• Prevent coronavirus support for companies based in tax havens
Companies that headquarter themselves in tax havens choose to do so to avoid paying UK corporation tax and should not therefore be able to benefit from taxpayer funded state support, the bill for which will ultimately be paid for by everyone in the UK who does pay tax. Allowing such companies to access coronavirus financial support is like allowing uninsured drivers to claim for accident damage – it clearly doesn’t make sense.

  • RyanAir Refunds NOT Vouchers
They originally offered people with cancelled flights a "refund". They then emailed to say it would take a while due to high demand. They are now trying to instate a "voucher" system rather than their promised refund. Refuse the voucher, demand your refund.

  • Protection of Cancer services, during and after the Covid-19 Pandemic
Delays and pausing to diagnosis and treatment will mean some cancers will be inoperable or beyond curative treatment. Cancer patients should not wait for Covid-19 to pass to receive the treatment they need. With the escalation of testing of staff and patients hospitals and hubs can be made safe for patients and staff can be treated safely and post operative complications minimised.

  • UK citizenship for foreign nationals who have worked at the NHS
This is important to recognise the sacrifice and contribution that foreign nationals have made whilst risking their lives in providing care for those who have unfortunately contacted the Covid-19 virus.Cabinet members of the UK government have praised foreign nationals for their contribution, it is time to put some substance to that praise and do something which will help those NHS staff who need help too.

  • Individuals with over a billion pounds worth of assets - no bail out
The public built your fortune, the government recovers bail out money from the public. The public is hurting, doing their best to survive while the rich get richer at our expense. Is this government going to accede to their request or is humanity going to win over greed and so called power? We have been a great opportunity to stop polluting the earth and if measures can be put in place globally to fight a virus then we can save the planet

  • Increase Enterprise Investment Scheme tax relief to at least 50%
As almost never before UK start-ups are under acute threat and not just as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic. Urgent help is required to support them. The proposed government Future Fund is unattractive to most start-ups and something simpler is required. Increasing the EIS tax relief could be done very easily and extremely rapidly - in days and not weeks.

It's important for the Early Years Sector to be valued alongside other industries! Early Years staff are often on a low wage but not putting us on the furlough scheme has put us under huge financial strain. How are we supposed to support ourselves?

  • Better Pay and Conditions for Care Workers
We undervalue the importance of this sector and with the cutbacks over the last ten years their conditions have become worse and worse. With the demographic that we are all getting older and living much longer this sector is under massive stress. By increasing their wages and improving their conditions, this will attract more caring people.

  • Permanent Free Bus Pass for Door to Door Care Workers
I have seen the valuable work Door to Door Care Workers do at first hand, caring for my bed bound Mum during the Coronavirus Pandemic. Their dedication and hard work, going from one house to the other to provide much needed care services by bus as none of them can afford a car on their meagre wages.

  • Uphold Disabled Rights of 'Reasonable Adjustments' during COVID-19
Many vulnerable and disabled people are currently unable to access essential services such as 'Supermarkets, Health Facilities, Essential Retail Shops, Take Away Restaurants and Banks' without enduring 'temporary measures' which are potentially extremely detrimental to their physical health and mental wellbeing. Disabled people are being turned away from stores when they ask for 'Reasonable Adjustments' to be made to accommodate their disability; The Pregnant, Elderly and those with anxiety or sensory conditions are being forced to wait in long queues outside of a store and met by hostile staff who make no effort to ease wait times for this vulnerable group. Some stores will only make reasonable adjustments during 'unsociable hours' usually before the store opens, which are inconvenient for the majority of disabled or vulnerable people and wholly inappropriate and inaccessible. Whilst the most vulnerable people of society are doing their best to self-isolate; many vulnerable people are more often unable to get support, stay at home due to mental health, shop online or avoid shopping in person for themselves due to allergies or fear of cross contamination. Thank you for your signature, it really means the world to us. * Special thanks to all NHS Staff, Emergency Services and those working to help save lives by shopping for elderly and vulnerable people. Thank You
