“Space on public roads is very limited, and leaving a vehicle unmoved on a public road for more than six months is causing problems in communities across the country.” 

The proposed tolls for the Blackwall Tunnel and the new Silvertown Tunnel will place an unacceptable financial burden on thousands of Londoners who rely on these vital river crossings daily. At a time when the cost-of-living crisis is already squeezing households, these charges will:   1. Punish Low- and Middle-Income Earners: Many key workers, carers, and commuters have no viable public transport alternatives for their journeys. Forcing them to pay daily tolls is a regressive tax that will deepen inequality. 2. Damage Local Businesses: Small businesses, tradespeople, and delivery drivers operating across the river will face higher operational costs, which could lead to job losses or price hikes for consumers. 3. Increase Congestion and Pollution Elsewhere: Drivers unable or unwilling to pay the tolls will divert through residential areas like Greenwich, Poplar, and Canning Town, worsening air quality and road safety for families and schools.  4. Fail to Address Root Causes: Tolling is not a solution to congestion. Instead, investment in affordable, reliable public transport and infrastructure upgrades (e.g., extending the DLR or improving rail links) should be prioritised.  The Silvertown Tunnel was supposed to “ease congestion”—not become a profit-making scheme The Silvertown Tunnel project was justified as a way to reduce traffic at the Blackwall Tunnel. However, slapping tolls on both crossings feels like a betrayal, turning essential infrastructure into a revenue generator at the expense of everyday Londoners We demand:  - mmediate cancellation of all tolls for the Blackwall and Silvertown tunnels.  - Transparent funding alternatives** for the Silvertown Tunnel, such as reallocating funds from central government or fairer taxation of large corporations.  - Investment in sustainable transport solutions to reduce reliance on cars without penalizing those who have no choice.  Sign now to protect our communities! Its not only important in terms of the environment issues.  But we the rate payers are paying fines they incur by not following the rules. Wasting money they could use to improve their resources.

This is essential because the current footpaths were surfaced with bitumen many years ago as a temporary measure. The footpaths are now cracked, uneven and in poor condition creating a hazaardous thoroughfare for elderly, children and residents with disabilities.

Recently my nephew was knocked down by a car outside of Notley Green Primary School, and Little Notley’s Preschool. It was just between the duck pond coming from the school and crossing towards Little Notley’s Pre-school.  My nephew was extremely lucky and the car stopped in time and he was not badly hurt. However he did end up with a few bruises and was very frightened by the incident:   However, if this had happened to a smaller child or if the car had not stopped in time this could have been extremely scary.  The traffic that goes through this area of the estate is very busy before school starts and after it finishes. There are often cars parked everywhere including on the double yellow lines and over the drop curb crossings directly in front of the school. The traffic coming into and out of the estate is also quite fast during these times. There are no speed restrictions in place, no slow down signs and no official crossings to make it easier to cross the road safely with young children. 

With a rising population and increasing demand for housing the housing market is hyper inflating, this needs to change to provide fair and affordable housing for all walks of life. THIS COULD AFFECT YOU!

The regulator is useless, they let Thames Water get away with polluting our streams, rivers and seas, all they do is fine them every now and then, they don't care because they still get paid. There's no incentive for change and they couldn't care less

There is a bill currently in motion and looking to get passed that us called Data (use and access) Bill which will give the government the power to not only access your whole data history, but to openly sell it to private corporations. There us absolutely no reason why our data should be used in this way and this is concerning for all who value their privacy. Tell Starmer NO TO OUR DATA. 

This bill needs to die immediately!! They are proposing to unlimited access to all your data access multiple departments and to over seas! Why is that needed to give your data to foreign countries  Bank records credit history health history all your bills anything you've applied for children under your care what you buy on Amazon what things you look at online!!!! The government just got told by apple in America they can't have access to your phone remotely this government is out of control this is another over reach it must be stopped
