Save the Corrib Pubs Community RoomsThese rooms are a well-regarded facility in the area with a great future when used by the community. Many people have attended events at the Corrib Rest and recent attempts by local residents have tried to arrange activities. Pensioners now evicted from their weekly get togethers here have now had to use an unheated hall. Community facilities like this are far more important than 9 luxury flats. The petition was delivered to the planners and now we have the Committee hearing. On Weds 28th June at 7pm we want to try and get as many people as possible to attend the hearing to support the community rooms being kept. please attend if you can at Brent Civic Centre, Engineers Way, Wembley, HA9 0FJ. support is important so please help and attend if you feel strongly about loss of community spaces1,510 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Kevin Barrett

Save Blueberry Hill Footwear in DewsburyBlueberry Hill is a small family business, the last independent shoe retailer based in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. We have been established for more than 55 years and for 30 years we have been selling Dr Martens. Begining of January 2017 Airwair International closed our trade account, the reason been "we are repositioning our brand" and we weren't spending enough with them. Our livelyhood is based around the sale of Dr Martens, without them we may have to close down after 50 years of service. We don't want this to happen. So we want to change their minds with you help.397 of 400 SignaturesCreated by Anjum Rafique

Create a Queer Museum and LGBTQI+ Centre in London1) 2017 is the 50th Anniversary of the passing of the Sexual Offences Act 1967 which partly decriminalised sexual acts between two men in private and aged over 21. 2) As a cultural centre, the queer museum would be a vital space in which to counteract the effects of homophobia, transphobia, racism and religious intolerance, especially important with the rise of right leaning political parties throughout Europe and America and attacks upon the LGBTQI+ community. 3) Some of the demands of the Gay Liberation Front from the 1970s have yet to be met, including the demand that ‘sex education in schools stop being exclusively heterosexual.’ Schools must provide sex and gender education that addresses the needs of LGBTQI+ students, queer histories must find a permanent home, and the LGBTQI+ community must have a place to organize: anything less is a betrayal to the courage of the pioneering queer activists of the 1960s and beyond.563 of 600 SignaturesCreated by Queer Cabinet Brigade

Pay Camp Beaumont Staff A Living WageGroup Leaders at Camp Beaumont are responsible for taking care of our children - an immensely important job. However, despite the fact Camp Beaumont is a London company and their camps are all based in and around London, people working there are currently paid Minimum Wage instead of London Living Wage. Camp Beaumont charges parents £45 a day, much more than other summer camps. So why is it that an 18-year-old taking care of 12 children will only be paid £5.60 an hour, barely enough to cover travel costs? (A single journey on the Tube costs £2.20 in London.) That's under 50p an hour for each child. However, each child's parents are paying £5.62 an hour for this childcare - where is the extra £61.82 per hour going? If Camp Beaumont wishes to recruit and retain high-quality staff to look after our children, they need to start paying their workers above minimum wage. As a parent, I would feel much safer knowing my children were in well-paid and fully-qualified hands.39 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Paul Bennett

Rename Colston Hall by DecemberEdward Colston was Deputy Governor of Royal African Company (RAC) - the dominant slaving organisation in the British Empire. Between 1672 and 1698, the RAC transported around 100,000 enslaved Africans to plantations in the West Indies and America. This included women and children as young as six – each enslaved person was branded with the company’s initials on their chest. More than 20,000 enslaved Africans were killed during the crossings. Their bodies were thrown overboard. Colston, RAC and Merchant Venturers became millionaires from this so-called 'business'. However, Bristol is full of resistance. Since 1920, Bristolians have rallied, boycotted and demanded that Bristol's institutions stop honouring Colston through statues, buildings and ceremonies. The Hall is 150 years old this year - now is the time. Use the 150th year celebrations to finally rename the Hall. Massive Attack boycott the Hall, as do other musicians and artists but the Hall's management continues to turn a blind eye to calls for progress. People of colour have been ignored and excluded even though they make up 16% of Bristol's population. We demand that our institutions reflect our communities and become accessible to all Bristolians. Enough is enough. We are proud of our city - Bristol is a modern, inclusive, multicultural place. We want to be proud of our main music venue. Stop the Tip - Save the VoidThis site is now a unique wild life habitat containing a rich mosaic of grass and shale. It would be nigh on impossible to replicate what nature has produced here. Leaving aside wildlife, the real threat from this application is to the health and well being of local residents which is very serious. The nearby M1 motorway is having a speed restriction imposed to try to reduce high pollution levels another 200 wagon (all diesel) movements a day from this site will only add to a that toxic mix.992 of 1,000 SignaturesCreated by Willy Lane

Save Darwen's JobCentrePeople depend on JobCentres like Darwen's own. They help people to get back on their feet and find a much-needed job after a stage of having been unemployed, which is difficult for anyone. It isn't fair that some people, just because they may have been made redundant or because they cannot find a job on their own, will have to remain unemployed. Darwen is becoming a great town. Let us stay great and keep our JobCentre.122 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Kara Rhodes-Gilrane

Theresa May to nominate Angela Merkel for the Nobel Peace PrizeAngela Merkel has demonstrated global leadership in her response to the refugee crisis. With the rise of the far right and destabilising influences in America the world needs to hold up leaders like Angela Merkel to show other leaders that compassion and action is the way to a better world.3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Isobel Abbott

Allow Ambulances on non-emergency journeys to use Bus LanesMost people are aware of the pressures the Ambulance Service and the NHS are under. What many may be unaware of is the wideranging variances there are in Bus Lane use between Local Authorities. This makes it confusing, and reliant upon local knowledge, as to whether a Bus Lane may be used or not. Ambulances sitting in queues of traffic while Bus Lanes are free doesn't make much sense, as it delays patients and Ambulances when there is an alternative.571 of 600 SignaturesCreated by Chloe Reese

Save our servicesPlease sign Petition and give your support too save all Sheltered Housing Complex's within the Glasgow area.I am currently living within a Sheltered Housing Complex and feel that i need too set up this petition to try save the support that i currently receive. Glasgow City Council(GCC) are cutting the support budget in April 2017 by 30%(£1,000,000)this leaves £2,000,000 to be shared city wide for all Sheltered Housing Support,as of December 2017 this £2,000,000 will be withdrawn leaving nothing in the pot for Sheltered Housing Support. We have an older population and people living longer and Sheltered Housing is a preventative service allowing older people to live in there homes longer and as independently as possible stopping us from reaching the HIGH NEEDS which GCC have stated that they wanted too fund. Sheltered Housing Support tenants to live in their own homes as independently as possible and support them maintain there tenancies. Reducing or removing the support i receive could resulting health deterioration, isolation and increase admission into hospitals, beds blocking because the older person may not or can not go home as there are no support for them until they are able to get back on their feet. Family members also rely on the support provided by Sheltered Housing staff to pick up deterioration in their family members health, they rely on Sheltered Housing staff to make sure there loved ones are safe and well, they rely on Sheltered Housing staff checking that their loved ones are on top off things like paying bills, collecting prescription's when unwell, light shopping, personal care when urgently needed, provide 24hour support and creating a safe environment for their loved ones too live in. All signature's will be collected an taken too GCC to show support in saving sheltered Housing Support. Thanks M Robb16 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Maryanne Jackson
