Donald Trump's ill-judged, offensive and divisive response to 3/5/17, and his internet harassment of London's democratically elected Mayor, disqualify him for the honour of a state visit. This petition calls on Theresa May to invite the elected representatives of the UK Government to review its offer of a state visit to Donald Trump, in response to the offence that Trump's comments on 3/5/17 have caused to huge numbers of people within the communities of London and the UK; most importantly, those directly affected by the terrorist attacks.

MITIE Group PLC is the UK's single largest provider of immigration detention centers. Inspections have severely criticised these facilities for detaining people for 'unreasonably long' periods (even when medical and mental health professionals have recommended their release) in 'desolate' and insanitary conditions. Other exploitative practices include the use of inmates to perform essential maintenance work, with payment of only £1 an hour, while incidents of serious self-harm quadrupled in 2 years at one immigration detention centers operated by MITIE. Durham University has a long and proud record of respect for human rights and social justice, a record that is being tarnished by our association with immoral companies like MITIE. Working with these firms is an embarrassment to the student body and the university as a whole, this is why we are calling VC Stuart Corbridge's administration to cease all relations with MITIE (firstly by not renewing their current £5 million contract, due for renewal this year) and to look into updating the University's procurement policy to include more human rights requirements.

We need to hold to account those responsible for funding terror and those who maintain normal relations, this can only be achieved by tackling those who fund them head on and are called out publicly.

For someone who's concert was the stage for a barbaric act of terrorism she bravely and unselfishly showed the world a better way and should be praised for it. So many celebs get honoured for nothing and this young lady should be praised for her compassion

Gravesham Borough Council want us, the residents, to take any excess to the tip ourselves. This is NOT what we pay our council tax for. This will be a requirement for ALL families, every single week. Some do not even have cars, what will happen to the rubbish then? There will be MORE rubbish on the streets, and an increase in rats and foxes attacking refuge. There needs to be a change, this has not been thought out well at all, and is nothing short of cutting corners to save cost.

As parents and other local community members, we are worried about the health impacts, among many other impacts, that the exploratory drilling and fracking in our area will cause. Licences have already been granted in this area, and exploratory drilling may well take place before the end of 2017. Water companies have already warned that drinking water could be contaminated with methane gas and chemicals used in fracking, in any drilled area. These are our villages, where we and our children live, grow up and go to school. This is their home and safe place. If there should even be the smallest risk that their health would be affected by fracking or exploratory drilling, we should be able to object to it and our MP should object to plans*, in the best interest of his or her constituents. *We ask that they object to action which includes exploratory drilling as well as actual extraction, whether it uses less or more than the prescribed cubic volume at each stage or in total - if less, it can slip through and be carried out under current legislation, without planning permission, or giving locals the chance to formally object.* Fracking uses huge amounts of water that must be transported to the fracking site, which is going to have an environmental impact. Other possible risks include: - disposal of significant quantities of radioactive waste water - thousands of HGV movements for every frack - noise pollution - risk to local wildlife and our beautiful villages and surrounding countryside - It is understood that house prices may also be negatively affected in a fracked area. Whichever way we all vote, we want the elected MP to pledge to proactively fight fracking in this area, for the sake of the people who live here.

• Crawley Town Hall is a significant twentieth-century building worthy of preservation; it is the public face of the New Town and as such has iconic status. • The interiors are particularly well designed and represent the best of the era, particularly the early elements of ‘Minimalism’ • The loss of this building would be to lose an important example of iconic new town design with a high quality of both materials and detail • Of even greater loss would be that of the work of a significant architect and interior designer, Max Clendinning, who’s interior design works have been an influence on design to the present day • Crawley has historical importance as one of the first post-war New Towns to be planned • Crawley’s design principal is open, low rise and airy • The demolition is to make way for three 9 -10 storey tower blocks of flats and offices. Completely out of character with the ideas and history of the town • A new Town Hall is simply a waste of money and a destruction of our heritage

Euston Road and Hampstead Road are two highly polluted areas in Central London not far from the Telecom Tower. 12 to15 mature large trees in St. James' Gardens and several more in front of Euston station, highly valuable in combatting pollution damage to our health caused by constant heavy traffic, are to be cut down to make way for a HS2 which is being built to knock 20 mins off a journey to the West Midlands. St. James' Gardens provides a very pleasant haven of tranquility in the midst of a busy, polluted area at the back of Euston Station and supports wildlife- young birds. Historic gravestones and a monument provide an impressive reminder of our history ( sailors intercepting slave ships) in the 19th century. I used to play there when I was a child on the swings, now replaced by a well-used sports pitch; a toddlers' playground also exists. HS2 has been passed by Parliament but is there really NO WAY that this company cannot preserve the scarce bit of beautiful nature that has existed in this area for so many years and gives respite to so many? Furthermore, Camden Council has, apparently of necessity, sold community green space to private developers. Again, in a built-up residential area, these green spaces are precious for adults and children alike : of course, it's the trees again which have to go to make way for the luxury flats. If you value peace of mind and your health, please sign this petition. I can't tell you how much it means to me mentally and physically, to be in a beautiful, quiet space and, judging by the scarves which have carefully been tied round all the trees to be chopped; so do many others.

Since 2010 the government has cut the uk wide police force to unsafe levels. We must stand united with our police and demand the government reverse all cuts to the police so that they have the resources to protect and defend our way of life.
