Getting the homeless off all degrees and families couch surfers, people in sub-standard living space i.e. hostel accomodation, overcrowded flats and not least domestic abuse along with all other situations of abuse in our society. We must explore every avenue of publicity at our disposal i.e. the INTERNET, SOCIAL MEDIA, FACEBOOK, TWITTER, YOUTUBE, INSTAGRAM i.e. the magic of the internet via the family, friends, work colleagues, fellow club members, sports etc.I would appreciate if after signing you could share it on any social media accounts you have. All trade unions, across all sections of our society, and to pass it up the chain to party headquarters. It is in each party's interest and the of the nation's. We don't know when the manifestos will be published in the next two weeks so this is urgent. You may be ware the parties write their manifestos and is their commitment to pass into law. I am involved because at 10 months old I lost my mother from domestic violence and this still affects me emotionally even today. 80 years on it is still happening in increasing numbers and should not be happening in the 21st Century.

This section of the A5 has always been a black spot for serious accidents, but in recent months has become increasingly treacherous for locals and people passing through. There have been 3 serious accidents very recently, including a fatality on October 22nd. Due to the expansion of the Logistics centre at Magna Park, Lutterworth, and the huge numbers of new houses being built in the area, the volume of traffic on this stretch of road can only increase, thereby making it ever more dangerous to turn onto. The junctions at High Cross and Smockington Hollow are particularly dangerous, although any adjoining road along this stretch carries enormous risks.

The police are pushing the government to give them new powers to clamp down on peaceful protests. But with politics as volatile as they are right now, it’s never been more important for people to be able to stand up for what they believe in - we can’t afford to let this happen. Throughout history, peaceful protest has helped change the world for the better. From the Suffragettes, to Greenham Common Women's Peace Camp, to recent Xtinction Rebellion protests the UK has a proud history of peaceful demonstrations for the issues we care about. Giving more power to the police to shut down protests is an attack on our democratic right to speak out about decisions that will shape our future.

The Conservative Party’s candidate for South Cambridgeshire, Anthony Browne, is reported to have used racist and offensive language in articles he had written. He wrote that the UK’s immigration policy risked “letting in too many germs” by welcoming people from the “Third World”. What our politicians say matters. When powerful people say hateful things, it can have a real impact, spreading fear and division - and turning people off of politics. The kind of comments made by Anthony Browne have no place in our politics - and we need to prove to him that people in South Cambridgeshire think it’s wrong. Will you sign the petition and demand a proper apology from Anthony Browne? It’s time to stand up against hatred in politics.

After three years of smear, lies, stories and headlines, many of them bordering on libel, a simple apology is not acceptable when you're aiming for the most powerful job in politics. The UK is divided and volatile, this election is a very significant part of our history. The least we can ask for is the facts. Don't let a liar make it to Downing Street. It's time to call them out. Its therefore imperative that a fact checker is allowed to sit with the leaders during the debate.

There has been a very recent exceptional landmark verdict of a U.S. Court awarding punitive damages against the manufacturer of $8 Billion. The jury resoundingly decided to instruct the manufacturer that they had not adequately outlined the risks of the serious side effects that the drug had been shown to produce from their own research studies. The particular adverse reaction they highlighted was gynaecomastia which is the production of breasts in young males which can eventually produce milk due to excessive production of the hormone prolactin. This is a life changing condition which ultimately requires a traumatic surgical intervention.

STS Lord Nelson is one of two tall ships owned by the charity Jubilee Sailing Trust, which takes mixed-ability crews to sea, changing people's lives. Following a recent emergency appeal to raise £1 million in a week, they raised about £1.2 million, but then very shortly decided to de-commission Lord Nelson. Many of us consider this to be a huge mistake, and wish the ship to keep sailing, doing what she does best.

Trafford Council are proposing to demolish both Stamford Park Schools & construct a new three form entry school on the existing school field. Trafford Council has published a “Vision “document promising a “state of the art “new school and referenced other new schools in the borough; Worthington Park, Bowdon Church Schools as examples of what the new school will look like. The existing school field is much smaller size than the footprint of the existing Infant and Junior school site and as the new school will be designed for three form entry it will have to be three storeys high with limited external space for playgrounds. This proposed building is likely to be completely out of character with the buildings in the surrounding streets and unlikely to be the state-of-the-art new school promised. At no time have Trafford published any plans for the new school. Surely if you are undertaking a consultation exercise it is not unreasonable to expect to see outline plans so the public can form their own opinion of the proposals. The new school will also result in the children losing their playing field. The existing Edwardian school buildings will be demolished to create some outdoor (artificial) pitches and 40 car parking spaces. The use of public transport should be encouraged not increasing the number of cars around a school. These local schools have stood in our community for over 100 years and the demolition of these buildings will be a sad loss to the local area and in an era where sustainability should be paramount, refurbishment of the existing buildings must be the way forward. Whilst we understand there are issues with the existing Infants School this proposal is not the solution. Trafford Council are currently undertaking a consultation exercise gathering opinions from the local community /residents/parents etc. If you have not already done so please complete the online consultation form on the Trafford website though you only have until 17th Nov to submit your form. Given that the new school is being promoted by Trafford it is vital to gather as much support as possible so that the council understand the strength of local opinion. The intention is that this petition is forwarded to Trafford to demonstrate the strength of feeling within the community. If we lose the trees on this land we lose the living entities that filter pollutants keeping our air cleaner and soak up the tons of CO2 that contributes to Climate Change. WBC has agreed there is a Climate Change emergency and this must be taken into consideration. Animals like foxes, bats and owls will be disturbed and made homeless as a result. If we win, the trees carry on filtering our air, the community keeps the value of its majestic tree stock and its green buffer zone and the animals have shelter and food. There is only a short window to get signatures, but every little helps. We care about our mature trees. It is the last real tract of green belt in the area for our health and well-being and for wildlife to exist. Please help us save our trees by signing our petition. Thank you.

The current rate for carers who provide AT LEAST 35 hours of care a week for their loved ones is £66.15 per week. If the carer works for any significant number of hours, this is reduced. But for many carers, the care they provide is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with little or no option to go to work, as who would then care for their loved one? The government provides less than quarter of the minimum wage a week, leaving many carers and their families in a very difficult position financially, when they are already often under extreme stress due to the challenges of providing full time care. But if the state were to look after the person in need of care, in a Care home or similar institution, it would cost several thousand pounds a month and possibly more. Most people would prefer to live at home with their loved ones, not in a care home, so let's make that a properly financed option. I started this petition as I'm a full time carer for a loved one who has Alzheimer's disease. In an ideal world everyone would be paid the real living wage, but currently the fact that carers don't even get the government minimum wage is appalling. Let's get this into the manifesto of all parties for the upcoming election!

Scottish voters will be listening to the debate and will be restricted to the policies of two or three political parties who do not speak for a large proportion of the Scottish Electorate. Further-more, by not allowing the SNP a platform, you are reducing their ability to convert non-SNP voters to consider voting for the party and their policies. We are not asking for any preferential treatment, only that you treat all parties the same. As Scots, we pay the same SKY fees as the rest of the country and it is important that our voices are heard. We were told this was a Union of Equals and we ask SKY TV to ensure that during this election we are made to feel that statement is true.

Hundreds of arrests, fines, records & outstanding court cases MUST BE OVERTURNED; our bodies were harmed by police during peaceful protest; arrests, fines, jail time & criminal records followed. We want an apology for anguish, suffering & time stolen from people who simply wanted to protect their families. Government has now admitted we were right - they cannot safely frack for shale gas without risking uncontrollable &unpredictable seismic activity. We are not and never have been criminals.
