Childrens mental healthSince the pandemic there has been a significant rise in children suffering with mental health. 1 in 9 leapt to 1in 6. With a 33% rise in educational settings putting in referrals to CAMHS, who have a minimum waiting period of 12 weeks in some areas. (The average child is rejected sometimes up to 3 times before they even make it on to the waiting list.) children just aren't getting the support they need to engage with their education. Teachers in mainstream educational setting are ill equipped to know how to recognise early signs and are unsure what steps to take if they are concerned because the guidelines are not clear enough or local services are over stretched and can't accept more referrals. On school site counsellors would help avoid crisis point in some of the most vulnerable children giving them the opportunity to build resilience and emotional maturity. With 75% of adult mental health issues beginning before the age of 18. We need to be doing more!76 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Natara Newell

Make All Motorcycle Gear A Legal RequirementPeople i was close to or Know and seen In motorcycle accidents have either ended up only bruised, few broken bones, wheelchair bound or worse lose there lives because they think they will be find if something happens. If you walk away first time it luck it highly likely wont happen again the way you expect. I want try educate and protect as many people as possible from injuries or death. All of these things should be common sense when riding a motorcycle. As a motorcyclist we are more at risk of injury or death than any other vehicle and the gear is what gives us more of a chance to survive and walk away. Seeing people in shorts, tshirts, flipflops , normal trainers etc makes me and many other motorcyclist have mixed emotions when seeing this.20 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Chantelle Morgan

Pension shortfall: Speed up the Payout to National insurance stamp payersWe have waited far too long to get this money. We should have had their pension increased by £30 per week when our husbands reached 65. We were NEVER notified and therefore, about 200 thousand women never claimed. Now it's on the news and it is to be paid to us, but they should owe us this money PLUS interest. Some of us are in our 80s and don’t have good health much longer to enjoy it..2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Janice Tiernan

Review How Child Maintenance is CalculatedThe way this happens forces many people into hardship and has driven no doubt thousands to despair and suicide over the years through being left in debt due to an unfair method to calculate maintenance8 of 100 SignaturesCreated by richard purvis

Adult and child mental health support CornwallOur mental health has a detrimental effect on all aspects of lives I believe Cornwall needs more support for the adults and children who need access to these services! I think a standard a 3 year waiting list for CAMHS is to long and having a very negative effect on young people if you do not access mental health services at the point needed it leads to self harm, depression, anxiety, anti social behaviour; drink/drugs and unfortunately suicide😓 coronavirus has only added to the very limited resources Cornwall is receiving . This cannot be accepted anymore Cornwall deserves more, everyone does. Mental health matters22 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Sarah-jayne Dean

Free sport & leisure for all children to help repair mental health & wellbeingChildren and young people have sacrificed so much during the Covid-19 pandemic and it is felt that their resilience has been taken somewhat for granted. The UK government has ploughed public money into the economy to help small businesses, charities, the self-employed, the unemployed and financed the furlough scheme. Implementing these policies was right, however our children and young people have been forgotten. Sending laptops to schools is helpful but it's not all about education now. Their mental health is at stake and this will likely hinder them for years, if not their whole lives. Furthermore, it will have long-term implications for the NHS too. We would like to see the UK government prioritise schemes to thank our young people for giving up so much for the greater good. We would like to see them provided with paid for gym and leisure centre memberships, paid courses for hobbies such as music, sports, amateur dramatic, martial arts, etc. This may not solve all of their well-being challenges but it would go some way to helping repair the damage of the pandemic and would also show our children and young people that we care and that they are important too.28 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Melanie Knight

Support James PemberJames Pember from Caerphilly is a fantastic intelligent young person who is the most kind thoughtful and funny boy I've ever met. His approachable and empathetic personality always puts everyone at ease and anyone who ever meets him thinks the world of him. He definitely deserves more praise for how much he is there for others but he doesn't always appreciate himself. This petition is to show him that we all care, and to encourage the Welsh Government to provide recognition of James in whatever way possible. Let's bring him to public prominence for his kindness!34 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Emma Cairns

Immediate financial aid to the self-employed.It is unacceptable and cruel to make the millions of self-employed wait months for a fourth SEISS grant that may or may not be even at the 80% trading profits of those whom own their own businesses. Whilst billions of pounds are given to the economy by the self-employed, annually we are not being financially supported enough during the pandemic and the length of time between payments is unrealistically long for most families. This is causing undue suffering and worry and is wholly unacceptable, especially to those who are unable to access benefits.208 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Victoria Joyce-Clarke
