Residents of the Tall Trees development in Beckview are living with unfinished roads and raised ironworks that have been left in place for months. These hazards are causing repeated damage to vehicles and creating unsafe driving conditions throughout the estate. Homeowners have paid full price for their properties yet are forced to drive daily on unsafe, unfinished roads. The ongoing dispute over responsibility cannot continue at the expense of residents’ safety and vehicle damage. Immediate action and accountability are needed to make Tall Trees safe for everyone.

The large sandpit and wooden climbing structures within it, have provided endless numbers of children with an amazing space for creative play and development. Many children spend hours at a time in this sandpit area. Many friendships have been made and young people come together across a range of ages. Parents, family members and carers also find the space a perfect place to sit and enjoy family time whilst building closer relationships with others from across the local communities and further afield. Replacing this area with 'tiger mulch' (a rubber based surface) will completely change this amazing space, arguably reducing the time people both young and older, from all walks of life, spend together here. It also makes parts of the wooden climbing structures that are in this area redundant, as they are designed for creative play using sand (and there will be no more sand there). Whilst there is another sand pit area in the playground, this is smaller and was, for various reasons designed predominantly for toddler aged children, to have their own dedicated space.

An unarmed British registered aid ship, named  Madleen, of the Gaza Freedom Flotilla, was intercepted, boarded illegally, in international waters, by Israeli forces on 8-9 June 2025. 12 International and unarmed volunteers on board were forced off the ship by the Israeli forces -  4 have been deported and 8 are now being held by the Israeli government against their will. The Madleen's voyage  is one of several attempts to send humanitarian aid to Gaza via small flotillas of ships. It is the responsibility of all citizens of the world to speak out.  Genocide is happening in Gaza.  The volunteers on this ship were carrying needed supplies for Palestinian people.   The Madleen, being a British ship, is an extension to UK territory, therefore the UK Government must show commitment to international law and to the 8 remaining detainees and take action against Israel . We ask that you email your local MP to put pressure on the UK Government to act and ask that you would please sign this petition to ask the UK Government to act now.

Other people should join this campaign because roadworks and closures are affecting everyone — causing daily delays, missed school and work, increased stress, and higher pollution. By standing together, we can demand better planning, smarter coordination, and real accountability from those in charge. When more voices speak up, we send a powerful message that Londoners deserve roads that work for people, not against them. Change will only happen if we all push for it. 

This is not MY campaign, it is Your campaign. I am an old man, a product of the past, and of an age where charity and service were taken for granted. This as a campaign for young people. People whose lives and ambitions are yet to come, and have the wish to live them in health and comfort. People who can look around themselves and see what's happening, who can look across the Atlantic and see the realities of the system that we are in danger of becoming a carbon copy of, that can look far closer and see some of the tragedies that are already happening close to home with just the small changes that have already occurred, and people also who have the foresight and strength to change what is happening and replace it with something far, far better.  The general condition of the people's health and welfare, has for a variety of reasons medical, political and environmental never been as bad throughout the entire history of the Health Service as it is today.  We are starting from a level  far lower than at the NHS's original inauguration, and the root causes of this low commencement level will have to be addressed at the same time and speed as the rebuilding of the service to have any chance of a successful outcome. It will be an uphill struggle. The original inauguration of the NHS took place at a time of great hope and enthusiasm, we had just emerged from a devastating war and were determined to build a better world in the future. The present time is one of doom, gloom and general apathy, where reasons why "not to bother" are far more important than the reasons to succeed.

More Impact in numbers.

In September the Welsh Government has proposed to cut down school transport and only offer the services to children attending the nearest local school. At this time children who are attending schools further afield are able to attend the school of their choice with the current bus services offered. This affects the children firstly.  As of September 2025 these facilities are being cut. This is not only going to affect the amount of cars on the roads but it will also target families on lower incomes, families with vulnerabilities and could potentially affect many young people's education if they are to forced to attend a different school due to the cuts. This does not support the proposed bill offered by the Welsh Government but acts against it.  Public transport services have already been cut in recent months and now they are cutting the school transport services. This area is desperately in need of more transport. Not the cuts that are being enforced. This will have a negative impact on many families, specifically those who are in need of more support. But again this will first affect the children first who are already settled in their chosen schools and potentially affect their progress in their education. 

The importance of keeping domestic cats indoors is to save our native species  In my own garden one cat has killed 9 nesting great tits 7 nesting wrens and a group of slow worms  This cannot continue across the country all our wildlife is fighting for survival cats are making things much graver for them and long term our fragile eco systems will be destroyed 

Why not make a tiny change to save a small amount of tax budget? Isn’t it ridiculous that with so many strains on the budgets to help people in dire straits, we get paid an allowance we don’t need?

It affects everyone!

Energy (Electric) costs form a significant part of the running costs of a house especially older rural houses that do not lend themselves to insulation improvement. Electricity bills can be halved by adopting both panels and batteries I have both and can absolutely vouch for the benefits. The addition of both solar and batteries can make you immune from most power cuts.

Some shifts start as early as 3am and 4am and some are night shifts.
