Wensum Lodge was once well-known as a thriving Norfolk County Council-run arts hub for the Eastern region. It is still the only place in the region, and certainly in Norwich, to offer accredited qualifications in many of the creative courses run there. These are all due to be cut in September 2017, with only 3 months notice. The recent numerous managerial staff changes and funding squeezes have caused problems at the Lodge, which might be ameliorated were they able to attract more paying students - something which they can do if their online presence and communications strategy improved, and if they continued along the accreditation route. Current students enrolled on courses at Wensum Lodge are often making career changes, or are developing skills in the creative industries which they then plan to use to undertake freelance work - all of which add to the creative life of the city. The value of hosting accredited courses is significant: they are instrumental in training individuals that have allowed our region to develop a strong reputation for the creative arts, and they facilitate the development of careers in those areas. This makes a positive impact on multiple levels: for the creative economy of the area - financial and reputational, not to mention the mental health of students taking these courses. Cutting courses that are poorly advertised and administered makes very little sense when the courses themselves are highly subscribed. On a practical level, some classes could be relocated to more appropriate providers, but the arts courses that are offered cannot. For example, the nearest places offering accredited Ceramics courses were in London, and then almost exclusively in the northwest of the UK. What Wensum Lodge should be doing is investing in publicity and learning support networks (computing, and online presence, amongst other things) in order to encourage more paying students rather than cutting classes that are popular and a valid part of the Eastern region's creative artistic ecosystem.

We’re a family business with 30 years experience and we want to do things to help and appease people. We have moved the car wash to the front, have turned the jets to low pressure, fitted special nozzles on the jets, have rubber mats on the floor and will put sound-proofing screens up. There has been a business here for over 100 years and it’s a massive site to be empty. On top of that, within 12 to 18 months we want to employ up to 35 staff, paying proper wages and looking after people and the local community. We want to continue serving the local community and hope you will support us in our application for planning permission.

Food is a precious resource the production of which has an impact on the environment. And people are currently hungry. And you are supposed to be the ethical shop.

There is no firm recognition within the majority of the psychiatric establishment within the NHS of the existence of Dissociative identity disorder. Many sufferers are brushed aside & accused of being liars & are often accused of fabricating the symptoms. People with DID need to be recognised & supported within our community.

Trump's decision to withdraw the US from the Paris Agreement could have devastating consequences for all of us. This short sighted move designed to protect the American economy by removing regulation related to emissions cannot be allowed to work. It is all of us who will pay the price, and we cannot allow US polluters to profit from this.

We have had a post office in the village of Kedington over 50yrs. It is essential to keep the post office in the village as it caters to the elderly, the disabled, people without transport that would not be able to get to the nearest town 5 miles away. Our post office is run exceptionally well and this must not be allowed to happen.

This is a very important issue for the OAP's and disabled members of the communities affected. These people use our bus service as a way of staying completely independent for as long as possible. These changes to this bus route will leave the most vulnerable members of our community alienated. A short while ago, an elderly relative of mine walked home with a couple of bags of shopping. This is around the same distance as he would be forced to walk to and from his now closest bus stop - if these changes go ahead. Unfortunately due to this he suffered a heart attack. Thankfully he made a full recovery. My worry is that the people like the relative I speak of will just give up and stay at home. They shouldn't have to do this. We have had a bus service to Afoneitha for as long as I remember, having grown up there. It's important to our OAP's and disabled folk that this service isn't taken away from them. Stop the changes to service 3 and 4 - let Rhostyllen, Garden road and Afoneitha keep their vital bus service.

WE, THE UNDERSIGNED, DEMAND A TRULY, UNIVERSAL RIGHT TO ROAM SIMILAR TO THE SCOTTISH 2003 LEGISLATION. The English and Welsh countryside needs to be opened up for recreation and leisure. Walking/rambling is one of the top pastimes and it is very important for mental and physical health (e.g. combatting Depression, obesity). Walkers/ramblers greatly respect and value wildlife and the British countryside. Many species are facing extinction. Former Minister of State for The Environment, Labour’s Left Wing (the late) Michael Meacher’s Right to Roam policy (2000 Act) needs to be extended so that anyone can (responsibly) walk on any “cart” tracks and farm land (subject to exceptions), akin to Scotland’s 2003 legislation. Michael’s Act only provided limited access to the countryside, via relatively small areas called “Access Land.” Michael also created the South Downs National Park. This has been its saviour, as it protects the beautiful Downs from the current ravages to the countryside by almost unfettered developments. Changes in the Planning Laws (and Government policy) unleashed the developers. They love to build upon Green Field Sites, often in beautiful rural locations, to maximise profits. The unique British countryside is a major attraction for the Tourist Industry. Greater local access to the countryside, generally, should reduce the stress on the National Parks (e.g. The Lake District) through overuse (e.g. erosion of foot paths). There should be greater financial support for environmental groups, conservationists, rural education and the farm industry, especially small farmers. This would be part of the “deal.” Historically, under the Enclosure Acts since the 18th century, the “gentry” and landowners “stole” the land from the “common people.” True Right to Roam would give some recompense for these past injustices. Arguably, many farms have been bought over and over again by the Public Purse, through subsidies. Since the 19th Century, there was a strong lobby for the Nationalisation of land (Fabian pamphlet 1958), although this is not the aim of this petition. Although aimed to be discussed in Parliament, political parties might wish to include the principles behind this petition in their manifestos. Vic Parks June 2017

This is an international problem, which met with an international solution - and Britain must join the international condemnation of America's terrible, selfish decision. We do not want to live in a world dominated by bullies. We do not want to live in a Britain too scared to do anything America doesn't want. We demand leadership that makes us proud to be British. If Theresa May cannot condemn America's decision to condemn our planet, will she ever stand up for anything? British people stand up for others, and we stand up for what we believe in. We do not want a Prime Minister who licks the boots of the American president. Theresa May must show strong leadership and sign the international letter condemning Donald Trump and his abandonment of the Paris agreement.

We need to save this world for our children from catastrophe of climate change caused by greedy and short term act of Donald Trump on behalf of Americans.

The University of Stirling should take the opportunity of its 50th anniversary to allow its students to graduate from somewhere far more interesting than a sports centre tennis hall. It is, frankly, disrespectful to its graduands to do so. Stirling Castle has a main hall and a church that could accommodate - if not as many - an acceptable number of attendees. Arrangements could easily be made to allow for more guests to attend the ceremony. Furthermore, as such an iconic part of Stirling, how better to integrate the university with its surrounding city than this? Dunblane Cathedral is a far larger location, which would be perfectly suited for this occasion. However, it is obviously a religious setting and slightly removed from the campus. Practicality deems it a better place for size, but there are problems that may be a hindrance.

As there has been footage of violence at both Arsenal's and Tottenham's football grounds, it is only a matter of time before someone gets hurt.It is a public right of way on match days to pass through, however when the potential of trouble is imminent local residents are denied this access. There have been many incidents of abuse and threats made on social media which I find childish and classless. If they have paid dues like every other filming body to the local authority then so be it, however it is a public space for use by all. I am writing to the club to establish who funds the security of the said people and only ask, not that they stop, they have the right to an opinion, but that it moves for safety reason into somewhere more suitable as they did in their beginnings .
