The Bodlondeb Residential Home is a much loved home for the elderly members of the community, and as a publically owned building it belongs to the people of Ceredigion. Its redevelopment or sale needs to bring benefit to the local community. However, the council may be planning to allow a redevelopment of Bodlondeb that is not appropriate or suitable in this location. But if the building is offered to the community then it can continue to be a positive asset for the neighbourhood's elderly population and for families and younger people. There are many ways the building could be used, for example elderly services, a day centre, clinics, sensory spaces for young people with autism, childcare, studio and maker and start up business spaces, training and meeting spaces, please feel free to add your suggestions in the comments when you sign the petition!

As people's budgets are getting more and more squeezed, more and more people are going without their vital medication. According to the Prescription Charges Coalition, 1 in 3 people with a long-term condition has been unable to pick up their medication, adding more costs to the NHS. As England is the only part of the UK which has prescription charges, it's time to do away with them once and for all!

Corby Borough Council puts the health and fitness of it's residents on the top of their agenda, and is committed to supporting public and private health and fitness facilities. Corby has the international swimming pool, The Tennis Centre, The Table Tennis Centre, Adrenalin Alley and many more clubs and private companies that offer ways for the many (not just the few) to keep fit. Corby Borough Council also has a wildlife corridor approach to developments which supports and protects the largest area of woodland within an urban area in the UK. What Corby Borough Council does not have is the proper financial support from the Conservatives on the Northamptonshire County Council and in the government. These should be the priorities not "white elephant projects" costing millions that will only help a tiny minority.

People may be killed when crossing road as it is dark at 1600 and there are no lights, it is in the school bus route, dog walkers, runners and pedestrians in general use this route and it is also a high volume in traffic area and vehicles don't slow down

Our successful charity shop is the only visible support in the Swanley area for the elderly and sells really useful clothes and goods at low prices to help those in need in our community. We also have a 5-day a week walk in advice and information service and we help in tackling isolation and loneliness for the elderly in our community. It has also helped older volunteers gain the confidence to get back into other employment. The shop is profitable so us volunteers are at a complete loss as to why the trustees are closing it and want them to reverse their decision to fulfil their remit as trustees and in the best interests of the elderly in our area.

The EU referendum represented a low point in post war UK democratic politics. Only now are problems coming to the fore that were not considered in the referendum and not debated at the time. Oeople did not know the consequences of them and Brexit impact reports are being unacceptably hidden from the people. This is unacceptable and we need a final decision when we know exactly what Brexit means and that means the full terms of an any deal.

People in receipt of benefits are generally, by their very nature of having to claim a benefit, in a vulnerable financial situation. The changes to the benefit system as JCP centres roll out the Universal Benefit programme is causing considerable and maybe severe financial disruption for some of our most vulnerable members of society. These persons SHOULD NOT HAVE TO FINANCE the rollout by having to pay 55p p/min to make a call with a query they have about the changes that are affecting the fabric of their lives. Many people end up on hold - AT 55P PER MINUTE! It is immoral to charge people to use this helpline.

It’s essential that Tylorstown and the wider community of the Rhondda Fach Keep this pool. We have seen closure after closure a loss of services and amenities. We have very poor transport links so it can be difficult to travel to other pools. The loss of the the pool will be detrimental to the children and residents of Tylorstown- other options must be considered.

Children do not have many areas which are safe to play in as it is. In todays society, it is more important now than ever that our children have safe play areas to access close to their homes.

As a student in bootle I can see how our schools our being affected everyday and they are having to make hard decisions to cut things from our school to save money. For example, my school has had to get rid of a reward system recently due to the high cost and the money needing to be spent elsewhere. Therefore this will have a bad affect on students behaviour,causing disruption and not helping within the community either. As well as this I have saw my school cut the numbers of teachers such as 3 geography teachers to 2 even though it gained popularity as a chosen option. Finally, not only teachers are being sacked but subjects are having to be lossed such as food technology, this means students who want a career path towards things like cooking will be made harder as getting onto further courses might require this gcse. This needs to be adressed how our young people are being hindered by money and can not do the career they want to enjoy in the future due to cuts needing to be spent in main subjects which are also struggling.
