Nationalise Hospital Car-parking and push all profits into the NHSLarge companies like Indigo, who provide car parks at Hospitals around the country make millions of pounds of profit charging extortionate fees to patients, relatives and staff who need access to the hospitals. Only a small portion of these profits are turned over to the NHS, with the majority going to tax subsidised firms who continue to rake in millions of pounds. If these long-term contracts were torn up by our Government and NHS England, prices could be regulated, and all of the profits could go directly into the struggling Health Service. As it stands, these heartless companies are ripping off thousands each day, the NHS is getting a bad deal, and more and more power is being directed into the hands of a few. http://www.southwales-eveningpost.co.uk/nurse-given-parking-ticket-while-she-was-in-hospital-possibly-trying-to-save-someone-s-life/story-30155046-detail/story.html Change is needed now!17 of 100 SignaturesCreated by calum davidson

Funded Sleep Support for All FamiliesThe Children's Sleep Charity is contacted by hundreds of families each week, many who are at crisis point due to sleep deprivation. We are unable to meet demand due to lack of funding. Sleep deprivation is costly to society and impacts negatively on the mental, emotional and physical wellbeing of the whole family. Currently sleep support is unregulated which means that anybody can set up a business and offer a family information. Inappropriately trained practitioners can provide mis-information to vulnerable families. Sleep support needs regulation in order to protect families. The importance of sleep must be addressed urgently. Evidence shows that providing a behavioural approach to sleep is effective and also hugely cost saving to the NHS.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Vicki Dawson

Die with Dignity in ScotlandToo many people reach the end of their lives, and sadly are in tremendous pain and have lost their dignity. The medical profession keeps these people alive against their will. This is inhuman. My father, mother and aunt all begged me to terminate their lives to end their suffering. That was over 40 years ago and nothing has changed. Please read this distressing link about Flora, who died recently in Fife. BEWARE IT IS GRAPHICALLY DISTURBING. www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/help-die-family-release-heartbreaking-961406050 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Grahame Wear

Industrialized Discrimination (Against Disabled People)Disabled people like myself are being left to try and tidy up there property without any help from the authorities, which is causing a lot of Stress and needless suffering for all Disabled People in similar positions to myself, with Disabilities that affect how a person functions, like walking, preparation of food and Mental Health Problems which can cause communication breakdowns quickly without the appropriate help.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Stuart Ongley

Delayed DBS checksThese checks are important to anyone who has a job working with the sick, disabled, or children. All care/support workers, nurses, and teachers cannot legally work in the uk without a current DBS check. However the government currently has a back log of over 150.000.00 people (and rising) who cannot start work in much needed services such as the NHS and community support as they are still waiting for their DBS.7 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Michael McNamara

Give old MoD rations to the hungryOver the last few years the MoD has thrown away an increasing number of ORPs (ration packs). Last year they threw away over 12,000 ORPs. That's over 12,000 meals, balanced and high energy, suitable for consumption by someone who has no access to cooking facilities, just dumped. 12,000 people who could have been fed went hungry. And at no cost to the MoD, these meals could have been made available to charities for collection and distribution. This is a terrible example of needless waste.6 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Diana Whitmill

Drug companies should contribute financially to give support for the elderly in social careIt is unethical to profit from a very vulnerable, although massive percentage of the population, in the name of progress. Quality of life has to be a major contributory factor when people are kept alive and "well". How can society justify this unethical practice when all we can offer is a longer life (with the help of medicines) for a great deal of these people who often live in misery and isolation with at best, for many, a 15 minute call from a carer, which may be the only human contact they have on a daily basis, at worst no human contact for several days at a time? My elderly parents (both in their 90's) are fortunate, as they have 5 caring children, who assist in the domestic, shopping , transport, outings and upkeep of their home. Others are not so fortunate. We need to campaign to look at solutions to this ever growing challenge of making the elderly a target for government often directing their "blame" for the state of our health and social care services. They don't just need basic care, but recreation and socialisation to ensure a good quality of life. Ian Wright my local MP (Hartlepool) has ignored my email so please help with this campaign to raise awareness of this plight on behalf of our elderly population and get at least a debate in Parliament on this emotive issue. We owe it to them.14 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Val kitching

Back funding for the NHS in Worcestershire not cuts! The NHS is a lifesaver, more cuts isn't the answer. It is free at the point of delivery, if we need treatment at hospital we don't leave with a bill as in other countries. Privatisation and outsourcing is not the answer either. The NHS needs funding but instead NHS bosses in Worcestershire are drawing up plans to cut and close local services. There’s a funding gap, and two hundred community beds are earmarked for closure across Herefordshire and Worcestershire, for estimated 'savings' of £230 million, these are not savings but cuts! The NHS is already at breaking point, and the facts show that this Government has not been funding it adequately, we are now experiencing the biggest sustained fall in NHS spending in any period since 1951.
