A Crown Post Office is more than people realise it is the hub of a high street, the office was franchised off through no fault of the staff who are highly trained and experienced in serving the community and irreplaceable by self service machines or an unsuitable small counter space. The consultation process was deeply flawed and not advertised meaning that the majority in town had no knowledge of our Crown Post Office or directly managed Post office becoming franchised until it was underway. To this end we have grave concerns regarding the inevitable deterioration in services which will no doubt fall to unacceptable levels in a post office that is well used and was inappropriate for franchise.

We should be supporting local businesses by trying to increase the number of people visiting Clackmannanshire and spending in the local economy. The introduction of parking charges will impact local businesses, reduce tourism and be a tax on local people trying to access their own community. This is a bad decision and the Councillors who supported the charges should reverse their decision without delay.

The government has declared a climate emergency, and committed to making the UK a global leader on the climate crisis. But government documents have revealed that they’re planning to invest millions of pounds meant for green energy into the dirty fossil fuel industry in Argentina. Scientists say if we want to tackle the climate emergency, politicians have to take bold action in the next 15 months - and investing more money into the fossil fuel industry is taking us in the wrong direction. Will you sign the petition now, and call on the government to stop investing in the dirty fossil fuel industry, and start investing in green energy instead?

Having lived in the village for 12 years I have many memories of Anne. She was, to me, the heart of Weobley. There were numerous occasions I would just pop in to see her for a cuppa and a chat and end up leaving with a few flower bulbs, a colouring book or a broom. Whether you are new to the village or have been here for many years, chances are you knew who Anne was and have fond memories of her. This petition is to help show the Parish Council that the people of Weobley believe that she should be honoured in the Rose Garden like others have been. Anne loved her roses and I can think of no better place for her to be remembered. Weobley is a picturesque village which attracts many visitors, whether staying for a small holiday or just passing through on their bikes. Whilst there are currently benches in the garden they do not allow for a comfortable rest nor do they permit for groups whether residents or visitors to sit together to enjoy the hustle and bustle that is our village life. The picnic bench that I would like to have made would be metal framed and similar to those that can be found in the park at the Hopelands. When starting the collection for Anne I never dreamed that I would come across as much resistance as I have from the Parish Council in remembering one of our beloved residents. I ask you, please come together as a community and sign the petition to help me show the Parish Council that this is what the residents of Weobley want.

Train Services are important to residents and the local economy given the Welsh Government Decision to declare a Climate Emergency. Reducing carbon emissions and investing in the Rail Network is critical to meet carbon emission targets by 2030. This line has increased passenger numbers at each of the stations year on year of up to 20% over the last 5 years and continues to grow.

Teaching assistance are extremely valuable staff members within schools. They have many different roles and are essential in providing support to children with increasingly varied needs. Please let's keep these vital members of staff whom our children and their teachers depend on.

Middlewick Ranges (The Wick) have never been built on. Their extensive - and nationally declining - grassland and other habitats support protected birds and nationally scarce species including beetles, butterflies, moths, bats, snakes, lizards, mammals and plants. Local people - mainly from council estates - have walked The Wick for leisure, research and relaxation for 100 years or more.

When I first read this post, the first thing came to my mind was that there will be a lot of empty days in the new decade and this will hit home during the summer months as without the great service that Birmingham vision provides, there will be very little opportunity to enjoy the events that I have mentioned in my post and this is a great shame because Thomas Pocklington have buried the people that it once encouraged to flourish and be confident and independent and I can’t imagine life without the services of Birmingham vision and the company of their excellent staff." The council owned ex-Homebase site is already part car park. The large empty pre-existing warehouse should be remodelled into a multi-storey car park, easily providing as much capacity as Whitefriars. The current park and ride can remain in place and the Homebase site would serve as an overflow, with a bus stop outside. We should be protecting all our green spaces, not destroying them. As the Homebase site is already in existence, it would be sensible to utilise it for this purpose. Maynard Road car park could also be incorporated into the park and ride scheme.

There has been an increase in dangerous driving and speeding on Headley Road, Liphook which has resulted in a number of serious incidents on the zebra crossing near Liphook Infants and Junior School. The crossing is a key route for families travelling to school. The children, families and adults of all abilities who use this crossing perceive this to be a significant risk. Recently people have been hospitalised as a result of drivers not stopping. The community is seeing an increase in 'near misses' during school commuter times and throughout the day. The increase in dangerous driving and speeding could lead to more injuries or even fatalities. Before this happens, the community want to see this crossing improved and the policing of behaviours/speeding to be increased significantly. Whilst we appreciate that this issue is an increasing concern for all residents regarding the arterial roads of Liphook, the zebra crossing, Headley Road, is the main concern of this petition.

The PlayPark provides an invaluable resource to local dog walkers, dog trainers and dog owners. It enables dogs who are otherwise not allowed off lead for various reasons to run free in a safe and secure environment. We know that our users often visit other local businesses too.

As last night's Bulgaria vs England football match showed, racism in the sport is still rife in Europe. People were captured on TV making monkey chants and Nazi salutes towards black players. The racist abuse was so bad that the game had to be stopped twice in the opening 40 minutes. The current Uefa penalties are completely unacceptable and do not deter racists. Issuing financial fines, anti racism posters and partly closing stadiums simply does not work. It's time Uefa got tough.
