• Summergroves speed way
Worryingly the speed of all vehicles including buses is on an increase with sometimes speeds at excess of 60mph by some cars and in excess of 30mph by some buses. Children are becoming at risk and it will only be a matter of time before the inevitable happens with either a child, pedestrian, cyclist or motorist being severely injured or worse, a fatality.

  • Stop plans for 17.5 metre high (4g) mobile phone mast & 15metre high floodlights Wirral Greenbelt
The health issues/concerns of emissions from mobile phone masts are well recorded. 4g mobile masts/antennas have even more powerful transmissions of microwave radiation. The proposed placement of this mast so close to residential property and children's playing field is of serious concern to local residents. Also the the size of these floodlights and mast would be a blot on the greenbelt land and an eyesore for residents living opposite.

  • Make public parks safer and cleaner for children
The public park is thought to be a happy, safe place for your children to play and make new friends and be themselves but in face it is the opposite. My local parks are filled with drunken hooligans drinking despite them being a no alcohol zone and broken glass and needles and other dangerous rubbish lying around despite litter bins located everywhere, I remember it being a safe, clean environment and so many people were happy but now they both don't get as many visitors and children are sometimes scared to go there.

  • Support Daffodils Outdoor Nursery and Arthingworth Village
Daffodils Outdoor Nursery is a family run business which has just registered with Ofsted to provide childcare for children in the Arthingworth and surrounding areas. We are a unique nursery following an outdoor approach to learning and offering something different to families in the area. Someone has put in an application for permission to open a nursery directly opposite ours. It has come to our attention that a previous application for permission to build 27 houses was rejected, and that the change in application to incorporate a nursery is in fact a ploy to gain permission for a housing development. As a brand new business, we do obviously have concerns about the sustainability of two day nurseries in such a small village. But we also have concerns about the increased traffic more housing and another nursery will bring, as well as the change to the village that a large housing development will have. We urge you to please consider the application and the motives behind it, and to consider the detrimental affect it will have on not only us as small family run business that has not yet had a chance to establish itself, but on the beautiful village of Arthingworth as a whole.

  • Chichester Northern By-Pass
It will be cheaper and quicker than upgrading the existing congested route . It will cause far less inconvenience during the construction period. It will also cause less accidents which in turn will save the NHS some millions. It would cut down on the amount of pollution from stationary vehicles which lasts for much of the day on the existing route

  • New playground for Elmbridge community
Elmbridge is a community full of young families but we don't have a suitable playground in the area. We would like a play area where families can meet with friends and have picnics, with equipment that children of all ages can enjoy.

  • save our public parks
Parks belong to us all - they are a freely available resource. They facilitate exercise, social interaction, play, opportunities for peace and tranquillity. In today's increasingly urban- centric England, they are increasingly valuable.
