• LETS BRING AN ICESKATING RINK TO NORWICH, UK
An iceskating rink would be a perfect idea for local residents and a tourist attraction. The local icerink from Norwich is in Peterbourough (1 hour 38 minutes.) This is inconvenient for those who wish to bond with family, spend time with community due to it being too far to travel.

  • Recycling facilities for all
Recycling is an important factor in protecting our planet from the impact that we are having on it, it enables us to use products such as plastics and glass safe in the knowledge that it won't hinder our wildlife and areas of natural beauty. If individuals do not have access to recycling facilities and they do not drive they will be unable to recycle despite their convictions.

  • Bus service for residents on the quay and Riverside view
The Riverside view estate is quite isolated and can be dangerous to walk to and from. With the wagons that speed down the quay with no obvious speed limit indicated and the industrial estate behind is a hazard to walk through. The nearest bus service is the 11 from the marsh which is 15-20 minute walk away, or a 35 minute walk into the town centre which can be issue for young families, people who are unable to drive, disabled and the elderly.

  • Gambling adverts on tv and everywhere on the internet
It's important because they are using techniques which give you a little and take a whole lot more back like a stereotypical drug dealer offering you a little try to get you to buy into it... I believe it's a scam and only destruction can come from it to the majority.

  • Save Charing Cross Hospital
These plans will lose more than 300 acute care beds, and London will lose a hospital with a world class reputation for treatment. This is important to me on a personal level as my mother was treated there during her illness and received really excellent treatment. Here are the key findings of the Independent Healthcare Commission regarding the closure: - There is no completed, up-to-date business plan in place that sets out the case for delivering the Shaping a Healthier Future (SaHF) programme, demonstrating that the programme is affordable and deliverable. - There was limited and inadequate public consultation on the SaHF proposals and those proposals themselves did not provide an accurate view of the costs and risks to the people affected. - The escalating cost of the programme does not represent value for money and is a waste of precious public resources. - NHS facilities, delivering important public healthcare services, have been closed without adequate alternative provision being put in place. - The original business case seriously underestimated the increasing size of the population in North West London and fails to address the increasing need for services.

  • Improvements for Kingfisher and Fairfield
We believe these long term spends would improve access for safe play for residents and people from all over the borough who visit the site. The site is directly next to the local public swimming pool and as such attracts a lot of visitors. Long term solutions are proven to be the right option. We all feel that sending someone to litter pick on the rare occasion a resident makes a complaint simply cannot be accepted as a solution. It is a weak, short term solution for a big problem, and the council need to stop avoiding the issue and do the right thing by its residents.

  • We won’t pay for Trump to play golf
Many people in the UK work hard to pay their taxes to ensure that education, health and policing are funded. We have already suffered many years of austerity and the money is needed by the British people. And anyway paying for foreign presidents to play golf on their private courses - in the hope that we get a good trade deal - is what we call corruption in other countries . So let’s not let that happen here. Please add your name in support

  • Preserve Shoreham by Sea Public Library
This building is a classic piece of mid twentieth century architecture. It beautifully complements the historic and verdant churchyard adjacent. If it closes as a library, which we hope it will not, then it would make a first class art gallery, which Shoreham desperately needs.
