manufacturing, as well as most of them being made in America. This makes it significantly difficult for working class or unemployed trans men to find a cheaper alternative for their wellbeing. Binders are sold on Amazon and Ebay at lower prices, however in my experience, they are not very reliable and well made. I believe that as a gender non-conforming individual who uses binders myself, we should not have to pay for something that helps us feel more comfortable and helps with d***horia. Waiting lists for surgery for the trans community is very long and can take up to a certain amount of years. Surely, there should be a free service that helps until the surgery is finalised. Some trans people choose not to have surgery and that is completely their choice, but they should have access to good quality, free binders on the NHS that they can use everyday and feel themselves. If they can fund sexual health, then they can fund mental health. I believe that giving this opportunity to the trans and non-binary community will promote intersectionality, benefit mental health, and may even save lives.

This is about the health and safety of the children of surrounding areas. We need a lollipop person to protect them from being hit by vehicles. A young girl was recently hit just outside the school and more children are at risk of harm unless action is taken to make the crossing safer. The 999 Emergency Ambulance Service is under pressure to hit targets and with the increasing amount of people within the UK is creating bigger problems. Imagine the positive impact it would have on everyone if 'Basic Life Support' was taught in schools. This would help the emergency services also would give a better life expectancy for the more severe issues such as Heart Attack and any other major life threatening situations. Besides giving the added advantage of promoting and preserving lives, this would also give a good life skill and good footing for the child as they grow if they wish to proceed into the medical sector. Introducing BLS into the school curriculum will preserve, prevent and promote not only life but skills and knowledge of all.

This surgery is used by over 5000 people, other surgeries are also full to capacity. Forcing them to take on the extra patients caused by the closure of folkestone east family practice will have a detrimental affect on the healthcare the residents of folkestone recieve. Closing this surgery may even lead to people not seeking a gp due to being unable to travel far

The council ignore resident concerns and is intent on pressing forward despite the transformation of our Winchmore hill into an ugly, congested, concrete jungle with decimated natural beauty and failing business. Enfield council presented false statements and visual plans of green lanes in their 'consultation for the cycle lane scheme - on the drawings no mention was made of tearing up and ripping out ten mature trees along our green lanes to date - and more to come.The residents of Winchmore hill did not agree to the replacement of beautiful mature trees with grey slabs of concrete - 'improving public spaces ' in the council's words. No effort has been made to protect the trees at all despite claims to the contrary . Worryingly letters have been put in local communications to inform residents of more trees 'necessary' to be removed . These were not presented as needing removal in the 'consultation' plans. We live in Winchmore hill because we chose to live amongst greenery and historical mature trees.

We are 2 weeks into a 6-week (tokenistic) 'consultation' period to downgrade our Post Office in Finsbury Park. We have 4 weeks left to ramp up our response. The petition needs to reach 2000 signatures to trigger a debate in full Council Meeting. We all know that Crown Post Office provides important services that feed into the social and economic vitality of the area it serves. Our Post Office is under threat of being downsized into the corner of a store. Here are just a few reminders why we need to keep it viable and serving our community: 1. There is massive regeneration and development of Finsbury Park: our Post Office should be expanding rather than reduced within a franchise. 2. . Franchises depend on profit; franchise takeovers of Post Offices show a track record of low pay and conditions; high staff turnover; less experienced staff; long queues; people becoming irritated... 3. Big picture is that Crown Post Offices process 40% of financial services mail so are a crucial component of London’s economy. Track record of franchises is loss of experienced staff who are able to deal swiftly and efficiently with complex queries so business users suffer loss of time and money. 4. With a strategy of downgrading services, Post Office Limited’s own branding to serve the ‘heart of the community’ would appear to be a nonsense! Could those highly paid PO Ltd Board executives have signed up to such a policy without researching implications for Finsbury Park? We have massive development! Rapid population growth! Increasing demand! 5. A franchise will lose experienced staff who provide a patient, knowledgeable and polite service. Our PO is used by local businesses, hard-working families; small traders, disadvantaged and vulnerable individuals, (including people with issues of mild dementia; people whose first language is not English, people with disabilities, people with hearing or sight loss. 6. Finsbury Park Post Office serves an area of super-diversity. We need a commitment to promoting social cohesion. The strategic planning policy of National and local government (we have three bordering London boroughs - Hackney, Islington and Haringey) has made this commitment. Reducing Finsbury Park Post Office service by squeezing it into the corner of a store would undermine opportunities for social cohesion. 7. Downsizing to franchise of our PO would erode choice, limit access across our whole community, impact negatively on social cohesion and serve no-one's best interests. - KEEP FINSBURY PARK POST OFFICE VIABLE!
