Improve the university experience for autistic studentsCountless students struggle with issues of isolation and distraction, feeling overwhelmed by everything around them during their transition to university. For students with an autism spectrum disorder, these struggles are magnified and are an every day struggle. There are many difficulties that people with autism may face when transitioning from school to university and we are urging universities to be proactive in bettering their existing services as well as introducing new ones. We are not trying to help students overcome an autism spectrum disorder or get around it. We are campaigning the university to help ensure that students with autism are achieving their full potential during their studies. We are beginning this campaign at Cardiff University, with the aim to expand it across all Russell Group universities.6 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Karis Pearson

End LonelinessIf we can end loneliness with a little community spirit then this will lessen mental health issues down the line. This will have a positive affect on the NHS and community spirit in general. If someone knows they will get at least one visit a month it will give them something to look forward to.7 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Terry Marsh

Abandon the Library ConsultationLibraries matter to communities. To make informed decisons about libraries the Council needs to know what people think. But this consultation will not do that. The consultation is stuff full of jargon. The language is confusing. It should be in plain English. Readability of text can be measured using a SMOG test. That's "Simple Measure of Gobbledygook". The Sun newspaper has a SMOG value of less than 14. The Express is less than 16. The Guardian and Telegraph is around 17. The SMOG value of Worcestershire County Council's consulation is an amazing 44! Ordinary people have little chance of understanding it. But a good consultation should be about getting ordinary people's views. The Council should therefore abandon it and do it properly!16 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Robert Barlow

Use only silent fireworks in ScotlandSmall children and animals are being constantly put in a state of fear for weeks at a time due to the careless use and misuse of noisy explosive fireworks. My dogs are trembling with fear every night, others are sharing their stories of similarly terrified pets on facebook and twitter.49 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Gerard Durkin

Immediate reduction of high stakes gambling machinesThese machines let people spend thousands in a matter of minutes, creating lots of gambling addicts. This directly effects social and mental wellbeing, and leads to 2 people committing suicide every day. The only reason the government has done this is because of financial gain from the tax system of around £400 million! This is a very disappointing irresponsible attitude.7 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Rikki Collins

Keep free T.V. for over 75'sMany older people are lonely and isolated. The only friend they have is their television. To reintroduce the licence fee, will cause hardship to those who need their T.V. most.. *Free image by Masterfile10 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Roger Cliffe-Thompson

Keep the Guard On the TrainThis is a safety critical job, meaning that more customers will feel safe on the railways. Current disputes are going on for no obvious reason, disrupting millions of commuters every week. Have a look at some of the RMT's stories on Facebook and Twitter and see some of the reasons we need to keep our guards.9 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Matthew Davies

Save Ward 6 Bishop Auckland HospitalThis is of vital importance for people of the County Durham area. We are a nurse led unit who admit patients from Acute sites who are medically fit for discharge but may need more social input or would be unsafe to discharge home for example dementia patients, non- weight bearing patients and obese patients. The plans for these patients now is to discharge home for district nurses to see to but there are no proposals to increase the number of district nurses and when people spoke to them they were not aware of the proposals or how they were going to staff them!13 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Karen Fittes

Road Safety Measures for Long Road LawfordIt's important because it's an accident waiting to happen especially in the afternoon when there is no crossing patrol to help parents and children to cross this extremely busy road. My 3yr old daughter and in-laws were involved in a near miss crossing this road on 4/10/18. Following a message on social media I have found out in the last month since the school returned from summer break there have been at least three other near miss incidents and one child has been knocked over. A crossing has been talked about for years on this site but nothing has been done. With all the extra traffic created by the new housing estates in the area the situation is only going to get worse. We need Essex Highways to take action ASAP before a serious accident occurs.284 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Sarah Newman
