Give us our replacement parking spacesApart from the very real problems this lack of parking will cause in a residential area of family housing, it is completely unacceptable that the council as a developer is failing to meet its own conditions which are there to protect the community. The council is failing to value the established local communities in the Orchard Road area and is acting with out any regard for the needs of existing local residents163 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Christine Peppiatt

Respect and Protect Queen's MarketQueen's Market in Upton Park, East London, is very important to us - we want the market to grow and keep going into the future. That’s why we need the Council to RESPECT AND PROTECT QUEEN'S MARKET and look after it. We value Queen's Market for its Low-priced food - Trusted traders - Fresh, culturally-appropriate food - Generations of experience - Unique products - 166 stall pitches - It’s our social place where communities meet and feel safe - It’s historically over 120 years old, so it’s part of our heritage - It’s an ‘Asset of Community Value' - A great place to start small businesses. Shoppers and traders don't feel part of the big changes Newham is proposing for historic Queen's Market. Sign the petition to show your support for the Market and get the Council to respect shoppers and traders and put us at the centre of talks so our unique market can be preserved and improved.781 of 800 SignaturesCreated by Friends of Queens Market

Tesco, don't shut down the 24 hour Petrol Station and ShopWith fuel and food prices hitting the roof , not all customers can afford to buy in bulk and need to make small manageable purchases on a frequent basis. The shop provided the conveniences for the section of the community who are not in position to buy bulk so the around the clock opening meant they could "buy on need basis." Small items on a frequent basis in line with the income. The loss of 24 hours opening will result in a serious squeeze on peoples budgets as they will now have a shortened window to purchase necessary items which will lead to deprivation. Families on low income will also suffer intensifying child poverty in the community. Turning the fuel station into "pay on pumps only" will also exclude people who either don't have a bank card ,have insufficient funds leading to being overdrawn and into unnecessary debt and those folks who are not IT literate or have the confidence to use the keypads/technology. The loss of jobs and reduced hours of work by the Tesco employees will also exacerbate the unemployment and poverty in the community. The lack of personal touch will also go against Tesco's ethos of being visible in the community and customer care/service. I hope you will seriously consider this matter empathically.102 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Rani Rani

Removal of P&O operators licenceCompanies, especially those owned by unscrupulous foreign holding companies, cannot and must not be allowed to show such a flagrant disregard for UK employment law and has no place in the economy of a country that still attempts to hold some semblence of workers rights. In addition, I call upon all British citizens to boycott all P&O services until these staff are reinstated.187 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Paul Astbury

STOP BIG FASHION HIJACKING THE GRASSROOTS REPAIR MOVEMENTThe Grassroots repair movement is not here to be used as window dressing for the contested sustainability ambitions of major fast fashion corporations. This is not the first time a Big Fashion brand has co-opted an important sustainability event for its own ends. We know from bitter experience that the wrong sponsorship can destroy an important movement. It distracts from the deep work that needs doing and ultimately reinforces a status quo that creates more stuff, more waste, and more emissions. Wessex Roundabout Crossing CampaignThis roundabout is crossed by many pedestrians and cyclists in order to get to school, work and to access shopping and leisure facilities. It has become increasingly busy and dangerous to cross here, where there are currently no controlled crossings: a pedestrian crossing is urgently needed, as proven by a recent Council traffic survey. Our children have been sworn and shouted at when trying to cross on their way to school - very intimidating when you're just 12 years old. A local lady contacted us recently to say she was nearly run over when trying to cross that road to get to work on the Granby estate. Parents who drive their children to school past the roundabout report how vulnerable people are when trying to cross there. The Council has a duty of care to provide safe routes to school; a controlled crossing MUST be installed as quickly as possible, before any accidents resulting in serious injury or even death occur.543 of 600 SignaturesCreated by Denise Harris

Kenyngton Manor Park upgradeWe are fundraising through YourFundSurrey and local Cil funds. To do this, we need community engagement to show support for the project. Feedback from the community research so far shows a real need for a park facility to suit all ages, but more importantly, a need for engagement with the community around any plans. Joining together to improve our local environment will create a sense of ownership, develop and strengthen our community spirit and build relationships between people of all generations. The park has a problem with local youths misusing the park and causing antisocial behaviour. As part of our project, we want to promote the importance of communities working together, looking after and valuing the space and taking pride in it. We aim to include local schools and youth groups in plans to include, rather than exclude them.119 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Hazel Osborn

Senior Bus Passes for Wales and EnglandLiving in Wales I have a seniors concessionary bus pass but I'm not able to use this outside Wales. Currently, according to Traveline Cymru, "you can use your Welsh Concessionary Bus Pass on all local bus services in Wales. You cannot use your Welsh pass for travel in England and you cannot use your English pass for travel in Wales". Joining up bus passes would help thousands of senior citizens in Wales and England, for example when visiting their relatives.585 of 600 SignaturesCreated by Alwyn Bradford
