People who have assets of more than £10,000,000 should pay a wealth taxThe multi-millionaires will not suffer from the wealth tax, as they will still have more money than they need. Some of them, known as "Patriotic Millionaires" will actually welcome that fact that they are asked to contribute. The money that the Wealth Tax will raise will enable the Chancellor of the Exchequer to restore the Winter Fuel Allowance, and to reverse the recent changes to Disability Allowances and Personal Independence Payments (PIP), changes which will otherwise increase poverty.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Ruth Bradshaw

STAMP TAX FOR DISABLED PEOPLE BEING FORCED TO MOVE?It's not just me this affects, but many, many others. I was diagnosed with hereditary spastic paraplegia in 2018. This attacks balance and lower limb strength, rendering walking impossible. It is progressive. In 2019, I had a visit from occupational health and, because I live in a new-build flat with stud walling (too thin to hold grab-rails), stairs and no lift, I was told to seek alternative accommodation. This is extremely expensive. added to this, since the time of my diagnosis, despite over 100 applications, I have been unemployed and living off savings and govt. benefits (PIP and ESA). Because of the cost, I have delayed buying alternative accommodation until now when I can no longer walk. I used to be a teacher. Because my wife has a house in her home country, I have to pay the higher rate of stamp tax - over £6,000. In fact, adding buying and selling fees, plus survey, just moving will cost over £14,000. It is not a choice that I have to move. I think this is extremely unfair.4 of 100 SignaturesCreated by James FITZGIBBON

Resident Parking extending hoursAs a disabled person, I struggle to find parking spaces - especially during the weekends. I am only allowed to park at Colin Road and Meyrick Road, and usually, during the week after 6pm and weekends all Saturday and Sunday, its very challenging for me and other disabled people to park because there is a church and a community centre that have events, taking all our spaces.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by fabricia cucco

Stop Unfair Charges for Blackwall and Silvertown TunnelsThe proposed tolls for the Blackwall Tunnel and the new Silvertown Tunnel will place an unacceptable financial burden on thousands of Londoners who rely on these vital river crossings daily. At a time when the cost-of-living crisis is already squeezing households, these charges will: 1. Punish Low- and Middle-Income Earners: Many key workers, carers, and commuters have no viable public transport alternatives for their journeys. Forcing them to pay daily tolls is a regressive tax that will deepen inequality. 2. Damage Local Businesses: Small businesses, tradespeople, and delivery drivers operating across the river will face higher operational costs, which could lead to job losses or price hikes for consumers. 3. Increase Congestion and Pollution Elsewhere: Drivers unable or unwilling to pay the tolls will divert through residential areas like Greenwich, Poplar, and Canning Town, worsening air quality and road safety for families and schools. 4. Fail to Address Root Causes: Tolling is not a solution to congestion. Instead, investment in affordable, reliable public transport and infrastructure upgrades (e.g., extending the DLR or improving rail links) should be prioritised. The Silvertown Tunnel was supposed to “ease congestion”—not become a profit-making scheme The Silvertown Tunnel project was justified as a way to reduce traffic at the Blackwall Tunnel. However, slapping tolls on both crossings feels like a betrayal, turning essential infrastructure into a revenue generator at the expense of everyday Londoners We demand: - mmediate cancellation of all tolls for the Blackwall and Silvertown tunnels. - Transparent funding alternatives** for the Silvertown Tunnel, such as reallocating funds from central government or fairer taxation of large corporations. - Investment in sustainable transport solutions to reduce reliance on cars without penalizing those who have no choice. Sign now to protect our communities! By signing this petition, you stand with residents, workers, and businesses across London in rejecting these unjust charges. But we the rate payers are paying fines they incur by not following the rules. Wasting money they could use to improve their resources.5 of 100 SignaturesCreated by David Mason

Keston Road Petition for Re-paving of FootpathThis is essential because the current footpaths were surfaced with bitumen many years ago as a temporary measure. The footpaths are now cracked, uneven and in poor condition creating a hazaardous thoroughfare for elderly, children and residents with disabilities.72 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Linda Gibson

School/Pre-School Crossing patrolRecently my nephew was knocked down by a car outside of Notley Green Primary School, and Little Notley’s Preschool. It was just between the duck pond coming from the school and crossing towards Little Notley’s Pre-school. My nephew was extremely lucky and the car stopped in time and he was not badly hurt. However he did end up with a few bruises and was very frightened by the incident: However, if this had happened to a smaller child or if the car had not stopped in time this could have been extremely scary. The traffic that goes through this area of the estate is very busy before school starts and after it finishes. There are often cars parked everywhere including on the double yellow lines and over the drop curb crossings directly in front of the school. The traffic coming into and out of the estate is also quite fast during these times. There are no speed restrictions in place, no slow down signs and no official crossings to make it easier to cross the road safely with young children.669 of 800 SignaturesCreated by Jade Norcott

Ofwat have disgracefully allowed Thames Water to raise prices this year alone by 40%The regulator is useless, they let Thames Water get away with polluting our streams, rivers and seas, all they do is fine them every now and then, they don't care because they still get paid. There's no incentive for change and they couldn't care less1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Mark Riley
