  • REINSTATE THE GARDEN NURSERY LOCATED ON MARSTON TRADING ESTATE FROME FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES
IF THE GARDEN NURSERY CENTER WAS REINSTATED IT WOULD ENABLE PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES TO EXPAND THEIR HORIZONS, DEVELOP SOCIAL SKILLS, MEET NEW PEOPLE FROM MANY DIFFERENT BACKGROUNDS, FEEL MORE INCLUSIVE IN THE BROADER COMMUNITY, BE THE FIRST STEP TO GAINING MEANINGFUL EMPLOYMENT, GAIN A SENSE OF SELF ACHIEVEMENT FOR BOTH THEMSELVES AND THEIR FAMILIES. IT WILL ALSO ACT AS A HUB FOR RETIRED GARDENERS TO PASS ON THEIR EXPERTISE TO A DIFFERENT GENERATION OF PEOPLE WILLING TO LEARN. CREATING A PLACE WITH A STRONG SENSE OF COMMUNITY.

  • Help Abigail Bolt receive the medical support she needs from the NHS.
This petition is important as this is the primary reason the NHS exists today. Let this not be another story where a family has to go private with their healthcare due to the NHS failures and government turning their backs on its people. Ultimately Abigail Bolt's life can be significantly improved given a decision to allow the necessary medication be made available.

  • Increase Child Benefit to £40 per child per week
There are over 4.1 Million children in poverty in the UK. And another new 753 children fall in to poverty each day. The best way to tackle it is by increasing child benefits, so this will not prevent people from getting in to work, getting better jobs or better salaries as there is no taper rate for Child Benefits (unlike tax credits, housing benefits and universal credit, that the taper rate is 63p, this means every pound you earn above the work allowance you loose 63p of universal credit).

  • Pressure Coombe Farm to review and alter their farming practices
This is a serious animal welfare issue. Hundreds of thousands of people trust the Soil Association certificate and expect to be buying an ethical product when they buy something with their mark on. The way these animals are being treated is not ethical and therefore discredits the Soil Association name.

  • Have Bravecto removed from sale worldwide
Because too many people have seen serious illness in their pets, many times resulting in death by organ failure or euthanisation, and the company refuses to acknowledge the link between a 3 month dose of pesticide and serious side effects

  • SAVE CREDITON COUNCIL OFFICES FOR THE COMMUNITY
The Council Offices are used by Crediton Town Council to hold meetings in the council chamber and to conduct their business. The building is also used by Citizens Advice, the Churches Housing Action Trust and about 20 other charitable organisations and as a base when community events take place on the town square opposite. All these organisations will be left homeless and there are no other suitable premises close in to the town. Council officers recommended that the building be sold to the Town Council at 50% of the restricted value as recommended by council officers in April 2017 - the same terms as Tiverton Town Hall was sold to Tiverton Town Council recently.

  • Make 101 a free call
Nobody wants to be the victim of a crime or need to call the police. If you've just lost everything the last thing you need is to find 15p to call someone. It just does not make sense to be charged to report something that wasn't your fault in the first place. Plus with mobile calls you might get disconnected and 5 calls later you've spent 75p.......

  • Correct disabled facilities
Having to change anyone with a server disability on a cold and dirty floor is unacceptable. It causes stress and danger for all involved, not to mention its completely undignified! Everyone has the right to be changed in a safe environment, and with the correct equipment, so I am trying to get facilities such as a hoist room in and around Northamptonshire for those people who rely on such equipment to be changed safely.

  • Prosecution for people leaving dogs in hot cars
At this time of year, with the unusual constant high temperatures, & the high visitor numbers, we are seeing a lot of dogs suffering immense distress at being left to bake in cars. It is a grey area with the Police as regards of what action can be taken - needs addressing as to what immediate action can be taken, rescuers need to be immune from "criminal damage" prosecution when it had been established that the dog needs to be released from vehicle to prevent further suffering & death. The dog owner should be prosecuted for causing unnecessary suffering to an animal.
