Stand up for NHS funding in Bury North: David NuttallNHS bosses in North Bury are drawing up plans to cut and close local services. The plan is short on detail - but there’s a £1bn funding gap across Greater Manchester. Services in paediatrics, maternity wards and care for people with learning difficulties could all be reduced. It looks like big changes are on the table. Cuts and closures aren’t the only option. If the government gave the NHS the money it needs, it’d mean decisions like these could be made with patients in mind, rather than saving money. We're calling on our MP, David Nuttall, to stand up for the NHS in North Bury. So far, it doesn’t look like he’s said much. But if thousands of us sign a petition asking him to demand the NHS gets more funding, it’ll show him that he needs to speak out.374 of 400 SignaturesCreated by David Smith

Support the right of Tottenham businesses to remain in placeThese businesses have been trading in the area, employing local people and providing services to the community for decades. The businesses include DW Wood who have been machining wood at its site in Tottenham High Road since 1948, and North London's famous Chick King opposite Tottenham Hotspur football ground since 1981. The Peacock Industrial Estate established since 1986 , home to many businesses where several hundred people are employed in jobs covering skills such as specialist glazers , antique restorers , joinery shops, motor mechanics & a cake factory , to name a few trades and professions. In addition , the demolition plans threaten a NHS Doctors Surgery and Coombes Croft Library . These businesses are the pillar of the local business community and must not be driven out by demolition. They must be retained as part of the future of Tottenham. Haringey Council's proposals will drive these businesses out of the area, negatively affecting the lives of the owners and the people employed.1,256 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Tottenhambiz Group
