Help keep the elderly and disabled safe whilst recycling at Barrow in FurnessKeep the disabled and elderly safe during recycling. We all pay our council tax and have an equal right to use the the facility. Stairs shouldn't stop us. Queuing cars into the main road that is used to exit the town is unsafe.4 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Polly Wright

Stop Drug Companies Overcharging The NHSThe Government forces the NHS to pay up to 10 times or more for drugs compared to the market price to have a "secure supply". The NHS should only have to pay more if the drugs are in short supply globally. Then is the only time to pay the drug companies more to secure supply.13 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Peter Farr

Wheelie bins for CornwallLitter and waste is a severe problem in Cornwall. The majority of waste left out for bin collections gets attacked by animals or birds. Cornwall is a beautiful county, which is trying hard via many volunteer groups to keep litter out of our rivers and ultimately the sea. I belong to the Bude Rubbish Action Group, (BRAG), who meet regularly to clear our lovely town of litter. BRAG also educates our community how to deal correctly with waste and litter. The use of wheelie bins would have a massive impact on the problem of waste being blown around our streets. With huge amounts of waste and plastic finding its way into our oceans, I feel the Government and local councils should act immediately. Please provide us with wheelie bins.43 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Binzy Reynolds

Brighouse Train Station parking facilities & disrepair of Rastrick roadsResidential parking is increasingly becoming unavailable and unmanageable along Gooder Lane and the surrounding residential streets due to a lack of parking facilities at Brighouse train station. Rastrick has a high density of residential properties, which already makes the possibilty of parking limited. The lack of parking facilities at Brighouse train station means that rail commuters are having to find parking elsewhere, namely on neighbouring residential streets, making residents unable to park anywhere near their own home. As Rastrick & Brighouse Councillors, we have lobbyed the Council for a number of years to look, in partnership with the other stakeholders (e.g. WY Combined Authority), at this situation, to no avail. The situation needs an holistic approach exploring all veasible options and solutions to avoid displacing the problem on to other streets in the area. However, simply put, we need more parking facilities at Brighouse Train Station. Gooder Lane is a regularly used highway by residents, railway users, businesses (both shops and industrial companies), HGVs, and day to day commuters. This road, and many of the 'offshoot' residential streets (Bridge End in particular) are very poorly maintained, and have been for years, meaning that many drivers avoid using this road and instead use another route which causes congestion on other main roads. These roads need to be properly assessed and dressed. As Councillors, we are continually told that assessments will take place but, to date, none have taken place and no action has been taken to address this problem.116 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Sophie Whittaker

Modernise Wirral CrematoriumMy wish is to have crematorium buildings which meet the needs of mourners, at a difficult and sensitive time, and support professionals working there. These new buildings should have much more seating, so that no-one has to stand, or wait outside, through the service. They should have a changing room for clergy, and ideally, toilets accessible from inside the building. At present, all Wirral cremations take place at Landican cemetery, in buildings which seem to date from the 1930s or 1940s. There are 3 ‘chapels’. Even the largest ‘Central’ chapel is often full to overflowing, with mourners having to stand, or even wait outside, whatever the weather. About 8 out of 10 funerals that I have attended there, have been like this. CULTURE & DIVERSITY In keeping with the council’s Equality & Diversity policy, they should have no religious symbols in the architecture. Instead, portable religious symbols, eg. Crosses, may be stored, or brought in, where appropriate. I am a Christian (URC) but we live in a multi-cultural society, with people of different faiths, and some with no religious faith. We now have humanist funerals, which celebrate the life of the deceased, without reference to God. The new buildings should reflect this. I am aware that some faiths prefer burial to cremation, but suggest that those faith groups who use the crematorium should be consulted about the design. COST I am aware of the council’s budgetary restrictions, however, these proposals only require capital expenditure, not an on-going commitment. The council receives revenue from funerals. COMMENTS Are you a Wirral resident, or have you attended a funeral in Wirral? Are you a professional, involved in funerals? Are you from an ethnic minority? Thank you for signing this petition. If successful, it will be a tribute to my husband and parents, and others whom I have said “Goodbye” at Landican. Christine Trenery 4 June 201815 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Christine Trenery

Newport City Council needs to do more work in Pillgwenlly and not rely On the volunteers.1. We need to keep the streets clean and the kids park clean at all time to make it Safe as I know people that go there and you have bins over flowing all the time and Glass on floor and injection needles all the time. 2. Is is not right for drug dealers and prostitutes to do there Business on street corners or public places as so people don’t feel safe at all. 3. The bus service in Pillgwenlly needs to link back in with duffryn as the busses in pill stop at 6.30pm and none on Sunday and bank holidays98 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Paul Murphy

Save Our Arches - Guardians of the ArchesNetwork Rail are selling the entire estate of railway arches and public land to a private investor by end August 2018. In advance of this sale, small businesses are being crippled by impossible rent demands and we need your urgent help to petition Chris Grayling to stop this sale, save our Arches and safeguard our small businesses across the UK. We must act now, once the sale takes place the public land will be gone and it will be too late.12 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Eleni Jones

A Place of Sanctuary - Right Care, Right Time, Right PlaceWhat’s the problem? Nationally, mental health services are in crisis. Southwark Pensioners Action Group (SPAG) supports the campaign to open a Place of Sanctuary at the Maudsley Hospital, Denmark Hill site. Kings A&E feels like an awful place to be if you are having a mental health crisis because in a busy, hectic sometimes aggressive reception area alongside those with broken limbs or other physical trauma. It’s feels even worse if you are a child, a young person, a pregnant woman or a mum with a baby 60% of young people turning up in crisis are not known to mental health services for children and young people The significant increase in knife crime since January 2018 means Kings A&E is under huge pressure What do we want? A 24 hour walk-in Place of Sanctuary at the Maudsley Hospital Denmark Hill site for those in mental health crisis. Especially for Children and Young People, and Pregnant Women, Mothers with Babies in mental health crisis Mental health money must reach the frontline No more cuts to Children and Young Peoples’ mental health services in or out of hospital Why? Kings A&E is not a Place of Sanctuary for people who need emergency mental health treatment Excellent crisis care saves lives Our children, pregnant mums and mothers with young babies deserve far better emergency mental health services What time is it?? It’s TIME for the South London and Maudesley Hospital Trust to step up It’s TIME for the Trust to provide a 24 hour walk in Place of Sanctuary at Denmark Hill It’s TIME for the Trust to pull its weight for those in mental health crisis Who can do it? You can by signing this petition 59 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Cathy Deplessis

Stop financially penalising disabled parentsThe children are required to buy a ticket simply because the parent is entitled to a government bus pass (offering free travel for the parent with some reimbursement for the bus company from the government for it's use) due to their disability. There are strict criteria to get a pass and it is supposed to be part of opening up opportunity for those living with disability. If the parent is simply having to pay a child fare instead of their own there is only a 30% reduction in cost instead of the 100% policy intended. It is discriminatory to be charging disabled parents a fare that a parent with no disability would not have to pay. It risks isolating disabled people further and marginalising their children who often already have many disadvantages in life. I am only able to work part time due to my health needs so we along with many others have financial difficulties as a family. Many people with disability depend upon the buses far more than those who are able bodied as they may be unable to safely drive or be mobile over short distances. I myself am dependent upon bus use to get to the shops to buy food, get to GP and hospital appointments as well as taking my daughter to baby and toddler groups. My daughter is an integral part of my life, I have very little support to care for her and I am scared that a reduction in my ability to be mobile due to unfair charges will impact on the life I am able to offer her.9 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Rosie Smith
