We are in a time of rising cost of living this is a way of of reducing the burden on taxpayers

There is currently no measures to control the traffic and restrict speed limit outside Langmoor Primary School in Oadby. With no speed bumps and only a tiny sign indicating there is a school there, many drivers drive 30+ miles per hour. This regularly occurs during start and end of school time. Heavy vehicles such as trucks, lorries and vans drive pass the road during school drop off and pick up times, creating hazardous situations for primary-age children. With the school on one side of the road and park/playground on the other, and with the parents' cars parked on the road (temporarily) the passing heavy vehicles and frustrated drivers, who want to speed up as usual and make their way through, create high risk for families to walk by. Local authorities should have already put measures in place to control the traffic and restrict speed outside this school just like all other schools in Oadby and Wigston. It's time for the Council to take action to protect safety of our children before a regrettable incident. The Government should be focusing on providing support for ordinary people around the country - not city bankers. Millions of people up and down the country are struggling to make ends meet. As energy, food and fuel prices continue to go through the roof, many of us will be forced to make the impossible choice between heating and eating this winter. This is the wrong policy at the wrong time. Why should city bankers be first in line for help when millions of people around the country don’t know how they’ll keep the lights on over the coming months? These caps on bonuses were introduced to provide a more balanced economy - and to get away from a culture of bankers taking “excessive risks”. If Liz Truss believes in ‘levelling up’ the whole of Britain, then she should prioritise places outside of the City of London and put ordinary people at the front of the queue for support.

The Avenue Campus library was an excellent resource that aided us greatly in our education, it was a great atmosphere to work in, we do not want our education to be deterred in anyway due to its removal.

These highly politically motivated appointments, undermine public confidence. In recent years, personal and political patronage has been the prime motivation in such appointments.

We, the undersigned, residing in The Findings (GU14 9EG) and Lockwood Close (GU14 9EH), we have been served with notice of installation of four telegraph poles each for a private company, toob, to enable further internet cabling. Telegraph poles are preferable to the company ONLY because they are much cheaper to install, giving the company more profit. In our opinion the installation should be made underground, in or alongside existing ducting. It has not been explained why the existing ducting cannot be used and if not, why new channels cannot be dug. It also has not been shown exactly where each pole is proposed to be placed. Surely telegraph poles are outdated, ugly and completely unnecessary? It seems to be a retrograde step. Rushmoor Borough Council (Planning) are simply not interested and have said that toob are using existing General Permitted Development Laws. They do not have to have planning permission to erect these 9 metre poles. They have said this even though one proposed pole will be interfering with the roots of a protected 150-year-old beech tree, the owner of whom has to apply for planning each time the tree needs cutting back. If enough people say they don't want these awful poles, we are sure that the company will find it uneconomical to erect them.

Turtles live a long time, and normally cover thousands of miles. Laying thousands of eggs. Yet sadly Lulu is unable to do that in her tiny tank. Sealife in UK aquariums has no chance to exhibit natural behaviour. Instead, circling, head bobbing and spiralling. All evidence of zoochosis. Due to stress and boredom. It is time for the UK government to bring an end to turtles being held captive in the UK. Sealife belongs in the sea, not in tiny tanks. Over 80 years in captivity - 'FREE LULU' - It's time for Lulu and Gulliver to be free.

This disaster that is climate change is already happening. All over the world there are droughts, searing heat and dried up rivers and lands. Other places have full scale flooding. Lands that once supported human habitation is not doing so now, there will be more hunger & many deaths. This situation will only get worse.More people will be refugees with nowhere to go. The ice cap is melting at an alarming rate and more countries will be inundated with water or burn in the summers of ferocious heat.

Sewage in the Seawater does not belong to a modern society. Keep our oceans clean please. Southern Water has repeatedly released their sewage into the Kent Coast giving false reasons like torrential rain fall last August during a drought period. Where does all the money go from our high water bills ? Please reinvest in modern sewage plants and stop behaving like a third world country!

It is important to not get bogged down with gas and electric prices and solve the problem by using the £40bn from the Bank of England

If this information is made widely to the Public, I see no reason why people would not support a popular suggestion.

Hydraulic fracturing is harmful to the climate ________________________________________________ If natural gas from fracking was not so long ago considered as a bridge from dirty coal to more climate friendly solutions. Indeed, fracking has been proved to be linked to important leaks of methane – a 23 times more potent greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide. FRACKING Contaminates soils, air and water We depend on clean soils in many ways. Feeding ourselves is but one. Clean air is even simpler to comprehend as we breathe the air around us. So if hydraulic fracturing pollutes both soils and air, how can we eat food grown on this land? It Is NOT part of the vital energy transition. Fracking is just polluting and inefficient means of heating our houses and moving our cars and trucks when better solutions are at our disposal. Far better solutions like low carbon energy sources such as renewables (solar, wind, geothermal…) and energy efficiency can be part of an energy transition that is safe for our civilization and our climate. An energy transition based on these two could bring thousands of local jobs and money without any risks. As a matter of facts, it has already started… Fracking consumes vast amounts of precious water ___________________________________________________________________________________ Water as more and more countries are getting drier, using energy sources that consumes vast amounts of water is just sheer madness. The UK is currently facing drought conditions and this is set to continue to get worse in years to come. Climate Progress reported that each fracking job requires several million gallons of water, of which only around a quarter is being recovered. Shale gas drilling has been linked in many occasions to FLAMMABLE drinking water. The Economist published an article on it. Injecting in our environment a cocktail of water, sand and no less than hundreds of chemicals that can cause cancers or are neurotoxins. Not the kind of stuff you want anywhere near you… 5. Causes earthquakes In Ohio Drilling holes in the soil and injecting massive amounts of chemicals and wastewater created earthquakes. A recent study from one of the world’s leading seismology labs quoted by Reuters show that ” powerful earthquakes thousands of miles (km) away can trigger swarms of minor quakes near wastewater-injection wells like those used in oil and gas recovery “ The US Geological Survey (USGS) linked up to 50 earthquakes to fracking in Oklahoma. Magnitudes were ranging from 1.0 to 4.0. Puts arsenic in groundwater tables Arsenic is a poison of choice if you want to dispose of an Emperor or a King. Most unfortunately to people near fracking wells, it also has been found in groundwater near fracking wells. The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has found traces of it on multiple occasions as the Los Angeles Times and ProPublica both reported. Doesn’t benefit We, the People. Because of all the negative side effects, the People can lose a lot because of fracking. The ones who benefit from it really are only the companies conducting it.
