• Strict export licencing laws
It's a matter of preserving life and if you believe that the right to life is so important, then it's absolutely essential that we make sure sovereign states fulfil their responsibilities to, as far as possible, honour this time-honoured right.

This is the only way some of us around the world even pay for Netflix and the only way we can access to watch the show. It would be tragic to not be able to watch it anymore.

  • 2 PARKING PERMIT FOR 4 HOURS EACH TO VISIT FAMILY/RELATIVES AND FRIEND
SOME PLACES THERE ARE NO CLOSE PROXIMITY TO PARK AND COULD BE DIFFICULT FOR ELDERLY OR DISABLED VISITORS AS WELL AS THOSE WITH YOUNG CHILDREN AND SOME OTHERS WHO CAN ONLY VISIT FOR A SHORT TIME BEFORE HAVING TO RUSH OFF TO OTHER APPOINTMENTS OR WORK. HOWEVER PARKING COULD BE A LONG WALK TO AND FROM THE INTENDED VISITING AREA AND COULD CAUSE FRUSTRATION AND LESS SUPPORT GIVEN TO OTHERS IN NEED OF SUPPORT..

  • Bye-bye to standby
I have researched this and as advised by the BBC website; the average household has up to 12 gadgets on standby or charging at any one point. Britons waste the equivalent of around two power stations' worth of electricity each year by leaving TV sets and other gadgets on standby. This is just in households alone, where people do have the option to turn TV's and gadgets off standby if educated correctly. It is worrying that every hotel and B&B you visit in the UK, Europe and globally where TV's are located in the room, that they are all left on standby 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. There is no need to keep the TV's on standby and could be turned off fully. Norman Baker, the Liberal Democrat's environment spokesman has calculated that the CO2 emissions from electrical equipment being left on standby are equivalent to 1.4 million long-haul flights. To put it another way, the entire population of Glasgow could fly to New York and back again and the resulting emissions would still be less than that from devices left in sleep mode.

  • Introduce Idling Fines To Stop Needless Pollution
Every day when i go about my business i see unnecessarily vehicle idling. This is illegal but is not enforced. How many times do you go to your local supermarket and see vehicles just sitting there pumping out there poisonous fumes? Idling needlessly adds to climate change, adds to air pollution, wastes fuel and impacts the health of all. This is even more so for young children breathing in these poison fumes which can ultimately affect there respiratory system and affecting them for life. I regularly remind people of their actions but unfortunately many do not care, with all we know about climate change and the harmful pollutants in vehicle emissions this is simply unacceptable Its time a system was introduced such as the scheme in New York City where citizens can record and report such needless actions so fines can be issued

  • Instagram needs to stop disabling real accounts and get better customer service support
Instagram has resorted to algorithms to determine which accounts are disabled/deactivated without actually looking into the issue properly. This has resulted in numerous real accounts including business accounts being closed down by Instagram based on incorrect or false information. The result is loss in business, in investment if you have used their Ad promotions, loss of your pictures/content on Instagram, years of hard work gone in an instant. I have had my account disabled for impersonating someone else which is completely incorrect, in fact I have been the victim of being impersonated and when the fake account was reported, it was still active but mine was disabled instead. Instagram support offers you no contact number, no email, no live chat, no real person to contact to for support at all. They do not care at all if you lose your account. It is extremely difficult to get any help or support despite filling in the forms to appeal many times. Facebook as the parent company of Instagram, need to get better customer support service in place. For such a big company and social media site, they should be able to afford a much better customer service support help center. The robots are not doing their job properly. Please fix this. Please sign this petition to get my account back and for Instagram to get better customer service support. Thank you My disabled Instagram account: @s.n_ruin

  • Build bigger school and infrastructure
With the Dunbeg Primary school bursting at the seems already, where will the children from the new Dunbeg Corridor housing phase be educated. The village school served purposely for the village of Dunbeg up till 2013* when the new housing development at Marine court was announced. Then 3.5 years* ago roughly the new Housing development of MacVicar Court was completed. The new phase which is progressing rapidly will be 300 addresses. Where do the children from these addresses expect to be educated? It is farcical that The Infrastructure isn't in place before the houses were approved at planning. C'mon Argyll and Bute council. • Save the Environment Bill
Without this legislation in place, in the event of a no deal Brexit, numerous environmental laws will be unenforced and farmers will not be able to apply for funding to help agriculture become more sustainable and undertaken with the intention of helping to mitigate climate change. The consequences are self-evident.
