The Ely Valley is a very important SSSI serving the Vale and Cardiff. There is a wealth of protected plants, animals and birds here. There are many ancient woodlands on the route of the proposed new road. All of these could be lost for ever if the road is approved. It is crucial that our Council works with adjoining councils to reduce traffic travelling around the Vale and Cardiff. There is already a parallel road serving this route just two miles away which should be improved to resolve traffic issues. We can’t just keep building roads at the expense of our green fields. 72,000 cars drive in to Cardiff daily and a new road will attract even more cars to this area, creating even more congestion where the new road joins the M4 and A48. We believe that sustainable alternatives should be sought to reduce car dependency. The levels of air pollution in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan are now causing more deaths than alcohol or obesity with a rising figure of over 225 deaths a year. Please join us in valuing our countryside and all that it offers for future generations.

BA carried 45.2 million passengers in 2017 alone ! Most of these would have had drink on their flight. That is 45 million cups in a year, possibly more, and I don't even know how to start calculating the amount of plastic waste that comes from on board meals and flight bags. This unnecessary and senseless plastic addiction must end, especially knowing that there are alternatives that are fully compostable ( much better than the biodegradable ones). We have all been offered drinks on board, just one fast drink and the cup stays around for centuries. Yes, they can argue they recycle them, but there is already enough plastic in the world and we need to stop adding more in it. The UK government sold two licences to frack in Scotland (Petroleum Exploration and Development Licenes - PEDLs). Now the Scottish government has been handed control of licensing and this gives them the chance to end the threat to the health of communities across the Central Belt once and for all PEDL 162 comes up for renewal on June 30th - we say, don't renew it. PEDL 133 has some years to go - we say, revoke it. And state that no further licenses will be sold. INEOS, who own both licences, recently went to court to say the Scottish government doesn't have the power to ban fracking. But if Holyrood has the power to licence, they also have the power NOT to licence. Support our petition and also contact your MSP and ask them to support us when the question comes up in the Scottish parliament.

Currently there is no pedestrian crossing at this fast and busy junction and people are putting themselves in danger by dashing across the road. Many of these pedestrians are school pupils of The Compton School and Wren Academy and users of Finchley Memorial Hospital as well as many mothers with young children. The lack of crossing also means people are standing in a highly polluted area for long periods of time. Barnet Council and TFL are prioritising 'traffic flow' over the safety of people.

There is growing Concern by a lot of Salfordians that this iconic cast-iron structures that many generations have grown up with will no longer be there!. There are many great examples around the UK of how they have been redeveloped into housing, public and community usage. In a sympathetic and artistic eye pleasing manner. Like the one in the photograph. In alot of Salfordians eyes they should be saved and redeveloped instead of just being demolished so the land can be built on for another high rised apartment block, in Salford So come on SALFORD, too many of our historic landmarks have been demolished to build high rise unaffordable apartment blocks , we need to join together and hopefully stop this from happening before its too late as this is a historic sites. This great historic landmark need to be saved for all of Salford to admire for generations to come.

No where for mothers and children to meet up with proper seating to have a chat/catch up. The community has no other facilities like the park in poplar. With its own toilets and unit for rainy days. It was also secure which was great for kids with Special needs (the amount of children with extra needs,is above the national average in LBTH)

The people living the near the pub are experiencing heavy noise nuisances from customers using the facilities. Homes and private walkways are being urinated on, bottles are being dumped frequently on the public highway and customers are often parking dangerously. Under the Environmental Protection Act 1990, statutory noise nuisance affects a person's health or causes disturbance to them in their property. Residents should be able to live in a clean and safe environment. The persistent anti social behaviour is substantially interfering with the living quality of residents who are living in close proximities of the premises. The area will benefit significantly with appropriate action being carried out and promote a family friendly environment. This will also allow residents to access roads, reduce crime and be able to sleep during early hours of the morning.

Aside from creating clutter around our homes, it's just another example of wasteful plastic filling up our world that we don't need and promotes a wasteful culture. The magazines themselves are creative and fun and the plastic toys they use are marketing ploys to make children nag their parents for them. The toys are obviously cheap and flimsy and rarely last long for playing. Most of these plastic toys will just end up in our bins, our landfill and clogging up the oceans. The magazines are good enough without having the cheap toys tacked onto them. Redan Publishing aren't the only children's magazine to do this but they publish popular ones such as Peppa Pig and CBeebies. Hopefully by targeting them we can create interest and public pressure to challenge the assumption that children's magazines need cheap plastic toys to sell.

A child’s right to play, and to have space to play, are human rights enshrined in Article 31 of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. This recognises the fundamental role that play has for the health, development and wellbeing of children, and it is incumbent upon states parties to ensure these rights are protected. The recognition of these rights, and the importance of play space to communities, are clearly defined in national, London and Hackney planning policy, which make requirements for the provision of adequate play space a key factor in good place making. The proposals Hackney Council have put forward would have the effect of removing almost all the dedicated play space on the Lincoln Court estate, in a part of London that Hackney has identified as already deficient in play space. It is contrary to planning policy, and to public assurances given by the Mayor of Hackney, and Hackney Council, that their Housing Supply Programme would lead to 'no loss of play space'. These play decks are where our children built their first snowmen, where they learnt to ride their bicycles, and where they kick a ball around with friends. From The Yorkshire Moors, to Sherwood Forest, to the Fylde Coast, our countryside - and our democracy - is at risk. The government has announced plans to streamline the planning process for fracking. If this goes ahead, it will be as easy to drill an exploration fracking well as it is to build a conservatory or erect a fence. These plans are deeply undemocratic - they twist planning laws to give the government and fracking companies the power to override the will of local people - who have fought relentlessly to halt fracking at every turn. These proposals could see scores of new drilling sites appear over the next couple of years in the English countryside – with the risk of untold environmental, landscape and climate impact. This is the government taking desperate measures to make fracking happen and it’s up to us to stop the proposals before it’s too late.

The woodland site that is being developed is: Home to a variety of species including Bats, Heron, Woodpecker, Owls, Muntjac (deer), Newts, Kingfishers and many more Described by the Norfolk Wild Trust as an area of a habitat of principal importance in the NERC Act A priority habitat under the UK Biodiversity Action Plan. Forms an ecological corridor In Britain all bat species and their roosts are legally protected - the developers shouldn't be interfering with their habitat Built on marine alluvium soil Concerns that the old drainage systems will not cope Will be approximately 9 metres from people's properties The town already has multiple land and units of the same specification available for rent or sale Will destroy the natural noise and space buffer between a residential area and an industrial estate A former residents ashes have been scattered there, they are most likely to be lost under the development Community includes many elderly people, people with health conditions & some housebound that rely on its visual & physical qualities Will be lost for the next generation/eternally Dramatically effect all residents house values & home insurance policies Parking/congestion already at a premium Damage to properties, many of which are more than 100 years old

The reduction in opening hours has led to very long queues and waiting times. It is punishing those people who are trying to recycle and dispose of household waste responsibly. Making it more difficult to use the recycling centre will undoubtedly worsen the existing problem of fly tipping in the area.
