Justice For Missing Father/Son/Nephew Ambrose Garfield Gene BallIn order to prevent other young fathers/sons/nephews/uncles disappearing without a trace we feel that a number of failures by the police need to be brought to the knowledge to those at the top. Ambrose went missing after spending the evening in the Fox Pub with 2 friends. He was let out of the back of the pub by a security guard to look for his keys, which he had lost. We were informed by the FLO that Ambrose had been captured on CCTV getting int his car at Arnose Grove, 14 minutes later his car was involved in a crash. Ambrose has not been seen since. One of the friends Ambrose was out with, arrived at Ambrose's mums house at 08.00 hours, apparently within 7 hours of this person last seeing Ambrose. He informed Ruth that Ambrose had been involved in some fights, had crashed his car twice and had simply disappeared. This person also informed her that Ambrose's car had been towed away around 3 a.m. Ruth, Ambrose's mother reported all this to the police twice on the 24th January and once on the 25th January. Ever since Ambrose was reported missing there have been a number of incidences that have concerned us as a family. These are regarding the way the police have dealt with Ambrose's disappearance; the treatment and lack of support his mother Ruth has received from the police since Ruth Brought this to their attention; the inconsistencies in what the police have been telling the family and the failure of the police to follow the correct protocol in relation to the grading of Ambrose's disappearance. If you would like to know more about this case please go to Ambrose's goup which is called "Ambrose baall missing"..2,430 of 3,000 SignaturesCreated by Alexandria Georgina Harrison

Make our MP work for us - StroudWe believe the people of this country are more progressive, caring and informed than politicians think. Our political system makes it difficult for MPs to go against "party lines" even if they wish to, and are therefore open to corruption. We think it's time our politicians were able to genuinely represent us, and this is a simple way to begin. We can vote for TV show contestants by SMS - the technology is already here to make democracy directly and easily available. Why not have a say on privatisation of the NHS, fracking under our homes, or going to war? If the major MP candidates (Conservative, Green, Labour, Lib-Dem) for Stroud would pledge to represent us in this way, we could guarantee that whoever won the seat, the people of Stroud would be listened to. It would free the winning candidate from the lash of party whips and give them a true mandate in line with their duty as an MP, which is to their constituents first and foremost. Will you join us in this call for political renewal? If the answer is yes, please sign and pass on to your networks. Thank you for being involved. NO EXPLORATORY DRILLING IN PONTRHYDYFEN, CWMAFAN, Neath Port Talbot.Pontrhydyfen.....birthplace of Richard Burton, Ivor Emmanuel & Rebecca Evans, now a place of natural beauty where tourism is thriving. All year round, mountain bikers visit nearby Afan Argoed Country Park which boasts one of the finest bike paths in Europe. Visitors also come to the area to walk the Richard Burton Trail. Pontrhydyfen is also home to two rivers, the Pelenna and the Afan, both of which have suffered contamination in the past from the Industrial Age and Coal Mining. Cleaning up the rivers has been both expensive and has taken many years. The Foel Fynyddau forest is rich in wildlife - deer, badgers, pipistrelle bats, foxes and Red Kites, to name but a few. Unfortunately this is where a company, UK Methane, want to drill an Exploratory Borehole to test for shale gas. The people of Pontrhydyfen, Cwmafan and many residents in the Neath Port Talbot area do not want an Exploratory Borehole drilled on Land within the Foel Fynyddau Forest near Pontrhydyfen, Cwmafan, Port Talbot. The proposed Exploratory Drilling development will adversely affect the amenities of residents and visitors and carries a significant risk of: Disturbance to residents of this normally peaceful area from noise, light and traffic movements arising from 24 hour working. Disturbance to local wildlife; in particular badgers and bats Damage to already poorly maintained local roads from constant HGV movements Pollution of local water courses as a result of accidents and spillages on the site.620 of 800 SignaturesCreated by Judith Randall

SAVE HACKNEY'S OLD BOATERS' SCHOOLHOUSE!It is important to celebrate and commemorate the social history of the past and the community education of the future. The site has English Heritage and National Lottery Funded support to proceed forward with a preservation project and more support is forthcoming! The freeholder and Hackney Council promised the site as a Heritage and Arts Centre as early as 2009, but are now reneging on that promise in acquiescing to the freeholder's desires to profit from the site's transfer to residential use. If you have time, register your support in favour of saving the building for Heritage Community use to: [email protected]. And - if you are a Hackney resident - write to your local ward councillor! Stop the Greed! Save the Schoolhouse!1,025 of 2,000 Signatures

Keep Scottish Water in Public HandsTax payers' money should not be handed over to private companies to provide vital services, when those companies are not open to public scrutiny. The availability of fresh water is one of the crises facing our planet and it is therefore imperative that we guarantee that it is preserved for the good our people and not for the good of a greedy corporate business who cannot be trusted to act in that interest.183 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Nora Ramage

Limit bankers bonusesThere is increased inequality in the UK. CEO annual salaries are obscene in this context and no-one, repeat no-one, justifies multi-million annual salaries. We bailed the banks out. Some of these are still making losses AND paying millions in bonuses. This is plain wrong , unfair and disgusting. We need to make this a top 5 election issue.54 of 100 SignaturesCreated by mick beeby

A call for fair private rents, new social housing and secure tenanciesEveryone needs a decent secure affordable home in which to flourish. We therefore call on Brighton and Hove Parliamentary candidates to campaign for the following changes, and to vote for them if elected: • Bring back fair rents - a “Living rent” (achieved by rent controls) • Protect private tenants with long secure tenancies • Institute registration of all private landlords to ensure minimum standards of fire safety, energy efficiency and a decent home standard for private housing • Abolish the Right to buy and lift borrowing ceilings and restrictions so councils can again build social rented housing • Link rents policy to affordability not the market • End discrimination against tenants on benefits3,112 of 4,000 SignaturesCreated by diane montgomery

Care Before CostMental health services in Sefton are currently provided by Inclusion Matters, a locally run company. Their staff provide a high-quality service. South Sefton CCG and Southport & Formby CCG have decided to commission the service from cheaper providers from April 2015. The contract for the service has been awarded to two organisations based outside Sefton: Cheshire and Wirral Partnership and Insight UK. Staff have now been informed that the new providers plan to make staff redundant. This is despite previous assurances being given by the providers to the CCGs that they would provide a service of the same consistency and quality. South Sefton CCG and South Formby CCG have made a poor decision based on cost, not quality of care. The decision will impact on jobs and on the accessibility and quality of the service. For the good of vulnerable people, committed staff and the local community, the CCGs should reverse their decision and put care before cost.761 of 800 SignaturesCreated by Lyndsey Deakin

Stop Cuts to Funding for Grammar Schools in SouthendFour outstanding grammar schools in Southend (Southend High School for Boys, Southend High School For Girls, Westcliff High School for Boys, and Westcliff High School For Girls) are facing an urgent funding crisis as budget forecasts show that they will not be able to cover costs of all their lessons in the next few years due to loss in government funding. This means young adults of high academic ambition and excellence from all backgrounds in the local area are having their education negatively affected. These four schools, as well as many other successful schools around the country, have long accepted a lower rate of funding because of their grammar school status. All schools have regularly received 'Outstanding' Ofsted reports and this success is in jeopardy. These schools are facing severe cuts and have had to introduce cost cutting measures including increasing class size, reducing class equipment and staff and reducing the number of subjects taught to pupils. These schools have survived and prospered for over a century and through two world wars. They have produced some of the brightest talents in the country in various industries. We must fight to keep up this prestige and continued excellence in some of our best schools. Protect Scotland's remaining wild land from developmentThe proportion of Scotland from which built development could not be seen has dropped by two fifths in 11 years, to 27% in 2013 - an immense change in Scotland's landscape. The remaining wild land has been officially mapped by Scottish Natural Heritage for inclusion in national planning policy. We the undersigned support the Mountaineering Council of Scotland in calling for no further industrial developments to be permitted in the areas of wild land that remain. Protecting the remaining wild land in this way will have many benefits: - Wild mountain landscapes form a vital part of Scotland's culture. - Wild and challenging landscapes inspire people to become more physically active, helping to combat national problems with inactivity; there is also strong evidence that they improve mental health - Tourism is one of Scotland's largest industries, and is by far the largest source of employment in the more remote communities that lie close to areas of wild land (the wild land itself, by definition, does not contain any communities). We need to protect jobs in these communities that depend on the continued existence of wild landscapes nearby. - Local councils will benefit from reducing the high costs they are currently incurring in having to deal with planning applications for inappropriate developments in wild land areas; the planning process, public inquiries and appeals often taking years. - The renewable energy industry will benefit by having been given clarity that wild land is not a suitable location for development. This will save money, time, controversy and reputational damage through planning battles in these areas. Renewable energy may be a vital part of Scotland's future, but wind farms - like all other large scale developments - can be sited elsewhere, in landscapes where visible development and intrusion is already prevalent. When wild land is developed, it is lost forever. More is being lost each year. We must protect what now remains of these precious landscapes.12,006 of 15,000 SignaturesCreated by David Gibson
