Support low pollution road transport fuelWe need to have good alternatives to high polluting fossil fuels. An effective & proven way to support alternative fuels is by lower taxation as we already have with LPG/CNG. Promote cleaner transport fuels that can be used in existing vehicles to dramatically lower pollution by up to 80% per vehicle. Action, not words are needed !5 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Fraser Davies

Stop Network Rail destroying trees and wildlife1.To protect wildlife (bats, squirrels, badgers, foxes, birds) 2.Removing oxygen producing plants which contribute to sustaining the local ecosystem will have a negative impact environmentally 3. Removing natural defences (from the sound of the railway to natural flood defences) will have an impact on the homes in and around the planned tree felling area135 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Zoe Wilson

SAVE OUR SOUTH YORKS BUSESSouth Yorkshire traffic is in crisis: we need a better bus service to encourage people out of their cars. Too much traveller time is wasted in traffic queues. Nitrogen dioxide and particulates in vehicle emissions cause asthma, heart disease, Alzheimer's and early death.3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by roy morris

Road Safety Measures for Long Road LawfordIt's important because it's an accident waiting to happen especially in the afternoon when there is no crossing patrol to help parents and children to cross this extremely busy road. My 3yr old daughter and in-laws were involved in a near miss crossing this road on 4/10/18. Following a message on social media I have found out in the last month since the school returned from summer break there have been at least three other near miss incidents and one child has been knocked over. A crossing has been talked about for years on this site but nothing has been done. With all the extra traffic created by the new housing estates in the area the situation is only going to get worse. We need Essex Highways to take action ASAP before a serious accident occurs.283 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Sarah Newman

Extend Glasgow Subway Timetable on Sunday'sIt's time that Glasgow Subway operates longer on Sundays rather then the short time of 10:00 - 18:00. This will be of huge benefit as more people are out on Sunday's and many other major cities in the UK including London Underground still have the system running till almost midnight on a Sunday so why should it that people have to rush from their shopping at Buchanan Street or St Enoch to catch the last train at 6pm on a Sunday otherwise having to resort to getting a bus which also has reduced frequency or spending a lot of money on a taxi instead. Its time for Glasgow Subway to get ahead of it's time with the current modernisation program and extend the time on Sunday so that people can spend a little more time in the town on Sundays12 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Aswad Choudhry

20mph MaidstoneMaidstone is a highly populated town with plenty of traffic and a centralised population. This means that many residential roads become "rat runs" for cars looking to avoid traffic on the major roads. A 20mph limit will make our residential roads safer.23 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Steve Cheeseman

Provide Rail Services at Congleton on Northern Strike DaysOn strike days Northern provide no trains at Congleton and no replacement bus service, their only advice is to walk over a mile to the town centre to catch a bus service that doesn't run anymore. Congleton is the busiest station that is not served on strike days and which has no reasonable alternative. This disrupts a lot of people and has a major negative impact on the town.61 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Jack Eadie

Demand Southern Vectis increase capacity on route 1The single deck buses are not big enough and at busier times small children, elderly people and those with mobility issues are forced to stand in cramped conditions with very little to hold on to. This often means that drivers are forced to leave passengers behind as there is no space on board. Also during these periods standing passengers have to get off of the bus in order to allow those sitting at the rear of the bus to alight at their chosen stop. It gets especially bad at the hospital and college stops during peak times.18 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Jo Palfrey

Improve access to Exeter St.Thomas Railway StationI am Mason Bell, I am running this petition because the only access to the station is up flights of stairs. These stairs are steep and on one side there are 3 sections of steps to climb. This makes access very difficult for people with disabilities, parents with children in buggies and heavy luggage. I myself am unable to access the station as the stairs are too steep for me. I see lots of people struggle up the steps to the station and a lift or stairlift will make access and easier and be more likely to improve usage of the station.211 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Mason Bell
